First of all, this wonderful shop is located in a cool area...this historical Arsenal district. So it was easy to get to, and a really nice place.Second, they diagnosed the issue in about 5 minutes (previous mechanic put the parts back on incorrectly after an oil change...ugh).The guys were so friendly and helpful. I will never take my Mercedes anywhere else to have service. This place is professional, clean, and I could tell immediately they are absolute experts...they know what they’re doing and will take care of your car in expert fashion. They even showed me the parts in my car and what was happening. At most professional dealerships, I feel like just a number. At this place, I felt like they treat you with respect.This is the place to get your European car serviced!

If you have a Mercedes with a problem you need to take it to Star Motors. Toni and Lucas are very friendly, honest, and professional. I havent had a lot of dealings with mechanics in the past but i have heard a lot of horror stories. Star Motors is the only place ill be taking my Mercedes from now on if i have a problem. I just went online to get Tonis contact information for a friend who just purchased a new to her used Mercedes. I noticed there are only 6 reviews here for Starr motors and I figured I would add to the list.Toni has serviced 3 of my Mercedes cars since 2005. I would and do recommend he and his shop to anyone owning a Mercedes. Toni is the type of person I would trust dropping the car off with and asking him to do what he thinks best knowing he does quality work at a fair price.

I will never go anywhere else again! Toni helped turn what was an unexpected break down (never a good time) where the dealership wanted $2800 to do the work to repair. Finally after being so discourage from the quote I called Toni and he did ALL the same work for a fraction of the cost! He was able to get me in and had all the parts needed to repair and get my baby back on the road again! She has never ran better. I cannot thank him enough and I am actually so excited to have a NEW respectable, professional shop I can go to and know I will be well taken care of and NOT taken advantage of, especially since I am a woman! I bought a 1999 500 SL in 2005 and for 1 year I had it serviced at the dealership in Contra Costa $$$$$. I then was having it serviced along w/ another vehicle at Sharp Automotive in Benicia. One of the Sharp staff recommended Star Motors for the Mercedes and I have been there ever since. I have received some of the best service I have ever had from an auto repair shop from Star Motors and highly recommend them. They do excellent work, reasonable rates and they back what they fix and most of all their honest. Nobody else has touched my Mercedes since I moved to them in 2007. I still have the Mercedes and if runs like a charm.

Im not sure exactly why, but I trust Toni a 100% with my vehicle. Havent had any issues in 3 years.He is like a retired F1 mechanic, who takes care of our cars out of boredom.

I have lived in Benicia for many years and my wife loves MBZ cars. She is on her second one.
