I called and scheduled an appointment to get my Viking Grill fixed. They gave me a date of Oct 27th two weeks out and I agreed to it. They stated there would be a $125 trip fee since it was far away. I agreed to to it. They called the day before the appointment to say I was misquoted and now its a $175 trip charge. I explained you gave me the price before and now trying to bump me. The reason was poor training on the original person that Im assuming she trained. I cancelled appointment based upon dishonesty. Could of been easily a $500 fix but they wanted to bump me $50 what stupidity. Step over a dollar to pickup a penny.

I have many Viking products in kitchen. It’s not easy to find a good service for Viking. The technician , Ryan is very professional and friendly. I am very happy with his service. Thank you!

Jeff was here today to service my GE Cafe dishwasher and fridge. He earned 5+ stars for calling ahead for appliance model numbers and my description of problems, for arriving with the parts necessary to fix the problems, and for giving me advice to prevent dishwasher problem from recurring.I appreciate his expertise!

I called Lakeview to repair my Zephyr beverage cooler located in Sanford, FL. They were responsive and dispatched a tech within a couple days. The tech came out, was punctual and diagnosed the problem quickly. They had to order a part, and when the part arrived the tech, Greg, promptly came back and installed. Their customer service was fantastic. I thought it was a bit pricey for the labor rate, but they were the great with the repair and customer service. I recommend them.

Came for service on 3rd December and it’s been over 2 months - they charged for visit but no call back on repair schedule. Called them and asked for a manager, ended up in someone’s voicemail with no name.. still waiting. Hope I didn’t loose my money.. imagine your fridge being out of service for 2 months.. luckily have one spare in garage

These wire are from my viking stove that was repaired ( under warranty needed to replace circuit board ) by Lakeview Appliance knowing my stove was now out of warranty i decided to find out why the self clean would not work, after taking off the front cover ( which they had to take off to replace board ) i found improperly place wires that were shorting out the circuit board (you can see the burn mark next to the red switch and the pinched wires ) called viking and they refereed me to call lakeview who said to me that they had no record of the service call called viking back and they called lakeview which declined to stand behind their obviously poor work long story short I fixed it my self. So much for good customer service

Previous company sent by Bosch broke dishwasher from having untrained service technician. These guys fixed their incompetence in 45 minutes. Highly knowledgeable technician and could text about appointments. Good work

Unfortunately, the ONE STAR reviews on Yelp and Google are accurate.Three weeks ago, I scheduled Lakeview Appliance to repair my Viking range. While my appointment was set for 11-2 PM, the tech showed up at 4:00 PM with little explanation, nor a “thanks for waiting” or “sorry we are so late.” While this would be enough to gripe about, it would not motivate me to write a review. Like many other reviewers, my issue is with their billing practices.Lakeview charged me $365 for thirty minutes of labor. When I contacted management, (thinking that there had to be a mistake), they advised me that “Much like any high-end product (Mercedes, Ferrari, Rolex, Patek) repairs can get costly very quickly.” Lakeview explained to me that they use what they call “flat rate” billing. That it doesn’t matter how much time the job takes, but rather their rate takes into account “time of job”, (not really), “experience needed,” (I guess it would have been cheaper had they sent a technician who had no experience?), and any “licensing”(huh?).Next time I will use ABT in Glenview, who had advised me that their fee is $219 for the same work. Be warned. Lakeview Appliance is ridiculously expensive for an authorized service center. Call anybody else.

We bought a Dishwasher from them and had someone come out and install it. We found out we needed a new electrical line and the tech did it with no problem at all and didnt give us an outrageous charge either. We would definitely use them again for our next appliance purchase!!

This company is a disaster. After 4 attempts at repairing the ice maker in our Thermador freezer, it still doesnt work. The tech is clearly incompetent. On the second visit to our home, he installed a brand new ice maker and didnt turn it on. Third visit, he turned it on. Fourth visit, he installed another new one, and Im pretty sure he didnt turn it on again. So were now on our fifth service call. I asked for a refund and they refuse to give it to me. At this point, Ill call them back 100 times if thats what it takes.

First a comparison. A local Milwaukee shop failed to show for 4 appointments in a row. Yes, Im slow on the uptake but after the fourth no show I said Ill call someone who wants my money.Lakeview had the part in stock so I didnt need to wait a week as with the other guys. They got in two days before the scheduled appointment and fixed the oven. There was a time crunch because the repair was part of a house sale contract and the closing deadline was coming up. Not helped by the delay from the first guys but Lakeviews fast response made things copacetic.Second, the local guys quoted $800 for the total repair. They insisted it takes two guys to move the large oven (I can slide it out by myself since its on a smooth wood floor) and two hours to replace one oven temp control. Even with the trip charge to Milwaukee, it cost me $510 for Lakeview to fix it. Evidently, Lakeview doesnt overcharge as part of normal business.

