What a fantastic gem! My wife and I stopped in after dropping the kids off at the haunted house nearby and found this place. The place looks brand new inside and out and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They had karaoke the night we were there and one of the bartenders had a phenomenal voice. The menu looked really good, but we only stopped for drinks. I wish this place were closer to my house.

They just spent big bucks on redoing the parking lot and entrance, and apparently adding a patio. Do you think they could they could make it handicap accessible? They didnt. I mean, as long as you are doing it, why not do it right? I thought the building codes required it? Food is okay, service is not.

Food came out a little slow. They were busy. Overall nice bar meal. Unfortunately they ran out of artichokes and crab legs. But the perch dinners were good. Clam chowder was very tasty.

This bar has been in Berea forever. New owner did a great job on the remodel its clean and upscale. The food is very good.
I have been going to Eastland Inn since my college days at B-W. It is still a go to favorite. Last night, family and I met for dinner. Always thought of EI as more of a burger/wings establishment. I ordered their spaghetti and meatballs on a whim. Wow! Delicious homemade sauce and 3 giant meatballs over Ohio City Pasta. It was absolutely sublime! Those homemade meatballs were the best I have ever eaten - just flavorful and delicious! I will never order anything else at EI again. Fun night, nice people, good music and delicious food!
This location is cozy, clean and the service was very good. This it where it ends. The food was sub par, drinks were beyond watered down and the prices were above average for what we received. She had the meatloaf which was very flat and without any flavor. I had a bowl of chili which I am pretty sure was Tuesdays meatloaf ground up and a ton of seasoning added to it to cover the week old taste. This food was so bad the Food Network would not even touch it for Restaurant 911 for fear that there is simply nothing that can be done.

The restaurant was not too busy when we came in but we were seated at a rickety high top next to the door. Food took about 40+ minutes and was terrible. Service was poor and we had to flag down a waitress to find out where our food was. I got a burger, which had clearly been cooked much earlier and been heated for service. I didn’t eat it because it tasted like gristle and was cold. Not a good experience, I won’t come back here to eat.

First time there...nice cozy place, employees r nice & work hard! Pricing was good, not hard on wallet. We, group of six, had such a great, FUN time playing Trivia! Food was really good...tacos, taco bowl especially! Small place, but if bigger would probably take away cozy atmosphere..We will DEFINITELY be back and do Trivia again, totally worth it! 👍
A middle of nowhere gem.
I would suggest to anyone thats not a local to make a reservation if your wanting to dine in house on a Saturday night its live band night and this tavern is hopping. The waitress was very kind and offered me a menu and apologized that seating was booked sadly I had to order take out yet I still got to take in the uniqueness of this tavern. The veggie quesadilla was amazing perfect amount of spice and there fish tacos perfect balance and house chips great crunch and complement to the fish tacos.
Reverse hot BBQ sauce on wings 😍😍 on Monday nights they have $5 pitchers and wings 👌

Came here for trivia night and had so much fun! Great food, daily specials prices are amazing too! Definitely recommend for a fun night out with friends.. but its small! So if theres an event Id recommend a reservation!
Not bad, not great. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. We had burgers and they were average as far bar burgers go. The fries had a slight fishy taste to them so the oil wasnt the freshest. I cant be a judge of any other food. Ive seen other comments about the prices being great. I dont understand that. The prices arent great, they are okay. Entree prices are adequate, appetizer prices are high. Overall if Im in the area and hungry I wouldnt avoid it, but Im also not driving out of my way to go back.

Good neighborhood bar. Typical bar food. A reasonable meal but many things are an extra charge. For example, if you want mayo on your burger they charge you. Service is great! Parking is skimpy.
Well I have to say this place is fantastic this people are very warm very nice to make you feel like home. Being a doctor I don’t drink but I do enjoy good food. It’s a hit or miss but the majority the food is the also entertainment, look up for their special events onlineI highly recommend this place
This place is the bomb! Their wing night on Mondays is amazing! The staff is super friendly & attentive. Went last Thursday for the burritos and nachos with my folks and was blown away by the taste and portions. there isnt enough stars to place on this review.
Went there Friday 7/17/20 for their fish fry. Discusting, the fish had been cooked before and then heated up so it tasted like leather. My husband got the fries which he said were ok, but I got 3 pierogies which were more money and they were burnt along with the onions. We used to love this place and would go there at least once a month with friends. Had tried it 6 months ago and the food was terrible then. My husband wanted to give them another try because he remembered how good the food was. Never again.

