They had a good selection of goods but was very rude. We got there on a Saturday about 4:50 pm. They did not close till 6:00 pm. It wasnt even 5 oclock yet. My brother in-law and Sister walked over to the Deli to check it out. As soon as they walked up to the Deli an Employee that was sweeping dropped the broom and ran to turn off the lights behind the deli. My sister then spoke up about getting something from the deli. The employee just walked off and said, Sorry, the deli just closed. My brother-in-law and sister just walked out. They did not look at anything else because of the way the employee acted. My wife asked for half of a pumpkin role and the employee huffed and acted upset that she had to get it for us. I work in customer service and I understand wanting to get out as fast as you can but when you close at 6 you closes at 6. Horrible customer service. I would give it a one star but it did have some good local stuff there. The pumpkin role was really good also.

I cannot express the elation when I find a true Amish store! I could have spent all day in there! I got a starter kit for bread and fresh deli sandwiches only the Amish can make....along with beet salad. I highly recommend this place when anyone stops in this quaint Kentucky town.

This was our first visit to an Amish store. They had some interesting products. The deli was good. I was a little disappointed in the interaction with the staff. They were not rude but just not as friendly as I thought they would be. Dont know that I need to go back.

Love, love, love this place! Every jam, jelly and pickled vegetable you can imagine. Wide variety of candies, baked goods, too, and a full function deli! The Amish chicken salad is some of the best Ive ever eaten. Theres also a large flower shop outside with fresh melons and citrus ... not sure if its affiliated with the store or not, but nice people there, as well. Great staff, polite and helpful. If youre passing through Berea, stop and give this place a try, you will definitely NOT be disappointed!

Lots of souvenirs, from handmade soaps to local products and even quilts. A bit more on the expensive side.

Very friendly staff. The pulled pork sandwich, Amish chicken salad sandwich, and potato salad were amazing. They have all kind of raw goods for cooking and baking. Not to mention they sell fresh bread. The derby pie is amazing!

Stopped on our way home during a road trip. The store was very cute. Had a variety of meats, cheese, candy etc. Very nice! Im so glad we stopped by. As well they sell handmade items that are very well made. I picked up a few pieces of jewelry. Would recommend visiting!

I have a disabling medical condition which already severely limits my life, and the woman who run this store tried to push dirty mask on me with her dirty hands, which I consider to be attempted assault if she came a bit closer, not to even mention ADA discrimination. These, I guess, are the type of people who will ask you to scan a QR code to enter, next. Also, the prices there were staggeringly high and the selection non-existent (didnt see what was advertised on photos). I buy in good, true Amish stores, run by good people, not tourist-oriented, at much better prices more West of that location, and never been harassed there, quite the opposite.

Wonderful food and products! From the first time my husband and son had a deli meal from there, a year ago, they did nothing but talk about it after. I myself finally got to see what the big deal was, and no, they were not exaggerating. Good, filling food (important to someone having to feed a 17 yr old in the throes of a growth spurt), the products for sale, from the jams to the hope chests *drooling*, they have you covered for Kentucky Proud items of quality. The staff was quite sweet and helpful. Most definitely will be a favored spot from now on!

I ate here at the Amish store today and let me tell you that I was very very disappointed in the food.i got a turkey sandwich, the bread was awful , hard and chips were so stale that I couldnt eat them... I had to eat the middle of my sandwich with my fingers and leave the bread... I will never eat here again. And the boy that took our order was so rude!!!!... dont waste your money here..

I give the Amish store one stars because the staff are very unfriendly. The sandwich’s are really good but I have never experienced such rudeness in my life! You would think we were a big crowd of obnoxious people the way they treated us. I worked in customer service so I know rough days are a thing but the lady at the register today just threw me my receipt and was very short as if I was aggravating her that I was there. I went there for a family brunch, I will not be back.

