Tried to return a is return a skid or palate at the store. No SKU number so we could not return it. In the future I will never accept anything on a skid. I would suggest you take them have everything off of the skid and then bring it to bring it to your home. Even though they have signs up all over the store return your skid

I love Menards. We do not have this chain in Georgia but I sincerely hope one day it becomes a reality. On this visit to Beloit on work related items I have so far spent over $300.00 on items I can not find at Home Depot or Lowes back home. The choice of items and wide array of items is astounding.

I love this place always here had to get new tires and wheels for a camper my wife wanted in Minnesota and were in Wisconsin and the tires on it are junk

Always like shopping at Menards. My suggestion if you shop with another person, make sure they have their phone on them so can locate them instead of wandering the aisles looking for them!!😁 😂 🤪 🤣

Love going to Menards, especially at Christmas time their decorations. And love their flowers, hanging baskets. Beautiful colors to choose from! Friendly staff!

The store is great. Walking the entire distance to either front door or exit door when you have back problems. What a bone headed layout. Thinking of sueing store for it. How incredibly callous to the customer. Whoever designed it needs to have back problems and forced to walk it like we do. Fired for starters. All who thought it was a good idea fired. I guess they just hate people. I have all I can to not say more.

Went to pickup online order for my son who received email order was ready. Menards evidently does not set aside orders paid for by online customers. It would have helped if they would just checked their inventory when I got there and provided the order number. But instead sent me all over looking for the order with no one available to help? Very disappointed! Poor customer service. Menards used to have good service, but not today. (5/6/21)

Service is not the greatest. Trying to return something and there is a line out the door and one person at the desk. Train your team to call for backup. Same happens at checkout, lines of people, no extra cashiers.If I had another option closer, I would go there instead.

After calling in advance to confirm they had the item I needed in stock and given a specific aisle where that item was located, I drove into the store to buy it.I spent 2 hours looking forward the item and spoke to 4 different employees. Nobody could find it and they concluded that they don’t sell it and never have.I do not like dealing with incompetence and that is what I got.

Guess what? I could find at Menards what I couldnt at other big box home improvement stores. Nothing crazy extreme either or super niche. A small plunger to help unclog my basement drain. Two bucks. The other places? Didnt have the size I needed and when I asked, I was told to use drain cleaner. TF? I had a plunger and it worked fine until it needed to be replaced. Drain cleaner isnt the solution. I tried. I need to redo some plumbing, but cant afford it right now, so just need to get by. Was told they dont make plungers that small by the other places. Menards? The dude told me the aisle, side of the aisle, what it was next to and what shelf. Mind you, this was the dude at the paint counter when he was mixing some paint. Didnt even have to look it up, just knew it off the top of his head.

Management needs to be educated on what you can, and cannot deny service on. You absolutely CANNOT ask me what kind of health condition I have, nor demand I produce paperwork to you of such condition. No more than you can ask my daughter why she has a service dog or demand she produce paperwork to you to prove it. I hope the next person sues you for violation of rights. Lucky for me, home depot does not treat their customers this way and I will never spend a dime at a Menards ever again in my lifetime!

That store has almost everything I need. But doesnt have a big selection of wall mounted lamps with power cords. My new house doesnt have a ceiling light and has half-hot outlets where the top outlet is switched. So I need those corded wall lights. But also looking for C by GE smart switched. Menards doesnt have those either.

Good selection of things you will need for home and yard projects. Prices are competitive with similar retailers. Kitchen, bathroom, yard and landscape projects, they even have some groceries you can pick up to make it a one stop shopping experience. Seasonal toys for the youngins and a big selection and display around the holidays. SAVE BIG MONEY AT MENARDS!!!

