Everyone is s friendly and cared about the care my husband and I received! They didnt even care that it took me an hour to pick out new frames. Plus they billed medicare for us! I am so grateful a friend recommended them!

Dr. Kosunick, Dr. Wiersma, and staff were nothing short of amazing. I was dealing with significant eye pain and I was able to be seen in less than 24 hours. The docs were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new eye doctor. You will not be disappointed!!

The experience from start to finish was superb! The second you walk into the office, you are made to feel welcome. Ally was friendly and extremely helpful, Dr. Scott thoroughly explained the results of the eye exam and answered all my questions. Finally, Lori was very knowledgeable and patient in assisting me with purchasing new glasses. I will not be going anywhere else for my eye care!

Having to give a one star review is really a shame in this instance. The staff is nice & the doctors are great BUT the communication is atrocious and has resulted in multiple issues. I have a difficult prescription, so I try to be flexible when dealing with my eye care but after Broadview bought out the practice I had been going to for years the issues have increased significantly. Most recently had to send in a pair of glasses for a scratch warranty on one lens. When the glasses came back they had modified both lenses by rolling the edges, which I did not ask for (and do not like). Now they are saying they can not fix that by getting new lenses for that frame, because it was a scratch warranty issue (even though THEY rolled the lens without my consent and messed them up). So now I have to get new glasses if I want the lenses to be back to non rolled edges... every time we talk to someone there it is like starting the whole explanation over, so clearly they dont bother noting down problems in their system & it seems like no one wants to take any ownership. It has been weeks of back and forth with their awful communication being the cause of the problems. The amount of headaches involved has really opened our eyes and we can not recommend them at all.Update 5/17/21 - in response to the comments made by the business: While I appreciate a business going above and beyond for customers, I dont see how taking someones property and making changes to it, without asking the customer first, is doing something as a courtesy. Additionally, I had picked up my new prescription glasses the same day I gave over my warranty needed pair, so the excuse that I didnt tell anyone that I didnt like the rolled edges makes zero sense. I hadnt had time with the rolled edges to know that yet! It seems there are multiple excuses given, instead of the business just owning up to making a mistake and, honestly, that is even more frustrating than the initial issue!!

Dr. Wiersma is awesome! This is the nicest place with the friendliest staff. They take their time, explain things in detail and actually care about their patients. I won’t go anywhere else now! Highly recommend!

Dr. Scott, her assistant Kelly, and the entire staff are professional, kind, and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about them. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at ease on your visit. On my last visit, I was wearing my last pair of contacts and Dr. Scott gave me an extra pair to have before my new order arrived. I told her that wasn’t necessary, but she insisted. She is a real class act and I hope anyone searching for an eye professional will schedule an appointment. You will be very pleased!

Great place with a professional and friendly staff

We tried Broad View Eye Center when they first moved to Berea. Its close to our home and we heard great reviews! From the reception staff to the Drs, we were not disappointed. My kids were put at ease, joked with, allowed to ask lots of questions. When it came time for my daughter to pick out frames, they secretly listened to my guidelines and then let her pick out what she wanted. She felt like a grown up! It was overall an excellent experience. Our family highly recommends Broad View Eye Center!

The entire process was terrific from making an appointment to the end selecting eyewear and confirming our insurance benefits and offering advice. Aly P was super friendly and welcoming right when we walked in the door. She was especially helpful with our 17-year old picking out her first pair of glasses. Dr. Wiersma was very warm and made us feel comfortable from the start. He was very thorough and explained everything in a way we could easily understand. As far as COVID protocols, we felt totally safe and appreciated them going beyond just a mask requirement with things like additional plexiglass, sanitizing every pair of glasses you touch, etc. I was very nervous changing eye care providers due to my insurance changing, but Im so glad we found them. You wont be disappointed, and if you are, then you must be impossible to please. ;)

This place feels extremely scammy. I prefer a less sales-driven optometrist. Im diabetic and went in for my annual diabetic eye exam and regular eye exam. For some reason, they claimed they could not do both the same day (related to insurance)... Ive never had this issue anywhere. After expressing this, suddenly they said they COULD do both at that visit. What gives? I said, Thanks, Ill take my business somewhere else. It just felt like I was being taken advantage of... I suspect there is an advantage to billing the insurance separately. Lots of these places are built on billing insurance companies and you as much as they can.

Broadview Eye Center in Berea was very clean, and the associate was very helpful in helping me pick out a new pair of eyeglasses. The whole process was quick and easy! Due to the current Covid situation, they require an appointment.

Ive had good experiences here. They have a fine team to address eyeglass fit issues, contacts for my aging eyes, and help with some changes in my eyesight. They communicate well by phone, text and email. Very easy to work with.

Dr. Kosunick and staff run an excellent practice. Theyre extremely accommodating and I get wonderful eye care. I had a concern about my eyes and less than an hour later I was in the office having it checked out. Its a very new office and all of their equipment is new as well. I highly recommend them!

I had to find a new eye doctor and did a little research online. Broad View Eye Center in Berea is less than a mile from my home. I was impressed from the moment I walked in their lobby. It was well designed and airy and I did not feel closed in. I was welcomed as soon as I came in the door. There seemed to be enough staff to care for people. Dr. Josie Kosunick was kind and knowledgeable. I had a very pleasant experience and will be referring them to my neighbors and friends.