This is a great store to shop and find things you cant find anywhere else and the deli has high quality really good food. They do a great job of enforcing the mask mandate which keeps customers and staff safe. And they also offer attentive curbside services. People complaining of poor customer service are the same people who would protest to get a haircut during a pandemic, so yaknow learn to be courteous of others or stay home. 😁

Food was good but took forever to get it and expensive. Staff was rude and made rude comments to my husband that was very unprofessional. Will not go back. Definitely not what I was expecting and very disappointed.

Stopped with my family on a road trip...this is not an “Amish” store. Maybe Amish own it or something of the like (they definitely don’t work IN the store) but definitely not like the Amish stores in Ohio I’m used to. Lots of artificial ingredients in dry goods, ingredient lists are not accurate, and way overpriced. Not exactly the friendliest people I’ve ever come across when my mom had a few questions, either. I think “Old Town General Store” would’ve been more accurate.

Just drop by today an this is great. Yes the price might be high on stuth but remember folks, all this stuff is good Amish quality. Very friendly staff and good choices. Well be coming back many times.

I had a horrible experience. After all the years of that Ive been coming here with my family and my granddaughters. They know us here. Well the experience I had was because ARTHUR . I walked in and we all had masks on and we were in a line and ARTHUR yelled at me all the way to the back of the line to put on my mask.. I was so confused and extremely embarrassed. Because I did have my mask on . I didnt even know he was talking to me. Everybody was staring at me. I left with tears n humiliation. He looked pretty dirty with greasy hair..I will tell my guests that come to my hotel here in town exactly what happens . I am the person that always makes recommendations of where a good place to eat. Usually we were welcomed by the employees who know us there. Not that it will matter to you but I will never come back.

Very misleading name. Very few items are actually Amish and I mean hardly any authentic Amish items! Very disappointing to say the least! Wouldnt recommend this place if your looking for actual Amish wares.

The reason for the 1 star is because it was very misleading. The billboard we saw made us think this was a legitimate Amish store and it was farrrr from it. Even an employee admitted to us there was nothing Amish about it. It was a glorified gas station. Don’t bother.

Every time were in Berea we stop here this place is so cool so awesome my kids love it, I love it so does my wife, it has an old school feel oh, and the best food that Ive had in a long time.

Very delicious food. They have a great variety of food on their menuCooks here know to prepare and serve the food.Tables are cleaned as soon as guests leave. Food was prepared as ordered and was hot when served. Plenty of food was served and at right temperature. Left with our tummies full. Staff checked during meal to make sure everything was satisfactory. Meal prices were very economical. Ladies restroom was exceptionally clean.

Saw their sign while stopping for gas. Couldn’t decide on what to have for lunch since we were on the road for a few days and tired of fast food options. Glad we tried the Amish Store. We had the BBQ and Sweet and Smokey Sandwiches. Our family loved them!! Excellent choice for a quick bite and reasonable priced.

I was made to leave because i did not have a face mask even though i told them i had breathing issues. I have been in many places this is the only one dismissed me. I feel discriminated against

Very unique store with homemade Amish food, candy, cedarwood chests and cloths drying rack. The large chest which is about 3×2×2 1/2 is only $250. Anywhere else it would be $400. Their Deli is well stocked with assorted meats and cheeses. You can also get made to order sandwiches. Worth the time to visit since its right off I-75.

My friend delivered groceries here with Instacart. MOST of their stuff is NOT Amish made. Very misleading to public. Staff not that friendly either.

This place has the best value to stock up on spices. They have several unique things you will find as well as a great deli and even breakfast and lunch menu.

The farm fresh food is amazing. The people were super sweet. The little store was cute, but keep in mind their prices reflect handmade items, made from local American craftsmen. I got a super sweet banana and two peaches. They had a deli, but we werent quite ready for lunch. Hopefully we can stop by again one day for that.

We love eating here. The staff here are so friendly, they know our names when they see us, we eat here once a week! Great sandwiches! Great soups! Very clean. Highly recommend!
