He literally went over and beyond . I’m so happy and impressed with the level of professionalism and the customer service I received from Tom Bernknopf and the entire staff . Tire pressure dropped to 21lbs I called Tom he told me to bring it right in. They jacked the car up behind bay 2, repaired my tire, and had me on my way within 40 minutes. Staff are all polite and professional. Eat aervixe facility in the area!!!

The left strut on our Kia blew when we were about 2 hours from home. The guys at this Firestone had it fixed and we were back on the road in 2.5 hours. Professional and accommodating. We cant say enough good things about Tom, Brandon and crew.

These guys are great! I picked up a car and all the tires were low on air while looking for a gas station I saw the Firestone place and pulled in. The gentleman I spoke with was very kind and quickly put air in every tire without charge. I had to make the young man take a tip because he said that is what people do for each other.

Came in with a fast leaking tire on a Sunday afternoon with no appointment. Anthony fit my car in and was able to get all three tires I needed (which I had suspected) on and balanced before closing that day.

I heard brake noise and also got a low tire pressure light on my Mercedes first thing Monday morning. I had only a few hours time window because of an afternoon commitment. So I went to Firestone who was jam packed with other customers. Tom found a way to squeeze me in and got both my brakes and tires repaired. He got the job done a little early so I didnt have to rush to my appointment. The job was completed perfectly and the price was extremely fair. I would recommend anyone in the area to have your car serviced or tires replaced here with Tom.

Firestone on Springfield Ave in Berkeley Heights, NJ (Dan) has always delivered The best care I have seen around in my 38 years of driving. Daniel in particular is friendly, trustworthy and I gave him the highest rating as a customer service representative.

These guys are top of the line, I now know why my dads been going there years. Kyle was incredibly accommodating, Tom B (managing partner) went above and beyond and helped me setup a Firestone card same day. Even a few months back our Equinox had a power steering fluid noise, and they came out and topped it up in the parking lot for free. Weve had issues at Jiffy Lube and other places, but when you want the job done right, properly, and damn friendly and knowledgeable techs - take your car to Firestone Berkeley Heights. Went for an issue with my cars TPMS and it took three visits in three days for the problem to be fixed. I was told I would get a full refund if the problem persisted, which it did, so the refund was issued. Kyle was nice in offering that but after taking the car to a dealer it was found the problem was not fixed and that it was actually an issue with all four sensors and not two like Firestone said. Before going, know exactly what is wrong with your car and exactly what you need done and be 100% sure its fixed first try to avoid the hassle I endured.

The tire specialists were great at explaining the value I was getting by shopping at Firestone. They were patient and efficient. They even went out of there way to perform a courtesy check and tighten few bolts that I asked them about. Very nice experience. I will be sure to recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

I had a great experience when it came time to changing my auto battery here. I was greeted by Lord who gave me options of having the alternator tested and offered an interstate (big fan of this brand, they last forever) battery at a really reasonable price. Kenny was the tech who did the install literally in 15 minutes. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Service was fast, and staff was incredibly courteous.

I purchased lifetime wheel alignment package cost $180.Thinking..that’s the Wise choice.what I noticed, they unnecessarily tell you,need to fix this and that unnecessary because they want to make money... When I take my car for alignment after one week I notice it there is a problem in my car especially exhaust pipe or other... one of my friends told me he had the same problem, that made me realize,Just to warn you.don’t fall for they trick, you think you save some dollars but you end up paying 100% more,

Called the closest Firestone by me, in Brooklyn, was very unhappy with how the salesman answered my questions, didnt have tires that i was looking for in stock and no idea when he would, I liked certain tires and the price so I called the Firestone near my brothers house, so glad I did. I spoke to Lord, had the first tires I was looking for, told me about another style that were more expansive (here comes the up sell ) but with the rebate they were about the same price but a better tire. At the moment they were not in stock, but he could have them there in an hour which was about the same time as I had to travel to NJ After they were done installing them, he walked me through the invoice, what was covered and how to fill out the rebate. Before I left I looked over the car, popped the trunk and was pleased to see he put the donut back, locked it down and put the jack back the way it belonged.It was 5 star all around and I dot find that often.

Just ONCE I would like to bring the car in for service and NOT have additional costs. It seems to me that they have a large turnover rate with their staff. Just when you are comfortable with a technician he gets moved to another location. I go here because its convenient; do I trust them?

What I liked is that they didnt push for any extra services. They told my husband what the problem with our tires was without trying to hard sell us on top of the line fluff.

Worst place to consider in an emergency. Everywhere else closed and you have your own items or spare? Nope, you need to use their sourced items, which they probably mark up anyway. Do yourself a favor, and consider a local indie mechanic or gas station.

If you are looking for an HONEST & RELIABLE mechanic, this is the spot. This place is really under rated. Ive been using this firestone location for five years now. I started coming here because the location was close, but now ive moved further away and i still go out of my way to come here. Tom, the manager, is so patient and HONEST. Whenever I have an issue with my car, he makes sure to explain to me so that i understand the problem, how it happened and what i can do to prevent it. He makes sure I am up to date with my maintenances and gives me tips to prolong the life of my car. If they are not comfortable doing something to your vehicle, THEY WILL TELL YOU. Ive trusted these guys with my last two cars and i recommend my friends to them as well. Really great service from all of the guys there - they are all respectful. The prices for maintenance and repairs are fair, and they always have sales going on.

I had the most nightmarish experience at Firestone Berkeley Heights store. I visited to just get my tires replaced and Balancing done. Firstly, they did replace it but by mistake they swapped some other customers tires into mine. I revisited them and they fixed the issue. However, I started getting the TPMS warning once I left their store. Also, the wheel balancing and alignment was horrible. The car is moving towards right when kept straight. The story doesnt end here. Now, I am getting a Emission control check warning which makes me suspect some goof up from the Firestone mechanics as I see a difference in the running of my car.If you love your car avoid going to this place.

We live closeby so my husband always brought our car there for service. We had no issue before. However this time it really drove me crazy. I brought my car for routine maintenance in early September. They told me my car need to change brake shoe. After the work was done I drove home, my car was in our garage for two weeks since I was on vacation. When I get back I noticed the squeaky sound which I send my car back to them. However whatever they did make the noise louder. I send my car back to them again. This time they fixed it by replacing with new brake shoe. So far my card has no noise yet ( hope that will last). However two days after I took my car back, my husband told me one of the wheel cap is missing ( i only drove less than 4 miles in these two days and there was no pot holes on the road). Not happy about it.

Got a mount balance and an alignment. But my alignment now is worse then i when i set it myself! Car pulls hard right going striaght and the tires squeel when i turn.

I have been using Firestone since 2001 when I moved to the area-have always found them convenient, competent, affordable and fair. I use them for regular maintenance, tires, as well as emergency service on three different vehicles-old, new, sedan and suv.

Sat a hour waiting for oil change and filter changes. After a hour I went to see where the van was, it never moved. I wasted a hour sitting because they were short of help.

Tom, store manager always makes sure that my car is always running in tip top shape.
