Unfortunately they didnt have any mens ballroom shoes, but the lady that helped me was very nice.

We were in town and came in because my daughter was needing shoes. What a great and fast experience. So many options for dance wear! Christy and Kristina were so welcoming and helpful! Kristina got my daughter fitted right away and was so patient and friendly. We were in and out quickly but got exactly what we needed. Definitely recommend stopping in to get ready for dance season and for your needs throughout the year! Even though we don’t live near by, we will be ordering from here in the future as well!

Frustrated. The hours state open until 6 online. Ive been to the store three times now each time at least 15 min or more before close and the store is locked and lights are out. If close times have changed please post them... Ive wasted 1.5 hours of my time driving back and forth. Not everyone has the luxury of coming to your store in the middle of the day.

Wow! What a selection. We happened across this store while on vacation and decided to go ahead and have daughter fit for pointe shoes for her fall classes (we’re from Louisiana) and we were so impressed!Christy is an excellent, very patient fitter. Explained the whole process to us. Shoes were kind of expensive but we were prepared for that, per her teacher.The store is decorated so cute and has a ton of inventory and great selection. She ordered online last time and nothing fit- so we will definitely be back when in the area!

We came to buy tap shoes for my daughter. The girl who helped us made sure the shoes fit correctly and she was friendly. We have bought dance shoes from this store twice before. We also had good experiences then. We will be returning.

I really wanted to like this store because both of my daughters are dancers and this store is locally owned (support small businesses), they have a large inventory, and its conveniently located. BUT, not so much... My oldest daughter recently went in for pointe shoes and what a mess! First, the store is very dirty and needs to be cleaned, badly. The shoe and fitting area smell so atrocious; the smell is disgusting. The whole store just has a feel of not being well-cared - the place feels like an afterthought. So we purchased pointe shoes for $100. The fitting or brand of shoe was apparently an issue because my daughter was unable to dance in the shoes, she has huge blisters, and the shoes are very painful. We politely called them and explained the issues we were having. The fitter, unenthusiasticly, agreed for us to come back to the store and try some different shoes but much to my surprise, it was explained to us that we would incur the cost if she found other shoes that fit her better OR wed receive store credit. I was confused by the first option, because isnt it the fitters responsibility to make sure the shoes fits and if they dont fit, why do I have to pay double the expense for the fitters mistake? But we went back in and tried about 30 pairs on; none of them worked, and my daughter decided to stay with her initial pair of shoes. She tried to dance in them once more and her teacher at her studio was appalled at the gross fitting job. So my daughters teacher recommended we make an appointment in Little Rock or Tulsa with a certified fitter who knows how to actually fit the size and specific brand to her foot. When I called The Red Shoe back a second time to take them up ON THEIR OWN OFFER of receiving store credit, the fitter answered the phone again. She was very rude and hung up on me when I politely explained what I wanted. A short time later, the owner called me. From the moment the phone call started, she was extremely belligerent. She was shouting through the phone that ...they are the best, their fitter has been fitting for 20 years... I couldnt get a word in because she was screaming and shouting. Finally, when I was able to explain that I wasnt asking for a refund, though I felt that would be appropriate since the mistake was apparently their mistake, and that Id be happy with store credit, she once again started screaming and shouting to the point that Im not even sure the words coming out of her mouth were coherent - then she hung up on me. Wont be back... As you can see in the photo, the shoe clearly doesnt fit even after the second fitting.

I’ve been coming to the store for the past four years now, and have bought at least 50 different outfits from them. They have a large variety of dance and gymnastics wear and they’re super cute too!
