I love this market!! I buy groceries all the time and love how clean it is! I also buy roses for my clients every week. Sometimes two times a week. Today I came in and there were 3 dozen roses available the rest of flowers were in boxes. However the roses that remained looked sad and dying. I am happy to pay 19.99 for a dozen roses. I’m happy to pay 50 for a dozen beautiful roses. However to pay full price for dying roses? The florist informed me that she would not give me fresh roses out of the boxes but I could pay full price for the ones left. Here is what I paid for.I only wanted fresh roses. And happy to pay full price for them. Florist today just before 10 am was not helpful nor did she try to be. That is all.

Wonderful selection of produce and cheese. Hot plates to go with broad fresh selection. Very friendly staff. Lovely variety of higher end treats that quickly become commonplace in our home. Nice lunch or dinner spot for a picnic or full holiday dinner. Large variety of organic and gluten free items. Crust bakery items and in house yummy selection of eye and taste bud appealing goodies. Wine and beer coolers with extra love for non typical berries and barley. Easy entrance/exit from Woodward and spacious free parking. Beautiful plants and fresh flowers!

I love this market. Prices have been affected by the Pandemic, but quality of the food is still great

If you get past the cluster bomb that is the parking lot, the store itself is a solid 4.5 for quality and variety of produce, meats, and wines. The prepared food/deli counter moves along quite nicely and the contents are tasty. All in all a great option for your fresh food needs when cruising down Woodward.

I have nothing but good feelings for this location. Love it here! I drive miles to get here. The only comment I want to make is that I wish the hot food bar offered more options. But the staff are super nice and helpful . Very neat and clean!!!. Offer so many options for produce

Love this place. Everyone that works here is super nice and I like their mix of local food along with the deli.I could go to Trader Joe’s nearby but I like the selection of grocery, plants and deli items here better.

I went in to get a birthday cake for a friend. I couldnt decide because they all looked so good. I decided to get 4 slices of carrot cake, lemon berry, lemon cream and cookie dough.

Great selection of fresh produce. Meats. Fish. Cheese and plants!! If your cooking dinner they have it and if you dont want to cook dinner they got that too. Dont forget the beer and wine...and a wonderful dessert!!!Love this place. Oh and fresh flowers for the table!

They actually store the fruit in a cooler upon closing,keeping fruit looking and tasting excellent the following day. The staff in the deli department are excellent and always cut the deli meats and cheese to perfection

Much nicer then the one we go to in Dearborn! They took our Deli meats away with all the variety too! Now we have a slice of that..I mean a real small slice..The fruit is bountiful & lots of vegetables..meat & fish area about the same..nice store! Easy to get in & out off!

Very clean, great food at the deli, and they had seeded watermelon which the whole point of my trip to the market... Its so hard to find a seeded watermelon nowadays.. staff was helpful and friendly.. overall great market

This is our go to destination for many items consumed on our premises. Consistently has stargazer lillies in stock, and was able to deliver locally the same day. Staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. Recipient of our delivery was overwhelmed with delight!

Came for dinner, stayed for grocery shopping. The atmosphere is great, but the produce is a little high.

Been going to Westborn for 10+ years. Always clean, well stocked, and the employees are, usually friendly. Now, I may not shop for a lot, but they have the best produce, at reasonable prices.

Westborn is easily one of my favourite grocery stores. A little pricey but everything is good.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Westborn, but can you guys please change the rule back to being able to bring in your own bag for groceries. I can ladle in my own soup at the soup bar but still not allowed to bring in my own bag to carry home groceries. It does not make sense. I have always bagged my own groceries anyways. Hoping it will change soon.

Always super fresh produce, great meat, cheese, fish, wine selection. Wonderful plants, and lots of nice partially and fully prepared meals, gift baskets, and interesting new inventory being rotated in constantly. About 20-30% more expensive than standard grocery store for staples, so we typically treat it as our daily walk and grab a few choice pieces for dinner. Wonderful and unique market, so happy to have it close by.

I love Westborn, Royal Oak. The service, food quality and handling of edibles are exactly what I look for during this pandemic; gloves and mask. I only hope for consistency with stocking Gabbys Spicy Feista Bean Salad. It is absolutely delicious and equally disappointing when its not available. Stock it, sell it...

Fruits n veggies are stack so meticulously and all the bright colors on the fruits n veggies make u want to buy everything you see, even if you dont like eating some of them! I just stopped in to get bell.peppers n sweet onoins...I ended up spending $83!!

This place has so much stuff it almost seems like the store never ends lol but Id definitely recommend 👌🏼the staff was friendly and store was well stocked and clean the deli person was on top of washing hands and switching gloves. Cashier was really nice too and didnt make it seem like she was rushing thru just to get to the next customer. If this store wasnt so far from my house Id make it my go to market!

