They helped me get my charger back on the road with no issues along with my Subaru, and in little time cause they knew how important it was that I had them to work. They were honest about whats going on under the hood and explained everything in detail to me. The front ladies are always so kind and were a big reason I enjoyed coming there. Recently my throwout bearing and clutch went out on my truck, I called around to multiple shops hoping they would have availability to work on my transmission, most shops could not take my truck in for weeks. Happy danes has excellent service and mechanics that will take full care of your vehicle. They even changed a couple fuses that were out in my rig, completely separate to the transmission work being done. Their dedication and hard work got me back in my truck and working again quickly...

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE - They lie, and cheat you. Read all the good reviews, thought it would be legit, not at all. One of the owners pretended to just be an employee, playing stupid and letting me know that my complaint would be shared with “the powers that be” -She was one of them.

When I took my car in for service, I had no idea what was wrong. Happy Danes could have checked everything out and sold me an expensive repair. But they didnt, they told me what needed to be fixed and suggested some other things I could address. If trust is the secret to auto repair then they earned it. Will definitely use them again.

I did a lot of research before picking Happy Danes Auto Repair. I do a lot of my own repair and maintenance so Im very picky. I had a water pump going bad and it only took Kevin about 10 seconds of listening to the engine running to come up with the same conclusion. That was on a Friday and Michelle scheduled me in for the following Monday. On the estimate it laid out costs, labor, etc. One thing I chuckled about was a note from Kevin saying Manufacturer recommends removing engine, but we generally dont have to. I brought it in first thing Monday morning and the repair was completed before end of day with the cost coming in almost exactly on the nose! Im very satisfied and have already recommended Happy Danes to some of my friends. One thing I forgot to ask though... did Kevin have to remove the engine????

After three very disappointing customer service experiences at the (only) Toyota dealer here in Bend, we decided to give Happy Danes a try, on the advice of a friend of ours. Weve been taking our two Toyotas -- a Matrix and a Tacoma -- to Happy Danes now for about a year and a half, and we have nothing but positive things to say about the professionalism, timeliness, and quality of repair work they have performed for us. Theyve done as superb a job with routine maintenance and oil changes as they have with major recommended transmission service on our 4WD truck. We love patronizing this local business and cant recommend them enough... forget Kendall Toyota and their rude, incompetent and expensive service department.

Ive been using Happy Danes for the better part of 7 years now and they have some of the best customer service I have experienced. They never try to sell me a repair I dont need, get me in pretty quickly in the best of times (and offered to get me in same day during the pandemic), and have always been prompt with repairs. Every so often, Ive even found nice notes and tokens of gratitude like candy and apple cider after an oil change in my car!

Went in to check on a strange sound my car had been making. I thought it was a belt issue. Turned out the issue was just that the protective shield underneath my car had come loose. Marty and the crew welcomed me in with my loud car and my questions. Even though they were booked solid for over two weeks, immediately upon my arrival they took a look at my car, fixed the issue, and sent me on my way. I have been here twice with my 2003 Honda Civic. The first time was because my heater died in the beginning of winter. I get so nervous with car stuff because I don’t know anything about fixing cars, and in the past people have taken advantage of that. Not Happy Danes! They were quick, knowledgeable, kind and explained everything to me thoroughly. I felt that the price was fair for repairing my car as well. The second time, was because my car just wouldn’t start. I explained to them that I had already charged the battery AND tried jumping it, to no avail. Both the receptionist and Brandon were quick to help and fix my car. Honest, dependable, great mechanics, genuinely nice people. I recently had 100k service done there on my Tundra. The final cost came in under the original estimate, because they said a couple things didn’t really need to be done yet, as the truck was in good shape. Many other places would have done the unneeded work anyway and charged me for it. Having a vehicle is a big investment, especially when it’s a truck you use to haul a camper trailer around the country with. Having people I can trust to do the job competently and honestly is a big weight off my shoulders.

Very helpful, very knowledgeable. I was having some challenges with the electrical system in my car that turned out to be corrosion on the terminals - they had it for 2 days, probably spent a few hours on it, and charged me 1/5th of what they could have, or what another shop might have. Really stand-up people. Will be going there again if I need help.

I have used several automotive shops in Bend over the years and I prefer the Mom and Pop kind where you know the owners and the people who will be working on your vehicles. The owners can be found here nearly every day, working the office and the shop, and the employees are great at investigating and repairing all sorts of automotive problems. We dont go anywhere else anymore.

Based on one visit for an oil change, Happy Danes appears to be an auto repair place I can trust. At least I was happy enough with their service to return if/when I need a more costly repair. I had a 2:30 appt -- I arrived and my car was promptly driven into the garage and voila, about 30 min later, I was ready to roll. And their price matched the very good price I was getting at my favorite shop in LaVerkin, UT. Friendly service too.

These guys a living off of their reputation. They did exactly what a stereo typical rip off shop would do.They fixed a rubbing condition on a hard turn by charging me $155 for a replacement brake hose, but they failed to properly secure the hose and never took it for a test drive (which I approved)... it wasnt fixed. it turns out both hoses needed to be secured PROPERLY in order to fix it, which was done for free by another mechanic as part of a brake inspection.They told me my oil pan gasket was leaking and it would be $425 to replace it... I was getting $1600 in repairs done and asked for a discount... because $425 is steep for this type of repair in previous cars. Their response we have been around for long enough that we dont offer discounts... luckily I opted to wait on that repair. As it turns out, it wasnt an oil pan gasket, it was much worse and higher on the engine and oil was dripping down to the oil pan. I would have wasted $425 not fixing the real problem.Finally, they suggested I get a tune up since it was time for my 90k mile service. As it turns out... my jeep doesnt require a tune up for another 10k miles. They said the spark plugs werent gapped properly... the second opinion mechanic said that doesnt appear to be the case and I should wait for the scheduled service time.Save your money... go to a mechanic who wants to build/protect their reputation, not one living off of it.
