Very friendly and helpful staff. Store experience differs greatly depending on what time you go. If you dont like it being crowded, go around 8am or 8pm.

Didnt get to see any weird attire, kind of disappointing. I was able to find an 8-port network switch at a decent price, which was a little surprising to me, but hey, Ill take it. Set off the alarm going out the door. Didnt get arrested. All in all rather civilized.

Nice store except I wish they had more check outs with an actual attendent doing the check out, not a computer! They have very compeditive prices on especially on Gluten free products. That is one of the main reasons we go there. I have Ciliac Disease & have to eat certain foods. There workers are very pleasant and dressed well. Always enjoy shopping there...

Poor service, incompetence abound! Never enough check out people! I was in line for over an hour and half one day, because they only had the self check puts open. I saw no less then 4 employees just chatting away while we all say there and waited. I asked to see a manager and the lead said I am in charge of the front of house and was campletely rude, and I had to tell him to clean up a spill that wouldve cost the company millions if someone had slipped in it! Unfortunately it is the Walmart in the area. Wish they would get there act together.

Went to Walmart today. A lot of the shelfs were empty. I wanted to buy a pair of winter gloves. Not much to choice from. I found a pair that would work. I got up to the self checkout and could not find a bar code. I went back to see if I could find another pair with a bar code. Was a half a dozen pair and none had codes on them. I took a pair and got in line at the checkout . She could not find a code either. After a while and looking at the line behind me I told her to just forget it. I was not very impressed with the store at all. It will be a while before I go back.

I just need to let everyone know what an amazing manager Travis is!The last 2 times I have been there, he made sure to take care of my issues. The first time I ever dealt with Travis - was because one of their self check-out machines wasnt working. Of course, it was the one I was using, and even though he saw I had money on my credit card, the machine went crazy and didnt take money off my card. Travis ended up admitting it was THEIR MACHINE, and not my credit card - and that this has happened before. He gave me a gift card and used that to pay for the items I was purchasing. (Only $14 worth of stuff). Nothing major.The 2nd issue was last week when I couldnt find my car keys. My daughter and I were trying to reach some items on a higher shelf and I put my car keys down on one of the shelves to try to grab the higher items. I TOTALLY forgot my car keys and walked out of the isle to continue to shop. When I went to check out, I realized my keys were gone. I freaked out, and panicked - but when an employee told Travis - he got some members of Walmart team together to search the isles for me. He went to check himself when I told him where I last remember having them, and he came back WITH MY KEYS IN HIS HANDS! :)Travis makes sure that any customer with an issue is taken care of right away, and in the right way so they leave happy. Awesome management! Thank you Travis!

The workers here are friendly I was immediately greeted when entering and when I exited I was told very politely to have a good day.I had trouble finding the skin care section so I asked an employee and he was very friendly and helpful.This Walmart offers a variety of skin care options which is great because my skin is very sensitive.We even purchased some fresh donuts from their bakery for the road.

Still a lot of items out of stock. But convenient.

Never any check-outs open and most of the self checkouts arent even working. Employees can barely even help you with any of your questions. And theyre always thinking someones stealing. When Im going through the self checkout the employee in charge of that section will LITERALLY WATCH ME SCAN ALL OF MERCHANDISE. ITS SO DEGRADING!!!

I have been here enough to know my way around which is lucky. Finding help is sometimes difficult. Self check outs move quickly for the most part. This could have gotten more or less stars depending on the day. Overall I can usually find what I need at a cheaper price.

10/08/21 at 9:30 in the morning, an older lady in purple, and a hair net, working in the bakery used the bathroom and returned to work without washing her hands. I know because I was the one who left right behind her and I watched her go back to the bakery right afterwards. She couldve washed her hands back there before returning to work but that still turned me off of this particular walmarts deli section.Most of (not all) the staff do seem quite grumpy as others have stated but Im going to guess thats due to the employee shortages everyone is experiencing so Ill give them the benefit of the doubt there.The pharmacy is really great though. Theyre always timely and nice. Usually well stocked.Ive heard the auto section is also pretty nice though Ive never used the services myself.I cant say much else. Its not really a great walmart. The shelves are usually low or empty in certain departments. Go somewhere else if you can. If not, itll do.

Clean store. Nice people. Went to get a copy of a key and the equipment was outdated and the key did work. But refunded very easy. Just an inconvenience to have to return to find out I had to go someplace else.

Every time I have to go-to Walmart I spend more time waiting on line to cash out then I do shopping. And the employees are not very friendly seems like the customers who pay their wages are to much of a bother.

Walmart has everything you need or want and much more. The grocery section is stocked and organized. The prices are reasonable and saving money is what is necessary. Can be overcrowded so choose your time wisely.

