Because of Vonceil I plan to schedule ANNUAL inspections for the overall maintenance and performance of my garage door. I count on the Overhead Door Company of Frederick to tune up my garage doors every year, especially before winter sets in. Spring broke last night on garage door as it was closing. Door would no longer open. Called Overhead Door Company this morning and a tech was at the house this afternoon. The technician arrived on time, fixed out problem quickly and professionally, and provided great advice on maintaining our garage doors properly in the future.More recently, a glitch developed with the new sensors installed during Overheads initial visit. The technician came back, quickly diagnosed and fixed the wiring problem, and had our door working again in no time.

Mike, our tech, was incredibly great. He called us to alert us to the fact that he was on the way. He diagnosed the problem (a broken spring) within seconds after entering the garage. He estimated that he would be able to complete the repair in about an hour, which turned out to be quite accurate. He displayed a high degree of professionalism, competence, and efficiency. In addition to the repair, he lubricated the hinges and performed preventive maintenance. In addition, he was friendly and pleasant. He even charmed our puppy! Before he arrived, we were feeling quite desperate. An hour later, the problem was solved and we were feeling relieved. The price was very reasonable - especially for an emergency repair at 5 pm on the day before Easter Sunday. My wife and I are very happy customers.

Unfortunately he didn’t have the part necessary on his truck, but instead of giving up and rescheduling me, he actually waited at my house while another colleague brought the part to him. I was really shocked and impressed by the dedication of Connor and team to try their best to get the repair right the first time, and not extend the repair process. Wow. What a rarely good experience I just had...This morning at 7:30 AM as I was leaving through my garage to walk the dog the garage door snapped and stopped working. Ive never had to deal with anything related to a garage door before so I had no clue who to call. I googled garage door repair DC and Overhead Door Company was the first response I saw. I called them (at 7:30 AM) and assumed that no one would answer because it was so early. Surprise! A real (and very polite) human answered the phone and transferred me to their residential services department and they were able to get my appointment set for the same morning. The technician who arrived (at 10:30 AM) was named Connor and he was unbelievably polite, professional and knowledgeable. He quickly identified what was wrong with the garage door and quickly and expertly fixed it. When he left I even tried to give him a tip to reward him for being exceptionally good and he refused my tip, saying it wasnt necessary because the company takes really good care of him.I work in customer service myself and am consider myself somewhat demanding and hard to please because I know how service is supposed to really be versus what it usually is. Therefore please take it from me....Overhead Door Company is the real deal and will over-deliver on your customer service experience, which is a rarity these days.I cant say enough good about Connor and the team that I dealt with over the phone in the process. Consider me amazed.
