Solid diner food with a wide selection and friendly staff. Cant ask for more than that from a local diner.Prices are very reasonable by Bay standards for good portions.Open early, which is nice. Almost nothing else in the area is!

A place where locals go to have breakfast or lunch. I had a chorizo breakfast burrito which they prepared quickly. I ate it in the Cafe and found it to be quite tasty and large enough to take home for another meal.

Food was overpriced and under seasoned. My grandpa always recommended this place so i thought id stop by and get brunch. The potatoes were simply fried, no salt or pepper added. The omelet was very much the same but the bacon balanced it out somewhat (along with some ketchup). My mother had the same problem with her dish. For 2 people it came out to $40. Not worth it

I love this place theyve got great breakfasts a little pricey but its worth it and the staff is the owner and his wife they really appreciate your patronage and they do a super job

Solid four stars. Reminds me of breakfast spots back home! Big portions for affordable (for the bay) prices. Food quality didnt blow me away, but there was plenty of it. Will definitely go again.

I’m dissatisfied. Broom was recommended by a friend. Hugh mistake I ordered a steak with country potatoes and eggs. The best part about the breakfast was the eggs. The food was not seasoned I had to use 6 salt packs to season the food. I requested for my steak to be cooked medium well welp once I recv it, it was well done. If I could give a half of star I would my first and last time eating at broom 🧹

They offer a great variety of fresh food. I loved eating here. The employees are always very nice, rates are reasonable and the spot is always kept clean.

The breakfast was very good I had a meat lovers omelet, grits a side of corned beef hash, pancakes with lemon hot syrup and butter. Also I had hot chocolate which was fantastic. Customer service was excellent because the food came very fast.

I just love this little Neighborhood Cafe for breakfast. Its a little dive place thats been around for years. If youre tired of trendy, hipster, overly expensive breakfast out, this is the place for you. A mostly black and African American regular clientele who are well-known by food servers. They do a lot of business, and delicious food is served quickly and in large portions. Its a great bargain for your money.

I try and come into broom bush every Sunday when Im on my lunch break and the staff is always so wonderful and nice and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this place to eat for any occasion. I look forward every week to get to come back here to eat and relax on my break.

This is an authentic modern version of the classic diner.They have one of the biggest and most varied breakfast menus around, and a good selection of lunch choices. Service is fast and friendly. The coffee isnt gourmet level, but its okay. (Once in a while the coffee is excellent—maybe the roasters just delivered it or something.)They serve eggs fried, scrambled, and in omelets—with a wide range of trimmings. If you want to substitute something lower-carb for bread and potatoes, you can get a good portion of steamed vegetables—where other places typically give you a couple of slices of tomato.Warning: If you dont specify the kind of cheese you want, sometimes (not always) they use process cheese instead of real cheese—so specify if that matters to you.Ive eaten there regularly for years, for the extensive menu, good food, and fast service—and friends that Ive recommended it to have later expressed gratitude.

Cozy neighborhood diner apparently operating since 1985. Friendly, attentive service. Broad menu of breakfast and lunch items. My veggie omelet was in fact full of veggies, though not especially flavorful. Rye toast was good, grits were OK (my bad for ordering them over potatoes, since grits dont do much for me anyway), and the coffee was nice and strong.

Ive been to this place with my Dad some years ago. Seems to have the same people working here. The food is good and fast, they have a good breakfast and Ox tail stew. A lot of the Older Generation frequent this place. You also get to ear hustle..

Foods good. Basic diner stuff but good. Service is fast. Actually really like how old the decor is. Its legitimately old...not rustic or artisnal but more of a if its not broke dont fix it kind of vibe. I recommend biscuts and gravy. Nice blast from the past diner vibes.

The best breakfast around my area. Ask for the broom bush breakfast special, comes with options( bacon or sausage, potatoes or grits) their house potatoes are pretty darn good. Plus they have great hot chocolate