Wish The Workers Would Keep The Shelfs Stock And Free Of Empty Cardboard. Never Been To A Disfunctional Walmart Ever. Ive Worked At Wakmart In Detroit Lakes And Never Looked This Bad. THEY would Fire All The Workers.

The main person at pickup was very good. Put bread in front after asking and made sure all items were set nicely. The 2 helpers were a little less nice. Tossing in items and basicly making a huge heap in my trunk. They were all polite and very nice though. It was below zero and I had a huge order. So overall good job.

I don’t have a general problem with Walmart but this specific store was ridiculous. It was a Sunday evening and shelves were very bare in grocery which was disappointing but understandable after a summer weekend. The terrible part was that not a single cashiered checkout was open, leaving every single person (not matter how many items they had or how inexperienced they were) to use the self checkouts. We waited in line for at least 30 minutes…which is understandable at the holidays but on a Sunday evening?? Do better.

Shopping for groceries is quick and easy when you have a list, clothes for children and school supplies is made simple because schools are listed along with grades and the supplies they will need.

I dont like the fact that you have no choice but to ring your own things up. Should mean the store should always be completely clean and stocked.

Very clean and organized. Used the Walmart app to find all of my things quickly (from out of town).

I love walmart! But it was almost impossible to find any help in the clothing and jewelry department. Extremely frustrating. However if you have the time and continue to look chances are you will find what your looking for.I strongly recomend doing research re: smart phones, laptops, TVs etc before shopping. Be prepared to ask the right questions to get the best answers.

I do most or all of my shopping here its not to bad of a place to shop but I dont care for being followed thru the whole store

Great selections as always. Lines were long and the sporting goods department wasnt very vast but its expected with any Walmart. I didnt leave with any disappointments.

Lots of empty shelves in every department. Long lines @ checkouts any time of day. Always have to use self checkouts due to only having 1 or 2 employees checking (if any) Your best bet is curbside pick-up. Ive had great luck with this option. Quick to load my purchase under 5 minutes from arrival & very polite & professional employee.

My brother was ordering pictures have printed at Walmart from the app at the store. The worker there kept looking at us and after we ordered them which was at like 2pm he shut the machine off and came up to us and said “are you guys waiting for something” and we told him that we just got done ordering the pictures and he told us that we would have to come back at the next day to get them because they turned the machine off but keep in mind it was 2pm and it says that it closes at 8pm. So that next morning I decided I wanted to order pictures as well so I placed my order and we went back to the store to get both of our picture orders at around noon. We waited a while to be helped and once the worker came to assist us he told us that “we’re not doing pictures today the guy didn’t come in” and so we would have to come back tomorrow to get them.

I would rather let rats chew my arms off than shop here, but the prices are reasonable. Nothing I want is in stock, but they have lots of everything else. Is it me? Am I too picky? I dont know, Ill ponder on it while I dig into this 40 pound bag of Red White and Blue Cheez-Bits...

They had masks right when you walk in the line wasnt as long as it usually is only thing I dislike about this walmart is you have to watch ur things or people will steal them!

They need to extend their hours. If casinos stay open 24 hours and bars until 2am Walmart could try and get back to their normal hours. Always super overcrowded during the day. Thats why I liked going later at night.

Worst Walmart Ive ever been to. Absolutely NO cashiers and the scan and go terminals were malfunctioning. No sense of urgency by anyone and the store is DIRTY. I may go home and shower now.

1 register open. This is what stores are going to, automated checkouts which had 40 people lined up waiting. Walmart besides being 90% or more Chinese products have nobody to help you find what you are looking for. The only bright spot in the Bemidji Walmart was the wonderful employee LAURA. She checked us out after we explained we had an appointment. She should be commended for her outstanding customer service.

Sad store, not one Walmart employee greeted and or asked me if I needed to find anything. I walked past 4 people, who were either texting or talking on their phones. Not a clean store. Smelled musty. Didnt use the bathroom, because I was concerned it would smell worse than the store.

Too many workers not even working at registers. I could run the place better. Security is tight like trying to get into a club. Why cant I carry my electronics around while I shop like the electronic store BEST BUY. Constantly being treated like Im stealing. For the reason I just wrote. Ive been followed. Treated like scum because of the color of my skin. One employee can represent the entire company in a bad way. That location directly, I hear workers making fun of shoppers. Its bad and I dont even want to shop there ever again. I included the family Mobile phone plane because they dont offer it at there OWN store. And prepaid walmart phone cards are non returnable.