Let me start with how much I like westborn market (Berkley). The only problem that I have and have personally experienced is the lack of customer service at the fresh/deli and seafood counters. On two occasions (one being today) Ive been at the counters without being acknowledged by the employees working the counters and no one asking if they could help me.. On both occasions I walked away; only to hear may I help you. I turned to look who the employee was referring to. On both occasions it was a caucasian customer that the employee was speaking to. I mentioned this to the manager the first time; today I said nothing. What I decided to do is continue posting my experiences at Westborn (Berkley) and hopefully obtain employees names. I hope to see/experience a change in the future.

Great local market to stop by on your way home or your need staples for a few days. Meat counter is very helpful and always quick to get your order.

I dont mind paying a higher than a competition price, as long as I get a good value. Not the case there. Clerks are argumentative, unhelpful, skeptical and I have been overcharged a few times at the checkout. Some staff are very unprofessional ( we have been referred to as honeys and sweeties by the ladies throughout the store almost every time we visit ) Really degrading atmosphere.

Love the meatballs, mac and cheese, both seafood chicken salads, fruits, veggies , plants, flowers, wines, fresh meats & seafood, casual and elaborate desserts... I could go on. Very pleasant environment, clean, great customer service. Everything you could want from casual dining to event planning!

Best west side specialty store chain. Fruits and vegetables are always top quality though I have yet to be insane enough to pay $9.99 a pound for cherries.Deli counter is excellent. Prepared dinners are top quality. Highly recommend the salmon, brisket, chicken, ham, and shrimp. Side dishes are usually good, and often feature unusual recipes such as dishes from India and jamaica. When they have it, their prime rib is wonderful. And the mac and cheese is outstanding.As a plus, the portions are usually large enough for 2 meals.Their bakery and pastry counters should not be missed. They also sell individual slices of some of the best cake in town.The meat and fish departments are first quality. As well as their wine department.What I like best is the consistency of their food and the ever helpful staff. I have yet to be disappointed and I have been shopping there for over 10 years.

Everyone was nice! I asked a busy worker where the carrot juice, pineapple juice, and orange juice was; he stopped what he was doing, and took me to every item! The best part, it was absent of excessive huffing and attitude puffing!

Always a treat walking in dont live in the area but always make it a point to stop in the soups are phenomenal so is everything there the sweets the baked goods the cheese selection, love the place.

Everything is wonderful at this market but I particularly love the butcher shop - ok well the fresh cookies are the greatest too - regardless no negatives about this market it’s always busy and everything is the finest quality without being overpriced- will return again and again.

Ive always loved shopping at Westborn. Me and my dad and my son used to shop here every weekend. We went back today now my son is 20. it was just as great of an experience as it always has been. The store is completely clean and everything from the fruits to the vegetables to the plants and everything in between is all clean and fresh. The staff is very friendly and helpful all the time. Its just a beautiful experience to be in a store that is so botanically set up.

Wonderful 1st time experience! Staff was extremely helpful, attentive, and upbeat! The store was very well stocked with a great assortment of everyday and seasonal products. Their deli counter featured tabouli, sauteed vegetables, and roasted potatoes. Yummy!

Everyone very professional, items very fresh, ordered orange roughy fish appearance dry looking, needs to be rotated every so often, over all great market, keep up the good work.

Small market vibe with a nice selection of food and pantry items. The flowers and plants are excellent.

My rating is specific to their roasted coffee, bought a 1lb of Brazilian. Went to measure my beans and found a large piece of contamination which appears to be some form of plastic or maybe gum.Rest of the store is good, staff is polite and friendly. But stay FAR away from their in house roasted coffee.

A bit pricey but it is high end. I came here for calder dairy milk

Im in the hospital because after I specifically asked the woman behind the pastry counter about the Macarons if they had peanuts or not. She said yes. I then proceed to give them my daughters who are allergic to them. Only to end up in Beaumont hospital with a $1,500 bill.

It a fabulous place, with organic, specialty, homeade, and one of a kind goods. The prices are sometimes higher than what you would expect, but the quality of the products are very high also. There is a fresh meat counter, with very large cuts of meat, and seafood. A fresh bakery, and cheese hut, a full line deli with cooked items hot and cold. There is an extended section of local made and imported micro beers. Many different brands and flavors to choose from.

Why have fast food for dinner? You can grab way better carryout here!

The first time I stepped into Westborn Market I felt like I was on a vacation. The staff was friendly, the produce was radiant, and the store was inviting. I now continually do my shopping here and always will. They have a standard for their food that all stores should but I guess that is what makes them so special.
