Has everything you need, great place to shop,but needs more friendly staff,and more and different products.

I was in a hurry so thought I would use the self checkout. But when I started to a register in self checkout the employee spoke up and said that they were card only machines and werent accepting any cash. I only had two items and the other 2 registers that were open had about eight people in each line with buggies full so I ended up having to leave the items that I needed and go home empty-handed. It just wasnt worth me standing in line for an hour and a half to buy something for a total of $6. Youve got to do better than this Walmart!! Get it together guys...

I purchased my husband an air rifle but for some reason it wouldnt work so with my receipt I took it back to exchange but was told it wasnt returnable. Now the receipt nor the display case say that if you purchase these items you cant return them so what I dont understand is why when I talked to the manager she couldnt help me with the situation considering the ones working the area said it supposed to be 90 days with receipt but the ones working the service area would not help. Im telling you dont purchase these types of items from here unless you cool with spending money and being told after you have problems that we cant help. I also mentioned to the manager you should at least put a sign up to let customers know because some of them are $200 and thats not cheap and she said they dont have to, now tell how is this right for the customers that you want to spend money in your store, but it just shows me that I need to spend my money with people who have better ways of handling customers and policies If I can give them no stars I would. Beware dont get your air rifle from here.

Grocery pick up staff and crew are great. Hate going to Walmart but this by far is one of the best Ive ever been to.

Walmart + is great. So speedy checking out. Frustrating one of the self check lanes was taken up by an employee depositing change into the register. Waiting 4 additional minutes because of this.

Its Walmart...🤷🏽‍♀️. Either go early or late (to be able to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time) and expect to utilize the self-checkout because there are never enough cashiers on hand.

Usually shelves are an absolute mess, you can almost get everything you need in one Isle as long as you dig through everything. I will say today i was impressed there finally seems to be some order. Thank you to whoever got fired, hired, or just decided to care, dont think it hasnt gone unnoticed!

Although is a bigger store, but sometimes dont have all the products.If you need help theres hard to find someone. Most time people with the most stuff are in the express lane.

Its been awhile since I have been to the Walmart in Bessemer. Well maintained the front floor was very clean. Found everything I need

Shelves werent fully stocked but I really cant hold it against them, other than that, I had an extremely friendly cashier and the greeter was very friendly as well

I like to be an early bird shopper! It’s care free, hassle free and in & out shopping! The Associates was friendly and helpful. And there was no waiting in line to check out! I got everything I needed and was on my way! You should try it too! HAPPY SHOPPING!!

I dont work for your store open up your registers. Maybe you will get some workers if you pay more. You have all these straw bosses walking around looking pretty make them work. Me myself will never use the self check out wil leave a buggy full of stuff and walk out.

What is wright about this place? But they have most everything, if you can find it! You better not need assistance and no cashiers to boot.

People beware of the Walmart in Bess, went there today and was directed to the cash check out, after scanning my groceries was told it was credit card only.Had the transaction voided went to a regular check out and had to have everything rescanned, the employee deliberately charge me for two things I didnt buy and they both cost $5.98 , please check your receipts before you leave the store the employees checking you out is ripping people off, I left the register and went straight to the customer service and it seemed to piss them off because I reported it. Be real careful about about the people checking you out

Its a Walmart.... the store is messy but dirty. The associates are helpful but not friendly. Judging by the number of police cars... shoplifting is a problem. I would shop there again if I needed to but not a place to do casual window shopping.

I just wish I could give them negative stars as this was the absolute rudest experience we have ever had at a Walmart or any store for that matter!! They really need to get new staff or shut the doors! The store was a mess too! Seen several shopping carts filled to the top with inventory they were pulling off the shelves just sitting in middle of the aisles. Horrible experience

First time using an online gift card and had no problems I really like the online thing cuz all you have to do is scan your phone

Horrible only 2 lines open at 11:30 in the afternoon. Self check out is slammed and its difficult to find a self check out that that takes cash. Out of product quite often. Have to go and get your own, most of the time there are no carts inside. The self checkout that corporate tries to force everyone to use has always at least two of them out of order on a regular basis as well.

Walmart is Walmart the only game in town for one stop shopping when I have time I go other places.. they have cheap quality and you just have to get what they have the worst place for buying groceries.

The employee there needs to be more respectful of us as customers

I would have given it 5 stars but the lady at the dressing room was rude and acted like she hated her job.[Dont we apply and interview for the jobs that we hold? Arent we given a job offer after those interviews and its left up to us/the individual whether we accept it or not]

WalMart pickup was fast and the workers were polite. It was the last hour for pick-up and I got there at 7:30 pm. No one else was picking up at that time. Wonderful experience.

Yeah I went for orientation & let’s just say I left on the first break pat hill was very rude & unprofessional & kept throwing unnecessary Jabs & comments just really rude & I didn’t appreciate it at all . RATCHET & GHETTO from management on down .. a complete waste of time.. i wouldn’t recommend working there especially not for 12-$ ..

There was a lady working in the electronics section; I did not get her name. She did not have a name on her tag.I went in looking for Canon Pixma color ink. There was none on the shelf, as other Walmart I have visited. This lady looked through some boxes of product to set out and found what I was looking for. Thank you Maam!!!!

This store is going downhill. Shelves are half stocked or empty, registers main closed down. Store just seems dirty

Isle too narrow, shelves empty. I told my companion to remind me, never come to this Walmart again.