In there this morning and the old lady monitoring the self checkouts needs a course(s) in customer service etiquette. I apologize for making her walk five steps from where she was leaning against a different self register. She’s gotta be the worst and least essential employee I’ve ever come across. We stopped by the Walmart in bemidji on Friday night to pick up our last minute supplies get some clothing and perhaps some treats. We were very surprised at how empty the store was particularly in clothing and hardware and even in the yogurt section it was empty, empty empty shelf after shelf. There are only three of about 20-25 checkouts open and then of course the two big self checks on either end and we counted 40 people waiting in line to enter the self-check. It took more than 40 minutes of waiting in line in the line we were in to be checked out by a person. We will never ever stop at this location again until we hear that things have been corrected both in supplies, staffing, and just overall condition of the store. It was very sad!

I went to this Walmart because I was looking for Bemidji State college wear. They had a very big selection both of local high school athletic wear and many different sizes and varieties of college wear for BSU

I went looking for pants I could wear that were loose fitting and comfortable. There werent any associates around, but I did find some anyway.

Probably the worst Walmart in Minnesota. They are always understaffed and unstocked. Self checkout lines are usually backed up to beverages. They pay people to check your bags at the door instead of manning registers. This location is like a bad joke version of that other store that ended in -mart that went out of business.

Out of stock on most I needed. Price tags on shelving gone or wrong items in its place. What is the cost ? Are we paying what we think?Bulk items not in price book. Holds up check out for others ten minutes is a long to wait in line for a price check.Never more than one or two registers open at a time. Long waits and for medically challenged not doable.Looks like variety of products and stock on basics gets smaller every day. Looks like Wal-Mart in six months of no change should rent half the store out.Import clothing size pre packs is causing you to sell your profits off for a $1.00 and item in clothing clearance. You make no money in clothing maybe in Womens.To make it worse your mens clothing sizes and womens are so small you sell off key sizes not real sizes and this causes more losses.No attention to demographic products or clothing conversion. Example in the north here spring if there is one and summer are 4 to five weeks later than Minneapolis MN.So you mark down your winter goods and go spring as people still need cold clothing.You sell plants and trees that are not zoned to survive winter up here. Now they will live through your short season warranty, not a year. But the customer takes the loss and dont buy from you again.Big and a nice store but you need to be in stock on basics and have plano gram. This produces in stock turn over on key items like five hooks vs one and five times shelf stock and yours does not. You could be so much more successful with a top 100 never out program. No old buyers left out there and automation is good but it left alone will destroy you in todays changed world.Thanks for what you do offer.Old Guy. Itasca.

Store was kind of dirty. And theres a foul smell in the air not sure what it was. Some of the employees dont speak English very well and dont know what youre looking for asking for. the that is very frustrating.

Absolutely terrible. I’m in the store as I type this and there are lines stretching the entire length of the isle. Reason being there’s only two registers open other than self checkout. How about we actually use the 10+ checkout counters rather than 1 or 2. Extremely poorly managed

Busy northern Minnesota Walmart. Nice to see many people have stopped wearing masks in the store and the store personnel despite the Minnesota crazy orders. Some people in northern Minnesota are waking up from their slumber and moving on with their lives and this Walmart is smart enough to realize this.

Nothing has changed, no cashiers...might as well be getting paid to ring up my own groceries...shop for a business...have a full full cart...no help...have to suspend stuff everytime...to add onto another suspended order..takes 5 times longer than everyother grocerystore....have to then lug everything to service desk...absolutely ridiculous....get your $&^+ together Walmart....saving grace is Colleen in the front...give that women a raise!!!

We have been here many times, and the shelves have been totally wiped out. I am not exaggerating. The last time that we were here the meat section was nothing but black shelves. NO meat NO pork NOTHING!! The store also is not a very clean store, I wish they were more like the Walmart up in Hibbing.

Had a to be at hospital an no one could check me out left my stuff setting by check out and left. Asked a young man working there and he said he couldnt help me. What kind of store is this. . Walmart has over 20 Registers but only open a few. If you are hoping to find meats, cheeses, soft drinks You may find a few, But they are not going to be the kind that you’re hoping for. For the past four (4) months plus the meat and cheese refrigerator section and vegetables have been severely depleted consistently without keeping up with supply and demand. At one point the store was raising prices two double and triple the normal every day prices on simple things such as eggs.If you’d like to find products - I would recommend looking at other stores in the Bemidji area first. If you have no other choice then be prepared to settle for something that wasn’t your first choice, and be prepared to stand in long lines to check yourself out. Walmart is the worst store i have ever shopped at they have 2 checkouts with people running them 6or 7 carts deep with carts packed full and all self checkouts lined up with five or six filled carts in each line it is rediculous and no product on shelves rediculous hate even going to that store
