Great lil stop in Berkeley. Excellent taste and texture. Decent price point . Great customer service. Wide options . Only complaint and reason I am giving 4 out of 5 , was they forgot my added jalepenos on my bagel and my partners added capers.

First time in...got the plain toasted with low fat cream cheese. The cream cheese had an amazing flavor-one I have never had before. I also got two chicken kabobs for my daughters. They loved the intensity of the flavor.Support your local small business!!

I was in a rush so I called ahead to place my order and was told I could pick it up at 9:15. Upon arrival, I was unsure whether to wait in line or proceed to the counter inside since they have a limit on how many people can be inside due to COVID. So I called again to ask what they wanted me to do and was told to wait in line with everyone else. So for the next 25 minutes I waited and when I got inside the rude woman behind the counter told me it was MY FAULT for not just walking in despite me being told otherwise on the phone. She gave me cold bagels (because theyd been sitting on the counter for 25 minutes) and no sympathy.This was my favorite bagel shop in Berkeley but after the awful customer service I wont be coming back.My bagel wasnt even wrapped, it was just half-heartedly thrown into the bag. Thanks, Berkeley Bagels.

My husband and I love their bacon, egg, and pepper jack cheese breakfast bagels on everything or garlic bagels. We’re regulars here (my husband mostly) and they’re super nice every time!

A good menu with good prices - I had a bagel with cream cheese, lox, onion, and tomato and an iced coffee for 10.95 (before tip). Not much seating - three tables inside and two outside - but I had the place to myself because it during the week most people seem to take food to go. The staff was not particularly welcoming, but the service was pretty fast!

Do not do business with this place. They charge a 70 cents surcharge for using a debit or credit card. Way more than it costs them. RIP OFF.

Nice spot in a nice area. I had California on onion bagel. Wasnt too impressed felt it was missing seasoning. Next time Ill try a simpler one.

Berkeley Bagels sells delicious, fresh steamed bagels. We buy a bakers dozen, cut them in half and keep them in our freezer. They offer an extensive lunch menu, I only wish the seating area was bigger and remodeled. Sitting outside is nice.

I just ordered a double backed everything veggie bagel !!!! This had to be the worst bagel i have ever had ,ive never had runny cream cheese ,bagel was not toasted just awful ,ruined my morning seriously so disappointed 😞 how can you mess up a bagel ,so simple to make never ever going to establishmentAgain save your money

By far the best bagels in Berkeley if not the greater Bay Area. They taste like a bagel should and are boiled not baked. I really like this place. Very nice place to eat on a Sunday morning.

Went in for a sesame bagel. There were maybe 10 in the bin. As soon as I order some guy comes up and takes them all, with his un-gloved hand and declares someone else will only eat sesame bagels. I get stuck with a whole wheat sesame bagel that tastes like a**. I don’t ever need to come back.

Their bagels are decent, and their schmear servings are very generous. They struggle when there is a rush and their bagel sandwiches are a bit messy. Overall very nice.

One of the best places to get a real bagel in Berkeley. They have bagel sandwiches and great lunch options too (teriyaki skewers). There is indoor and outdoor seating and a nearby parking lot. The Ohlone Greenway is also nearby, so it makes for a great spot to stop on a walk or bike ride.
