I had called about a week ago regarding having my Dodge Challenger tuned and both times that I called, I spoke to a woman the first time I called and then the second time I spoke with a man. I was surprised by how much information they gave me over the phone. They informed me of better alternatives and I really felt like they wanted to make sure I was not going to waste any money on things I did not need. Very good people and very honest.

I have known Julio since the early 2000 when my boyfriend used to take his Mazda to the dealership where Julio was working. I’ve always felt safe having Julio work on any of my three cars because he is so detail-oriented and experienced with all he had learned at the dealer.As a matter of fact, he had helped me buy my first car (Volkswagen Golf) that lasted 16 years with Julio’s great maintenance. Then, I had ’01 Subaru Legacy and now a new 2017 VW GTI that he is a taking such a great care of! Exceptionally Good Service.Ive had extremely good experience with Advanced Diagnostics in Belmont, which became my car maintenance and repair garage of choice after my first visit there. Julio and Yustina are always professional, friendly and attentive.After my old mechanic retired a few years ago, I was in search for a new mechanic for some time. I was not happywith what Ive tried until I got in touch with Julio. Our first phone talk revealed that Julio is extremely knowledgeable and attentive to details. Visiting the car shop, I was very pleased to meet Yustina, Julios wife and receptionist. Yustina is very friendly, charming and professional. Julio was eager to diagnose and solve my cars problem (I had a starter issue at that time) and it was quickly solved and repaired with high quality. Perhaps, I should mention that my car is relatively old, and that fact, likely, made some 5-star rated local mechanics being not interested - not cool... What a different vibe at Advanced Diagnostics - I was treated so nicely and I instantly felt at home. Julio helped me to make the right decision about my new starter - my failing starter was very old and repaired already once; Julio had explained to me that the cost of starter replacement job means that it is important that a new starter is of topmost quality. Im glad I selected Julio and followed the advice. Julios quality standard is extremely high and while his rates are comparable with other mechanics, his repairs and maintenance standards are much higher, so in my view Advanced Diagnostics in Belmont is a great value. This was confirmed fairly soon when my car malfunctioned again, this time with something leaking from the area where I knew the power steering fluid reservoir is located; I thought I have power steering issue and even convinced myself I clearly feel that steering is impacted. When I explained all that to Julio, he said it is most likely that the coolant that leaks, not power steering liquid, an I have water pump failure.
