ZERO STARS...In my opinion and in my own experience with this gilding/bookbinding service, I would not entrust this company with any of my gilding needs as they did a messy inaccurate job gilding two new bibles for me. One Bible also was sent back with the last signature partially torn out and the Smyth-sewn binding pulled loose (both were brand new bibles!) and the owner blames it on the publisher/printer. The owner I spoke to acted like he didn’t even know something had happened to this book, while claiming to be a bookbinder. Any bookbinder worth his/her salt would have fixed or offered to fix any loose binding before sending this back to the customer. Also they gilded the wrong colors on the bibles even after I left notes on each one with color noted,and then he said it was ‘human error’ but didn’t offer to fix that right away. Also had spots in the gilding on both of these.

I was EXTREMELY happy with my prism edging that was done on my Bible. The job was very professional and high quality. I also chose to have my Bible bound in a custom cover. The prism edging just sets the whole thing off...I love it! I would highly recommend bookgilding.coms services.
