Theyre a bit of a hike from where we live now, but we still continue to bring our cars here because John and his team do great work.They take detailed pictures and documentation of all problems during an inspection and provide realistic advice based on budget and urgency.Overall, theyre a great mechanics shop. Highly recommend!

This was my very best experience at a repair shop ever. I took my 12 year old car in for a few issues. They spent so much time helping troubleshoot and really went the extra mile. Josh helped me pick out new tires, and suggested a place to order them from so that I would get complimentary roadside assistance by ordering there, and the price was great. Their text updates are amazing. It included all the systems, review of the health of each area, photos, actually photos that showed any things that were issues. Super great communication and I was just so pleased with everything start to finish. I was also very surprised at how reasonable their prices were.

We were in town from Arizona and noticed some sounds on our car that were unfamiliar. Not knowing a good mechanic we looked online for reviews. After seeing all the 5 star reviews for John Hook Automotive we decided to give them a call. I can attest to the friendly response we received from this company. Kyle was the man we dealt with and he was very knowledgeable of our needs. We needed to be picked up and driven back to our motor home which they did at no cost. We had the front brakes replaced and a complete vehicle inspection. I would highly recommend John Hook Automotive for any repair you might need on your car. When we return next year we will have a check up again.

After another shop spent a week with my car without fixing it, they solved my car’s issue in less than 24 hours and were incredibly nice throughout the whole process. When I went to pick it up, they explained to me what wasn’t working and how to fix it myself if it happened again. They even called me a couple days later to make sure everything was running okay. Highly recommend!

Greeted as soon as I walked in they also remembered me from the previous day. Very clean. Took my car back about 25 min later which is great compared to other places. Wasnt crowded but did have flow of regular clients dropping of their car. Would recommend this place. Also they were informative on what was going on up to that point I asked. I asked for a round about price for what they knew needed down and they gave without hesitation. Josh was very professional and answered any and all my questions.

Service is always quick and they provide a digital bill of health on your car that gives you a better understanding of what theyve done and what may need to be done in the future.

I went to John Hook Automotive for an alignment.In Covid-19 times, distance or mask rules applied and extra care was taken to protect car surfaces. Respectful, kind, and efficient service was given. The price was below average. The owner assured me that he has a policy of honesty, fairness, and a commitment to the customer. That is.why I was a “first-time customer”...I read the reviews. I’ll use his services again. I may have found a new repair shop.

If you want to take your car to a place where the people care for your car as much as you do (if not better), then bring your car here! The technicians and even the front desk employees are all knowledgeable on cars. These guys are 100 percent authentic, if there’s a problem with your car, they will find it and keep you informed every step of the way. They send pictures of the problem, and even take videos that show you what is wrong. Pricing is fair, plus their work and customer relation skills are phenomenal. I was recommended to come here by a friend of mine who also has a sports car and I will be recommending this place to everyone I come across.

I absolutely love this place, found it all because my daughter needed a tow, (Everything happens for a reason right) the diagnosis was accurate, the price was reasonable and the car was done sooner than expected. Jeremy even took the time to look at an issue I was having. Ended Up taking my car there for repairs, again nothing but sheer satisfaction. This is the most honest mechanical shop of ever been to!!!

Straight to the point, thorough list and pictures of what needed to be done, they did the state inspection and fixed what needed to be done, my car is 2013 Altima and runs like a new car now.

This company is amazing they communicate with you very well through out the whole process, they break down how much everything is going to cost and what needs to be done exactly. They ask if it is ok before doing anything. You receive pictures, by txt and or email. On top of that just by luck this time maybe, my car was done a day early. If anything else goes wrong i will Definitely be returning to them !

John Hook Automotive was a very positive experience all around. If theres a problem, they solve it as inexpensively as possible. They have software which texts you a report of service done and recommendations. They remind you when maintenance needs to be done, such as an oil change. The service is friendly and timely.