Spent 15 min in the electrical small parts looking for an item with one young lady doing a planogram on one side of me(she actually looked annoyed as if i was in her way by shopping and paying her wages and actually went and stood by the desk until i was done in the isle )and another older guy putting away stock from a cart and was totally ignored,no can i help you,no hello, on nothing but playing with their merchandise. The customer service at this location has became non-existent to say the least and is a sad example of terrible management,from the top down.This store when it opened prided itself with having the best customer service in the area&the gm&managers and employees made sure EVERYONE was greeted with a hello and if they needed something the employees were instructed to walk the guest to the product,not point and say its over thereI can say these things because i was there when it opened&spent a long time working there doing just what i described with customers,not ignoring them.Sad to say but when the last few original employees leave this store,the idea of reciving ANY help from an employee at menards new idea of guest service will be a fantasy...Ill just save the frustration(and disgust) of menards new business model and shop elswhere

Worst experience ever. im never come back to shop here. I was a frequent customer and a comercial one at that. No more, they lost my the opportunity to do business with me ever again.when i asked for Arche doors and they gave the wrong ones even after i had specifically showed them the type of door and mentioned it twice. When i came to pick up the order, the doors were not what i asked. they did not own up to their mistake and alleged that they checked the order. they did not want to fix this error and did not listen to reason. if they dont wish to prioritize my business, then i can take it elswhere. homedepo is far more efficient then them anyways.

They couldnt help with problem other than to advise talking with OReillys Auto parts.

Ive been to many Menards stores and this one above all of them is one of my go to Menards as its closest to my home town. The employees put the customer first. Which made me very satisfied. I did not have e to wonder around aimlessly to find what I needed, they all stepped up and pointed me in the right direction. I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

There is no better home improvement store, they always have stock and helpful people.

Menards has just about everything you need for most home repairs. Everything for the beginner to the construction pro, building to landscaping. I needed some joist hangers for a deck I am building. The staff is very helpful. And 11% instore rebate is a nice offer, as well.

So much to choose from but really wish they had the help to go with that. Staff is friendly but not always the area they are knowledgeable in for the right product.

Had to look for someone to help me.Also there not not motor car you only have 2 for the whole store you should get some more carts.

This is a great store. Lot of handicap parking. You must wear a mask all times in the store. Good customer service. Was able to find everything online 1st and when I got to the store the online directory showed me where to find everything and how many was in stock.

Great staff and huge variety with great prices. I used to buy lumber here quite often, as well as everything else needed to do woodworking or a home project. Ive always had great experiences at this store. I moved away two years ago but really miss having this Menards nearby.

Didnt have what I needed.

I entered this store shortly after 7 am 10/2/20. I was wearing my mask and noticed nobody was within 20 feet of me. So I pulled it down below my mouth. A young lady yelled at me and said I have to have it covering my mouth anytime Im in the store. I went back in the grocery area and noticed 2 people stocking shelves standing side by side. They both had their masks pulled down and talking. They had some good buys here but they failed in customer service.

I think it was just a bad day for me and the returns lady.

This is a nice menards. The paint department always has people available. I buy a lot of paint at this menards because they sell oil based paint by the gallon, Illinois stores only have a limited selection of gallons. Helpful and informed staff in the paint department makes shopping enjoyable. And 11% off!

They didnt have all the materials I needed.Stood in line to order materials then had to stand in line to pay drove around to the yard only to find out the materials they sold me were not in stock then needed to stand in line AGAIN in order to get a refund.Wasted over an hour dealing with idiots.Recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Well in this place they always cheat with the Prices, they have a Price on the shelves and you get to the cashier and it turns out another price, try to buy a couple of car coolants, and in the cashier the girl told me that it cost more, take a photo at the price of the article which I still have in my cel, and still told me that it cost more, she called another girl, I suppose that the supervisor and she told me exactly the same, I told them that I did not want anything, I went to WALMART and bought the same item for half the price that menards have, what an unpleasant situation, they should close that store and bring HOME DEPOT or LOWES, it is not the first time they do that with prices, it is their modus operandi

The mask policy is horrible which is why this was the first time that Ive been to a Menards since covid 19 started. I work for a company that does covid testing and am far more aware of dangers than theses guys. Im also an asthmatic and wearing a mask for an extended period of time is just as likely to endanger me more than the virus when youre smart about social distancing. I have no plans to go to any Menards in the future unless I have no other choice.