Broadview Eye Center is a totally different experience than any other Dr visit that I have. First of all the environment is very welcoming and comfortable. For the past four years I have driven more than 40 minutes from the Eastside to visit one of Broad View Eye Cares locations. Their service is immpecable and clearly unmatched: personable, patient and professional staff, who all keep the wait time down to practically nonexistent. In all my 20+ years wearing glasses and contact and trying out so many optometrists in the process, my experience at their offices has never been a better fit.

This was a great experience! Everyone was patient and kind and knowledgeable. They had a large selection of frames.

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr Scott. If anyone else has ever felt the pain of a corneal abrasion you’ll understand when I say she saved my life! I’ve always been extremely happy with the team at Broadview Eye Center for our regular eye care and prescriptions, my entire family has gone there for years. I had no idea they kept a doctor on call at all times until I needed it. Not only was it a Sunday but also Father’s Day when I called their phone number! I was hoping to at least hear a recording recommending an urgicare location. I was shocked when I was immediately connected to Dr. Scott. When she said she could meet me in 30 minutes at the Berea location, I cried. She had me in and out if there, confirming the cut and calling cvs multiple times to be sure my RX was called in. She was kind and professional and relieved the worst pain I had ever felt. I will be recommending them everywhere and to everyone.

I was looking for a new eye Dr and was so glad I found this place. The reception area is very inviting and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. The process was seamless and they had a great variety of frames to choose from. I highly recommend this eye center.

I have seen Dr. Wiersma multiple times. I had problems with vision after getting a detached retina. Things were smaller seen through one eye than the other and the 2 eyes wouldnt focus together. Three other doctors had given me prescriptions that only made it worse. Dr. Wiersma. not only knew what to do, but worked with me through 3 prescription changes until we got the best possible vision...goid enough for me to drive again. Hes warm and pleasant and takes his time with patients. The office staff is also wonderful and helpful.

Theyve been the eye doctors for my family and me for years, but tonight is the first time Ive written a review, and Id give them 10 stars if I could. Got some debris stuck on my eyeball, and called the office but theyd already closed (Friday, after 4 PM). So I left a message for the doctor, and she called me back in about 3 minutes, advised me what to do when I got home, and then offered to meet me at 8 PM if I still needed help. WOW!!! Yes, I still needed help, so Dr S. met me at the office, worked on my eye for several minutes, located the problem, treated it, and provided me w eye drops to use overnight. And will only charge me the regular office visit fee, no emergency room visit costs, or after-hours fees -- just so compassionate, professional and accommodating. THANK YOU!!!

Broad View Eye Center is a provider on my insurance plan and it is close to my home. You can make an appt via their website, which I really liked, and I was able to get the time and date I wanted.The office is bright, open, and welcoming. I was greeted with a warm smile at the check in counter and was given paperwork to fill out. The seating area is comfortable and offers coffee for the customers.After turning in my paperwork I was greeted by Kelly who took me back to go over my history, etc., and then put in a room to wait for the Dr. I didnt have to wait but 60 seconds before Dr. Kosunick came in. I explained why I was there (vision exam & glasses), she asked a few questions and then proceeded with the exam. I knew right away that I could trust her, that she was listening to me, and is above and beyond knowledgeable about how to get the best results for me. My previous experience, that had left me so disappointed, was in large part due to a pair of computer/reading glasses I bought. Dr. Kosunick put all of my doubts to rest. She explained what she thought was best for me and then escorted me out to Natalie to shop for glasses.Natalie is a lot of fun and very helpful with frame picks. I felt comfortable asking what she thought about the different frames on my face. I know she was sincere in her opinions which goes a long way with me. She wasnt just saying what she thought I might want to hear, or to try and sell me on something I wasnt happy about. It was like shopping with a friend actually. After a process of elimination, I picked out two frames. One for everyday and one for my computer glasses. We went over what the lens options were and I ordered my glasses. I havent got them so I cant comment on that aspect yet. I have no doubts that they will do everything possible to make me happy.I loved my experience so much that I encouraged my wife to make an appt. She will see them next week!

I highly recommend Dr. Scott and Dr. Kosunick! At 33 I decided I wanted to try contacts. I just moved here and needed to find a place to go. After researching a few places I chose Broadview Eye Center in Berea. They were very patient with helping me find (and put in) contacts and glasses. I could tell they truly care about their patients and want to make sure everything is perfect for you. Their staff was absolutely wonderful, they greeted me by name and made me feel like they had known me for a long time. A few times I had to bring my 4 year old to the appointments and they made it fun for her so she didnt feel stuck in a doctors office. If you want to work with people who care about whats best for you then this is the place!

We went to Broad View Eye Centers new office in Berea and it is beautiful! Great location and Dr. Scott and her staff were great! I would definately recommend going here.

WentWin for my first eye exam and I wasnt thrilled. They werent clear about what was covered by insurance and what I actually needed. It was my first eye exam ever and I didnt know that I didnt need the Optomap screening. I had to ask the tech 3 times if she was going to poke my eye for the glacoma test before she gave me a straight answer. The frame selection was limited and boring. The new girl that helped me pick out frames was great and the doctor was great. Overall, they got it done but I wouldnt recommend anyone to go there.

I first used Broadview Eye Centers location in Broadview Heights. I was thrilled when they opened a Berea office. I have nothing but great things to say about the entire staff. Very professional and a welcoming enviornment.

Worst glasses Ive ever owned and most expensive pair I ever bought ! I asked for non scratch frames the best they had . Well they smear continuously dirty no matter what I do . They charged me extra when I had to go back after appt . Wont be going back .