Josh was courteous in the phone, when I arrived for my appointment and when I left. The mechanic was nice enough to retrieve my letter opener from underneath the cracks of my cup holder - another courtesy. This was my second visit andI I will be returning.

I was leaving for work the other morning, and my car wouldnt start. Thinking that it was the battery, I jump-started it and headed to work. When it came time to leave for the day, I had to jumpstart my battery again.I took my car to two different places that evening, and BOTH of them told me that my battery was good, and then sent me on my way (after having to jumpstart me so I could leave their businesses).The next day, my dad suggested that I take it to John Hook because they did such a good job on his vehicle. They told me to come on in, and they would check it out for me. It WAS the battery.John Hook had me in and out of there in no time! And everyone there was so nice! I am so happy that they were able to look at my car for me, and I plan to go back in the near future for all of my car maintenance needs! Thank you guys!

I brought the car in for routine maintenance. During his inspection of the car, the mechanic found a screw in a rear tire and repaired the tire. I am so thankful for the mechanics careful assessments and work when I bring my car in. I will continue to bring my car to John Hook Automotive.

Their mechanics speak in English that I can understand; (2) Excellent itemized, computer printouts of how a charge for service is calculated, rather than a carbon copy of something scribbled on a form; (3) Honest diagnostics because there are instances where John Hook assured me that work did not need doing when I thought it needed doing. I chose John Hook Automotive based on the reviews already here. I am so glad that I did! My vehicle with 278,000 miles needed some extensive front end repairs. I knew there were multiple things going wrong. John treated me politely, fairly and made sure that I knew each problem, why it was, what needed to be repaired and what it cost.He was so much better to deal with then others I have encountered in the area. It is great to have my car back (I have had it over 10 years now) and having it running better than it has in a couple of years. The problems were all fixed right the first time and fixed completely. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a great auto repair garage.Update June 2017. Car had over 290,500 miles. Still going strong. John Hook just replaced exhaust system for the first time it the cars history. Also needed front stuts. Drives like a dream!

Took my car into another mechanic in the area after my A/C started acting up. He comes out and tells me that they think theres a problem with one of the doors and that itll cost $250 to check behind the dashboard, plus whatever the cost of the issue is, which they said shouldnt be more than $500.I randomly searched online and found John Hooks, called them and explained the problem, and Jeremy said he could look behind the dash for $49. A few hours later I talk to Jeremy, turns out there was no issue behind the dash, that my refrigerant was low, and that John had recharged it. They didnt charge me for the time they spent poking behind my dash and cleaned my cabin filters for free. After all was said and done I left paying less than $140 for a problem that a competitor would have charged me $500 to ultimately not fix. The guys at John Hooks are as honest and fair as they come, highly recommend!

Called in to have my wiring checked after a poor experience at another mechanic in the area. When I showed up I met John who was very kind and upfront about their schedule that day and let me know theyd do what they could, when I started describing my problem he brought out the mechanic whod be working on my car and let me speak directly to him. Had a nice exchange and I could tell from the conversation that they were above board and honest about what they were going to do.When work was completed later that day(they were able to fit me in on a tight day with short notice) they contacted me directly by text with a service report that showed pictures and details about what was performed so there was no ambiguity about what I was paying for. This was easily the best experience Ive had with a mechanic I didnt grow up with. This locally owned and operated shop deserves your time and attention. And your car will thank you.

. I highly recommend these guys I found them to be extremely honest and advise me on all my options including checking out the price of the dealer for a transmission rebuild. However I decided to go with these guys cuz they give me a great price and even though they didnt actually do the rebuild they found something to do it for me and then also do my clutch at a great price awesome save me from having to buy a new car. I highly recommend these guys a little difficult to find is there an industrial park but totally worth it.

They evaluated my problem and made the nessasary adjustments for 8% of the dealer quote. Turns out my breaks are almost new still! Total honesty and I truly appreciate the quality service.
