Weve had Overhead Door service our garage doors at two different homes over many years. They always to an excellent job of making sure our doors are running in tip-top shape. I never feel over-charged, just well served. Highly recommended.

I called to schedule a tech to come out and diagnose a door opener not working. I suspected the ground sensors were not functioning being one was flashing red. They made a couple simple suggestions and remedies that I could try and low and behold they worked. Very impressed with the honesty in this company for doing that. They could of sent a tech out and charged me for a minimum of a service call, but instead the chose to be the top notch outfit that they are. When companies shine through and show true colors like honesty, integrity, workmanship, and fairness they get my business every time. In the future I will not call for quotes or prices, they will get my business regardless because they earned it. Thank you for being great!

We had Overhead Door out not more than 2 weeks ago and now they are back here again because our door suddenly stopped working. They performed general maintenance last time, and now we’ve got a broken spring after living here for 3 years without a problem.I am sympathetic that this could be the mother of all coincidences, but the service tech’s manager would not even consider crediting a portion of the service fee from last time.Right now, it just looks like the tech came out, broke our door, and is now back for more. I’m surprised at the lack of understanding and how bad this looks for OD.

I just had Overhead Door come and repair a broken garage door spring. Nolan, now the company manager first installed my opener in November 2007. I called Nolan who quickly accessed my needs and scheduled an appoint for today between 10:00 and 12:00. Robert (Installer/Technician) who has worked at Overhead Door for seven years arrived at approx 10:05. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He quickly accessed the problem and had the springs replaced on my double door within an hour. The repair also included a complete service to include: adjust spring tension, check cables, check hinges, check rollers, lubricate all moving parts, check weather-seal and weather-strip, adjust lock, test safety reverse, check limit switches, check wall button function, check transmitters and provide other recommendations. The end result was two southern facing heavy wooden garage doors (one double and one single car door) that open soooo much smoother and quieter. The doors actually close easier as well because Robert adjusted the tension so the doors close softly instead of slamming closed. Final comment: I’m a retired Navy SEAL Commander (Disabled Vet) here in Bend, OR and assure you I don’t provide glowing comments as depicted above, unless warranted. Robert provided superior Maintenance, Repair and Customer Service. Give Nolan a call. I promise your won’t be disappointed with their service or pricing.

I am using my spouses google account to share my experience…This is a bait-and-switch company. Watch out!I called James and Nolan to get an estimate for 2 single car garage door spring kits installed on doors that were already in place and functioning. Pretty simple job. After James worked up the estimate, he left me a voicemail telling me that it would be $484 to have both kits installed. Sounded fair to me. An hour after scheduling the install, I thought I had better ask for a written estimate emailed, as everyone tells you to do. After receiving the written email estimate, surprisingly, the job amount went up to $568. Which is $84 more than the voicemail I was just told earlier? I called back to question the up-charge?Nolan informed me that James left out 2 of the 4 springs required to make up a 2-car garage spring kit. That didn’t bode well with me. This is questionably one of the easiest, smallest jobs they could have had! I would hate to see what the calculation/error mistakes would have been for a higher end 6+ car garage installed. They had no interest in honoring the original price quote. I won’t be using them for anything, ever.

After calling repeatedly and be told someone would get back to me I can’t do business with a company that won’t even return your calls before we get started doing my project

These guys are great ! Just had them out for the 3rd time over the years. They were quick to save me from what was a highly inconvenient circumstance to say the least, due to a garage door spring failure . (Work truck stuck inside my garage). Robert was obviously very skilled and efficient with his work ! They came out shortly after I called ! He put in a temporary clamp that buys me time till they can order the springs I need . Very reasonable charge for a emergency service call !! Highly Recommend ! Consistently Great !

James McTear came out to correct a problem that had possibly been made worse when I called Genie and followed their directions for repair over the phone. There is nothing like getting help from someone who has personal experience dealing with directly with such problems, especially when that person is a good communicator. The price of labor was low compared to what I would have had to do on my own to install a new logic board and reprogram everything. As well, he tightened the links on the cable moving the door up and down so it no longer sounded like Marleys ghost approaching my door. Much appreciated!

I went in for advice on whether my garage door lift system needed replaced or just the remote. After consulting with two of the employees, they assured me it was most likely just the remote and sold me a new one. 1 month later I am still very happy with the service, the remote is working like a dream and Im glad I do not have replace the entire system.

Just had 2 new garage doors installed by Mike at Overhead doors. I asked if I could help with the install and see how the pros do it and Mike said lets do it. I had a swell time ripping off the old doors and bolting in some new ones. The installation technique I requested was unique and Mike gave me some extra parts free of charge! A couple days later I noticed that the main bottom seal on one of the doors was pinched and letting lots of air flow through. I talked to Rich, who I believe is the owner, and he sent Mike back over that day. Mike looked at it, went back to the shop, then came back a 1/2 hour later with a brand new seal. Im happy! Thanks fellas.

Came out to fix my garage door that wasnt opening. The overhead door guy grabed a ladder and looked at the motor and came off the ladder with a large pice of pastic that he said had broken off and i need a new system because my system was broken and to old to fix. When i looked up there were no additional pieces broken off. So i called Broken Top Garage Door Company and asked them for a second opion. The service person was able to come out same day and suggested the belt was too loose and not catching. Once the the belt was tightened the door was opening again without problem. Hghly recommend Broken Top Garage Door. My garage door is now working fine and turns out it wasnt broken at all. Would not recommend Overhead Garage Door .

Some 70 year old hack eating his lunch listening to my convo with another tech felt the need to involve himself and call me an idiot, said i would “end up in the hospital” like all the other idiots who watch a YouTube tutorial on fixing something. Highly inappropriate, highly unprofessional, and shows the type of shared values employees and owners have here.
