We recently ate dinner at Planted Cafe and we had some of the best food we have had since moving to Bend. The new menu is fresh, seasonal, and organic. The Tomato and Peach Salad with Hazelnut Pesto was a beautiful start to our dinner. The tomatoes come from a local farmer as does the greens and many other vegetables on the Planted menu. The Summer Squash Soup was so beautifully executed with flavors of fresh dill and yogurt that we couldnt get enough. We finished off the meal with a homemade lemon tart that had hints of coconut throughout the crust. Amazing doesnt even describe the amount of love the chef and owners put into the food!I worked in the restaurant industry for about 20 years in casual fine dining establishments with very high quality food in Washington DC. I love clean, organic ingredients that promote well-being for myself and the community. Well done Planted! Thank you for being part of the change!

Plantd Cafe has a great thing going! I usually drop in for coffee and a home-made paleo bar but I had time to enjoy lunch today. Simply amazing! Incredibly delicious and flavorful food. I spoke with the chef about their ingredients and sourcing - they put nothing but love in their dishes. Better yet, the customer service is exceptional and the outdoor patio is very nice. Ill definitely be dropping by more often. Take Root!

Im on a strict elimination diet and travel often for work. Lets just say eating out is not easy. I always search out a gluten free bakery when in a new town. Typically, I dont find anything worth a review. But, this place was excellent. I had the blueberry scone - super yummy, the chocolate chip cookie - dont know how they make a soft, chewy cookie with gluten free flours, and the donut - which Im saving. If you have food allergies or intolerance, this is a great place to dine.

Its a solid idea they have going. I do miss Fearless Bakery being here, but overall Im willing to give this place a shot. The food is good so definitely give it a try

My wife and I LOVED our experience at Plantd Cafe. We had the vegetable curry, the dumplings and the wild mushroom dish. My wife is a dumpling expert and she was really impressed by these. The staff was courteous and friendly. The food presentation was lovely, like out of a magazine. Check this place OUT!!!

Pretty tasty! Really enjoyed the to go salad. I really wanted to like the baked goods but there were only a couple vegan options and I cant say I was in love, although I did eat every last bit.

Super cute cafe with great healthy food options! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for delicious healthy tea/coffee drinks and good food that leaves you feeling nourished. Looking forward to coming back again!

A lot of gluten-free, vegan, organic food, soup and baked goods options. My son loves the Market Wrap with a gluten free wrap. I love the turmeric latte.

New to Bend, they took over the space previously occupied by Fearless Baking and are looking to make a big splash in this specialty market. They offer some amazing breakfast and lunch options with ample seating space in a fresh/clean atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend you check them out!

Extremely BLAND food. I dont cook for a living, but places like this make you think anyone could be a chef.$12 smoothies, $14 lunch options. Someone forgot to tell the owner that this is BEND, not San Francisco.Just another trendy place, next to a homeless clinic, trying to push the envelope of absurdity with their prices.How high is their rent that they have to charge prices like this?The medium income in Bend is like 35K, not 70K.

Its extraordinarily difficult to find organic, gluten free food made with love and variety like Plantd offers. I love Manya and Plantd. The house made nut milk Reishi lattees and coconut paleo bars are favorites worth trying! The ayurvedic soups are delicious and nutritious. Definitely a fan. :)

Amazing, I was looking for a paleo breakfast sandwich and they didnt have one on the menu but everything to make one and they worked outside the box. Amazing food and amazing service! I highly recommend this place. I will be going again for sure! Only wish is that their Paleo Bar was actually paleo. It has chocolate chips which have sugar in them. ;/

So first time realizing fearless was gone, so naturally if I end up at a place with GF options I’m gonna try it. I did. Never again. 1. I got overcharged by 5 dollars making my GF breakfast sandwich $15 dollars after all (should have been $10, still expensive). Once sandwich came, went out to car and realized it was not on the cheddar roll as promised. (Instant heartbreak) Go back in, make them aware of overcharge and lack of cheddar roll, was told (without a hint of a smile) they went ahead and substituted the bread with the house bread since they were out. They assumed I would want it, and acted like it’s just NO thing. (If I’m gonna pay those outrageous prices I want it my way, the way it is listed, and the way I ordered it. Also, the regular seeded bread is hard on my teeth.)The lady at the register then proceeds to tell me, you can either wait for a cheddar roll (baking a batch now) andshe could refund me my overcharge (5 dollars, mind you she will OWES me, like it’s a favor). OR I could take it and she could refund the whole thing. (At this point I’m super Hangry and just NEED to eat.). I say “Ok it’s whatever I just really need to eat!” So then she says “okay I’ll refund you the 5 dollars. 😳 Her way of “fixing” the situation was to refund me the money SHE overcharged me.I get to my car, and mind you I’m so hungry I could literally gnaw my own arm off, and I open the Box and to my surprise it Both looks and smells good... I took a bite and .. NOTHING. Absolutely NO flavor at all. Major Disapointment, I was starving, a cardboard box should have tasted good. 10-15 dollars, a lot of frustration and Hangriness to turn around and have to throw it out. Would not recommend.