Live locally but never tried this place. Had high expectations since they have been around for a long time and reviews were good. Nice joint inside and service was attentive, but pretty much ends there. Mussel app came out with half the mussels still closed. When brought to the servers attention was told “yeah that happens “. Ultimately was still charged full price for half an appetizer. Food was average, steak on the surf and turf was grisly. My son ended up taking home and feeding it to the dog. Open face roast beef should have been called gravy and bread and the perch was soggy. To end they only have 10-12 tables and live music on Saturday, so we were actually asked how much longer we would be because they wanted the table for others that were coming in for the band. I can say we tried it, but won’t be back, I hope the appetizer and table was worth it.
Great food at great prices! We went on a Friday, so we missed the Wednesday night crableg special. My son had the deep bowl of mussels and spaghetti and I had the jumbo dinner salad with chicken added. Prompt friendly service, fresh food. This place is worth the search!
Stopped in with my family for the first time today. Atmosphere was great. Food and service incredible. Eating areas and restrooms very clean and tidy. Will definitely make this a regular dining destination for my family.

I had heard great things about this place so I was excited to try it. Good food but the place had an odd odor that was not appealing except to the fly that would not stay away. Service was okay. Small venue and climbing steps to get in doesnt make it great for those in wheelchairs. Overall, it was good not great, but I would probably try them again.

My husband is obsessed with their soup. They make one with ghost peppers he cant get enough of. The service is so nice and the cook is talented and creative.

This place is great! A charming little neighborhood jewel with a dynamic menu and plenty of spirits,zay you cant go wrong here. The service was exemplary, and the place is very clean. A lot of food was brought to our table and it was delicious. The menu is very reasonably priced, especially the daily specials.

Nice place. Great staff and excellent selection of food. My opinion is that the place is too small for bands, just makes them too loud. Great for a soloist or accoustic duo. Will be returning for daily special.

If you are ever going through Berea. Or if you live here. I really recommend giving the Eastland Inn a try. I have had dinner there and have been there later in the evening. Weekends and weekdays. But, every time i have gone. The staff is friendly. And the food is great! They make all their dinners from scratch. The fish fry is awesome! It may take a little longer. Since its fresh. But, it is well worth it. Homemade chili. It can get busy on the weekends. But, its a nice time.
My wife and I took our grandsons there to eat after a visit to the Browns training camp. The lunch was very I would return to to more often but for the distance. Better than the our meals was the server who gave our tired grandsons extra attention. She treated them more like family than just a customer. I wish we had more like her.She went the extra mile. So for great food at a fair price and outstanding service I recommend you to the Eastland Inn in Berea.
Decent beer selection, plenty of liquor. Food was good but took a little while to get. They had karaoke going on which was fun. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and has a nice neighborhood bar feel to it.

Awesome food. The loaded skins are a meal for three people. Great crowd at a place that has all the ingredients for a great time. The service is awesome and all around just a great place to go and relax. Some of the best times can be had here.
Eastland Inn is a fantastic place to come for dinner! We had the perch dinner and it was fabulous. Light and flakey. My husband had the pierogies and he loved them. Cooked with onions and tender. Wonderful atmosphere and good food what more could you ask!

Excellent food and drink specials, especially on Monday ($5 pitchers and $5.50 wings). Really good apps and homemade dessert. Bartenders/servers are really friendly, but theres only 2 working, most of the time, so sometimes they have trouble keeping up. Great place for both college students and adults.
Karoake night is always a great time here. Flash Gordon is awesome, and the place is real chill. It has a really nice atmosphere and is really clean, including the bathroom, which is always spotless!!
The food is great, very friendly service, and the best is...The music isnt so loud you need to yell at a person 2ft away, while eating lunch or dinner. Its very clean as well, and the owners really lighten up the place with new paint, floors, tables, etc... If you want to just have a drink and relax, this is the place as well. I havent been there for live music so I cant offer an opinion on that. Give it a try!

I love the Eastland I may be biased being born and raised in berea and Having worked at this bar for a few years in college. But nothing says Home like the Eastland inn. You wont have a bad time here. The food great for a hole in the wall bar the carry all kinds of beer from crafts to domestics at cheap prices! They have karaoke beer pong tournaments live bands and crowds of all ages. This is a place where everyone knows your name.

Food was good. Beer and drinks can never go wrong. Priced right. Great staff that knows your name after the 2nd time there. Shortcomings--on karaoke night you best know your song by title, probably 5k songs listed and not by artist. 11 singers, 9 made you gringe. Surprising for an off campus neighborhood bar. Will be back---different night though.

This place is fantastic! Ive driven by this place so many times and just expected it to be another bar, but its so much more. The food is out of this world and with so much variety and items to choose from its almost certain youll come back. The waitstaff and atmosphere is that of a homey local bar where a laugh and a good time is sure to be had.
We showed up late, but did not feel bad. The bartender (Rob) and staff made us feel welcome. We had a great time.
Best Perch Dinner in town! And the Bloody Marys are exceptional. You wont be disappointed. I highly recommend.
