Ive had a corn allergy for years, but now weve added wheat, dairy, eggs, oat, yeast and almonds and turkey, whos allergic to turkey? Oy, I felt like I would be limited to plain rice cakes and ice cubes, but Hannafords has a great selection of foods that I could eat, and by foods Im talking sides because thankfully other meats are ok, at a reasonable price. The store is clean, organized nicely, and the aisles are wide. The staff was helpful and in the case of our cashier hysterical. I love having a local store that I can get safe to me foods, yay.

Havent been in there for some time.. stopped in to grab chef salad for lunch. Not very appetizing. Crammed into a too small container, even though it said it was packed that day it was almost like it had been in there for a few days. I was very disappointed. Otherwise, the cashiers were very polite and friendly.

This is my favorite grocery store in Bennington. It doesnt have the best prices. The store brands are not great. There is no sushi bar or in house eatery. What you do get is slightly wider aisles, less clutter, fewer people and a much more laid back atmosphere. The store is very clean. There is a great selection of slightly higher end as well as locally produced products. Service is great. The layout is more open, well lit and traditional. This store caters to those who will pay a little more for a relaxed, dignified shopping experience. You want to run in and grab a couple items without having to dodge through the teeming masses? Hannaford. You want to saunter leisurely through the aisles and nod politely to your fellow shoppers while you do your weekly shopping? Hannaford. Also, they have just added order and pick up service, in case you really just dont want to deal with anyone at all.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great deals on everything even a section in meat that has low prices. Love the deli and bakery is delicious. Can find everything you need and its not always over crowded like other stores.

We shop here a lot. Best prices on meat, if you shop the sales, and we like their fresh veggies and fruit. Their bakery bread is not fantastic, but pretty good. No Boars Head deli meat, though. Other than that, they have everything we want.

Its a fine store. The layout is different from what Im used to for a Hannafords, but it gets the job done.

Hannaford Supermarket is easy to get around in with broad aisles. Selection is very good. My granddaughter always asks me to bring back a pumpkin muffin. Hubby likes the cranberry-orange muffins. Other bakery items are equally good. I do not have to bag my own groceries here, and employees are exceptionally helpful and courteous.

Good prices good food good people fresh produce fresh seafood what else do you want from the store freshness and plenty of it. But dont ask to have your cold cuts or cheese sliced a certain way because they do not follow orders check what they give you before you leave the counter because we asked for boiled ham they gave us a boiled ham and it was almost $12 a pound we did not want that we wanted boiled ham 4:99 a pound.

Generally carry whatever I want/need at a competitive price. Most items are in an area that you would expect them to be in, unlike some other stores. I would shop here more if I remembered it, but because its set back and its very easy to just pass by without thinking about it. The sign doesnt really help because of its size, and the surroundings. I really wish I could remember this store more. The location isnt a benefit either - being across the road from a dealership and Home Depot, which also is distracting from and taking away from the store and its location.

Always good quality products. Less selection than some stores and sometimes products are out of stock. Super nice staff and store, clean and well layed out. Prices are sometimes less than other store in town. Not a fan of their new rewards program.

Loved it everything looked fresh and delicious

We stopped in here while visiting the lovely town Bennington during our fall foliage trip through New England. As a typical grocery store and was is expected this store did not fail to please. Everything you would expect was here, from fresh meats, fruits and vegetables. We were looking for stuff to take back to our limited hotel room and we ended up with Marble Cake, Sushi chips. milk, Fig Newtons, French Onion Dip, of course a 12 pack of Labatts and caramel fudge for the Mrs. Total bill was $ 51. At the supermarket in The Butcher Shop Alex the butcher was very helpful for my wife and I we were entertaining and he specially cut chicken breast to way we like it very good employee there in Bennington

Love the staff at Hannaford everyone is so helpful and friendly makes it seem less like a chain. The bakery is affordable and does beautiful cakes and cupcakes. The store is also always clean which is something I value. The pharmacy staff is super helpful and I love that it has a drive thru.

A good quality grocery, with friendly, competent staff. One frustration is that they will regularly discontinue items, I guess in response to patterns in customer demand. Still, my go-to for regular shopping.

This Hannaford in Bennington is head and shoulders above any of the supermarkets in Jacksonville, FL, where I moved from. Seafood is especially good, and produce, too. I like that they carry and showcase locally produced products, and the service is very friendly. Watch out Publix if Hannaford ever decides to more into Florida!

With three major grocery stores in town, Hannaford is the clear winner. Where they really stand out is in customer service and employee attitude, especially compared to Price chopper or Walmart. The fact that employee turnover is extremely low shows that management treats them well. Their prices are competitive or lower than the competition , although they do lose out in the produce department to Price chopper.