I would highly recommend Lakeview Appliance Service. They have done a stellar job by all account. Service was prompt and sourcing of parts was expeditious allowing us to get a very critical matter resolved in a very timely Fashion. Their Technician Johnathon servicing the Austin TX. area was a consummate professional every step of the way.Casey LanganConstruction SuperintendentAlbanese Custom Homes

Absolutely awful service. Going on 6 weeks of no dishwasher. We are forced to use this company through our warranty and are extremely frustrated in having to use them. Every time they order a part it takes a week to come in and then they can’t seem to fit us in the schedule for another 1-2 weeks. 6 weeks later we still don’t have a working dishwasher as they can’t seem to properly diagnose the problem. I would never recommend them.

Had a technician out to fix our refrigerator. While he got it working in about a half hour the labor was about $200 plus they charged me another $200 for a part that I found elsewhere (afterwords) for about $90. Got the job done but charge a ton. When I called to question the part pricing they basically told me tough luck thats what they charge. Wont be using them again

Avoid this company. Delivered a replacement fridge. Delivery guys broke both doors on fridge. Sent email to Vernon Schmidt and have not received reply. If your thinking of buying appliances use ABT. They have better customer service.

Be Very Aware! For those who still think the honorable Young family runs this appliance firm. THEY DON’T!! A Texas Firm bought them and uses their name and goodwill minus the hard-won integrity earned by decades of honest dealing with those who they share community with. Here is how they —Lakeview Service (aka Youngs) works. Call them up and an auto charge of $79 is charged for coming out to diagnose. They tell you it is a one-time charge and not charged when tech comes out for repair. WHAT THEY DON’T SAY IS it is $98 + for labor on 2nd visit. THIS COMPANY IS SLICK and DISHONEST. They then go online from your home or biz to see about parts availability none of which they have in their truck. The truck is a mobile office not a repair truck!! This is done purposefully and part of the business plan which has them having to come out a 2nd time. The tech that came out replaced a standard $20 part that took 10 mins. The labor charge for a snap on part was $98. I paid $177 to have a $20 snap on part replaced. I called asking how they justify $98 labor for repair of standard part. Their answer was the part has an associated labor code set by corporate that also factors in the experience of the technician onsite. The labor rate DOES NOT FACTOR in time spent on repair or difficulty of repair. Labor rate is based on experience of technician and a b.s. labor code set by the company. When tech calls your phone to set up visit, you will see it has a Texas Area Code. That is your signal that THIS IS NOT A FAMILY RUN COMPANY with a legacy of goodwill. Don’t let yourself or your family’s hard-earned money get scammed by this company who uses the Young family name as a front for a Texas-based venture capitalist firm.

Spoke with Jared Houseman on 10/23/18 to schedule an appointment to fix a broken Thermadore Owen. Jared assured me that Lakeview Appliance Services is a Thermadore authorized Repair Facility. I called Thermadore Corporate Office to confirm and they were. Jared quoted me $125 for trip charge and labor plus parts on a recorded phone line. Jared also told me that no technician was available for 2 weeks which was very inconvenient for me. When the technician, Fred Troncoso, finally showed up 2 weeks later he could not identify the cause of failure nor find the broken part so Fred decided to replace the entire Control Board which Fred did not have in his Truck. Fred told me the Control Board will cost around $100. I called Jared Houseman right after Fred left, left a voicemail, send an email, and did not receive a call back or an email response for 3 days. Jared told me it will take another 2 weeks for the Control Board to come in and for Fred to find time to come back and install the new Control Board. Jared assured me on a recorded phone line that I will only be responsible for the Control Board part cost and will not have to pay any additional labor since I already paid $125. When Fred showed up 2 weeks later, he swapped out the old Control Board for a new Control Board, a process that took no more than 15 minutes of his time. Lakeview Appliance Services then automatically billed my credit card $316 for the Control Board instead of the $100 that I was quoted by Fred, and billed me an additional $220 for 15 minutes of Labor even though I was specifically told by Jared on a recorded phone line that I will not have to pay any additional labor since I already paid $125. When I called Jared’s supervisor to complain about the $700 bill, he told me there is absolutely nothing he can do for me and I should be happy that the Oven was fixed. Please avoid this company, they will overcharge you, they are unprofessional, incompetent and cannot be trusted. I would give Lakeview Appliance Services 0 stars if that was an option.