This Walmart is usually stocked up and ran efficiently but on this visit it wasnt up to theyre usual standards . Restroom was paper less no soap not but two checkouts were open at like lunch time midday so 3 stars but I have hopes for this location ..Walmart I want to go head and thank you in advance for fixing this issue for all of us that depend on Walmart being all that and more

Clean well kept store, unlike some of other area locations. Stock is generally improved over a couple of months ago.

This place is always busy you can find most anything they even have a eye care center great place to shop

Visited around 2 p.m. No long lines, busy but clean!

Had everything that I needed but many shelves were empty. A supervisor name Derrick was extremely helpful.

I have experienced only good things from Walmart except when I return to my CD player and they wanted me to exhaust my options running from the front a store to the back of the store & then running to the front again.... Like I said Walmart likes for you to exhaust your options.... But I got it returned... Youre sincerely S.A.M.

Its Wal Mart... the statt usually seem to have an attitude, long check out lines IF they even have a register with a cashier open. Wal Mart is trying to train us to check out our own purchases and do away with most of the cashiers. Most of the cashiers have no idea of how to bag groceries. Even if you place the items on the belt in the order they should be placed in a bag. Sad really that so many people now have few actual skills.

This Walmart is better stocked than the one in Hueytown but the checkout is awful. No open cashiers and everyone gathers at the self checkouts. Long line to get to a register and too many people gathering within the self checkouts that you can’t tell if they are open or not. The whole setup is wonky.

I am disabled and the riding carts are mostly broken. So I had to turn around and go to a store that the carts work.

For a supercenter it doesnt have a big selection. Went in mainly for ice, new toothbrushes, and bras. The bras are either picked over or they dont stock enough. They are tangeled and i spent 10 minutes trying to find my size.

Easy to find everything i need and the cashiers are friendly

This is now the third time that my grocery order has been over an hour late. If I could give walmart zero stars as a whole, I would. This particular visit was a total of 2.5 hours PAST my pickup window. I called to get some of explanation as to whats going on, I got a call center where english is the second or third language-absolutely no help because they didnt seem to understand the problem (or care). If I wanted my groceries later, I would have picked a later time slot.

Terrible checkout. Long waits to check out. Complaining does not help at all. Calling 1 800 walmart does nothing. People answering phone dont speak good English. Fed up with Walmart.

It sucked nothing was in stock & no employees around to ask questions but when I saw some they were lounging around or something & to top it off they only had self checkout open no cashier in sight with both self checkouts had lines longer than Jordan Saturday

Rare to find shopping carts in the store. I asked and employee and he told me to go get one myself! Only a few stocking food. You can see carts of milk waiting behind all the empty carts. Aisles are narrow in many places. In general its not a very clean store. Overall the people shopping there are nice and cordial. Always a line at the checkout! Management needs to do their job or be replaced.

Not a 24 hrs,It seems like it is smaller than other walmarts.Truck friendly.

Pleasant shopping environment. Me and a friend were shopping, we chose the same item. Mine was priced cheaper than hers, but management did a price adjustment on her items too. So we both left with smiles.

I thought it wasnt crowded at all for Friday night. Plenty of checkers & lines moved fast. Im not a big fan but tonight was all good.

There was only two lanes open. All the self checkout were card only. Has to wait for 20 minutes for someone to come to the dressing room area.

I had an assigned time to pick up paid for groceries. Once I arrivedI had to wait an hour before it was brought out to my vehicle. May I add other times there were no problems. The process was good and worked accordingly.

I used to shop Wal-Mart once a week. But now they lines be so long I go once a month. Guess what other stores carry them same products and Wal-Mart is horrible to its employees to keep from providing them health insurance.

Well stocked, neat, and with a great selection of anything you could need. I found everything that I came for! Only 4 stars because I realized once I got home that some of the sizes on the hangers did not match the size of the clothes that were on them.

No problem cause I didnt have mask lines were not long It was in and out.

They were stocked!!!! Clean and helpful. Every time I got to Walmart I never find all of what I came for but that wasnt the case for today ☺️ yay

Ok so its Walmart and you kinda know what to expect. Ill say this though it is clean and not too crowded. I mean its the typical Walmart set up. This location actually have employees waiting and willing to help in the self check out. at least two or three at any given time. Sooooooooooooooooo good for this location to have some customer service. I mean again its Walmart you kinda know what to expect.

Its Walmart, if your running inside to get your goods its normally not terrible but forget about using the online pickup, on two separate occasions I spent over 2 hours waiting on my good that were confirmed ready for pick up, employees refusing to get a manager, and third occasion after 3 hours of waiting was told to come back another time. I refuse to go to this place again, do yourself a favor drive 10 more minutes down the road and go to publix.

The store was very busy I have been in the store many times it is certainly came a long way since I first visited this store and I like it its convenient to my location where I live and I got what I went for I had to wait about 20 minutes in line with cashier but the cashier was very nice Ill be going back I love the store now, who doesnt love Wally world ? The store was clean and five out of six employees were very courteous when I spoke with them.

Only proble I have is checking myself out. You pay high prices and then have to scan and bag your on items. This is also taking a lot of peoples jobs.

This is one of my top 5 worst Walmarts Ive visited. The shelves are always empty and store understaffed. I gave 2 stars vs.1 Because were coming out of the pandemic and businesses are struggling to restaff. However, the vision center gets 5 Stars. If youre not visiting the vision center, Its worth driving the extra miles to the Huey Town location.

I utilize this location as a last resort. Quick stops and such. Dont care for the service and the remodeling has made the isles too narrow, in my opinion

Good store with truck parking. Overnight is allowed

Clean and everyone is super nice. The reason I’m only giving 3 stars is because the aisles are very narrow and it’s impossible to move around when there are 7+ people with buggys.
