States open at 9am....workers didnt arrive until 9am....9:15 they have a line outside the door. Punctuality is not their suit

I think that any rating over one star is because they have not been to another U-HAUL. This rental started out bad and just went downhill from there. Employee was watching videos on her phone while servicing us. Employee walked out while we were waiting at the counter came back in and sat down. We had to ask her if we were through checking in and then she said she put the 2 wheeler that we needed near the trunk we rented. When I went and opened the trunk to put the 2 wheeler in the trunk I noticed that there were 2 other dollies on the trunk already. Spoiler alert this just degraded into a mess. Cancelled getting a truck here and went to North Ave U-HAUL and it was like night and day. Very pleased with North Ave U-HAUL.

I went to this location to get a truck to move my mom. We made a reservation days before and when we got there we were told that the truck had already been picked up in her name. After asking for the manager twice to come and talk to us and five use an explanation, all she said was I just deleted the order and we have nothing to worry about! So not only had they given the truck to someone else under all of my moms Information. The manager was rude and unapologetic on how her staff compromised my mothers information. Corporate needs to lookinto how they are allowing people to walk out with trucks under other people information. When my mom got there they asked for her I.D. 3 times but yet you gave her reservation to someone with a totally different name. I dont know if its incompetence or ignorance but if anything shows up under my moms name or information that is fraud uhaul is going to have a lawsuit on there hands. And this is directed to Mr. BEN SHOCK the president of the location that your manager said I should be talking to since she didnt want to do her job and fix the issue in a professional manner!

Don’t rent uhauls from this location. Husband never got $100 deposit back and when we went to go see why, they couldn’t find his information on the system? Also they never answer phone calls.

Returned a truck and left my dads brand new iPhone 12 inside. Called them an hour later and one of their workers had already stolen the phone. Worst uhaul. When I showed up the next day with cops and asked the lady at the front the name of the person working last night she stated that I was putting her in a bad spot. Workers here are THIEVES

This place was very friendly, especially Chris, GM. Go there to find out what you want. Do not call, you have to wait 10 mintues and may or may not get anyone to answer your questions.

I rented a 10 truck from UHaul and found it wasnt going to work. I called and spoke with the Bellwood location and they arranged a 15 truck. Shortly before arrival, I noticed that the rear tire on my auto-transport also had a nail in the tire.On-site I worked with the Manager, Michael Lopez. And all I can say, he was awesome! UHaul needs more managers like him. Mike arranged for a 15 truck and parked it by my 10 truck so I could unload. He offered, and helped, me move some items from one truck to the other. Mind you it was 90+ degrees outside and humid. He also offered water.On the auto-transport, he took my paperwork and called other locations to try and locate one to swap out. When that didnt work, he called the emergency roadside assistance for me to arrange someone to come out and fix the tire. He was very hands on, and helpful. I appreciate everything and your care and attention towards your customers. Its top notch.

Jelani was a wonderful representative! He tested my wife and I with respect and was very helpful with helping us choose a unit for our storage!

Everyone there is very friendly even tho my reservation got screwed up I know it was mostly my fault because I made it 1 week ahead of time and it was near a busy time i should have known. They were a great help.

If only I could give a zero star review as they deserve nothing more. I ordered some things it was suppose to be at the store the next day.i called to verify the next day. The lady tells me shell call me back in 10 minuites. Why is unclear. Nobody calls back an hour goes by. I go to the store and its locked called the 800 number she has the nerve to say Ill just have to wait. I called again I was sent to 4 different extensions finally two hours later the store called me, telling me they had shift change but now they are there. Too late I had to make .y kids dinner and get to work. Now I cancelled Im going with another company thats professional . Terrible establishment.

I was dreading coming here bc of the reviews I read but it was actually really good. We lived in South Shore and it was only 74 total bc I was missing some gas. Thanks again to the man who assisted us in getting into the truck.

Great customer service !!! Cliff is always great, I went in, got my truck and left I wasnt there for more than 10 minutes. EXCELLENT SERVICE THANKS CLIFF !!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - I went there to have a tow hitch mounted to the bottom of my car and wired properly. When the trailer was attached, it blew the fuse for my turn signals and hazard lights. Ended up driving the whole way back without either. Had to pay additional $70 bucks to fix the issue. It wasnt a simple change the fuse because the faulty wiring kept blowing the fuse.

This uhaul place is truely ridiculous. They first explain that my money was on hold for damages i did not do.i called them several times called corporate as well so cameras could be reviewd. After waiting two day someone from this location called me to imform me that i could now get the rest of my deposit.no explanation no nothing. I called them for an explanation because by now i was livid. They explain they could not see on camera rather i did or didnt do damages. I just want to give all your future customers a run down. Make sure u do an inspection of truck before u sign and try to avoid this Uhaul company in bellwood on Mannheim rd all together crooks. I tell you.

Loooong story....making it short. They rented a truck without oil and without windshield water!!! From Bellwood to New Mexico it broke down twice...called assistance and got automated system saying to go online ....(mind you we were out passing dessert areas with no wireless connection)my husband had some meccanic experience and had quarts of oil with thank God!!! Also realized truck was so old that it had a small sticker infront part of lower glove compartment saying it had no airbag!!!! I was pissed!!! And the noise the enginw made...we could hardly hear each other speak. Shame on them for renting a truck in that condition to a family on such a long journey.

We use uhauls at least twice a month for our business. Usually our UHAUL experiences are overall great but I must say this is my least favorable experience with uhaul. These guys are scammers! Watch your invoice when you return the equipment to make sure they arent sticking false fees and surcharges on your bill! Had our returned mileage modified once i got my emailed bill to include 5 extra miles that were never drivien, as well as a furniture dolly that was never in the truck! The guy also insist we put more gas in the truck than we started with or be charged. Time to purge management here UHAUL out with the old and in with the new!

They kool for moving but it dont really matter when you go to get a truck they dont really have a good system for who has what truck and when it should be back but its not there fault its who comes to rent them the people dont bring them back on time so it messes it up for everyone else and plus they are understaffed
