The owner Sergio Martinez and crew pay special attention to detail, they are very thorough and take the time to explain everything so that the client has a complete understanding of what needs to be done and any changes that may arise so that there are no surprises.Ive been a client for over 15 years and there is no other shop that I trust. I would highly recommend First Collision to anyone who needs bodywork done. I needed my cars bumper replaced and was feeling discouraged after getting bad quotes and rude responses from other shops. Unlike the others, First Collision was quick to make time for me, got the job done in just a few days and the price was excellent. Its an unfortunate task to have a dinged up car fixed, but finding someone trust worthy and extremely qualified put me at ease.

I had some rust on the passenger side rear door , rear wheel well and panel of my Santa Fe SUV. I tried a non professional repair which turned into a major mess and nightmare. It looked terrible. I started researching auto body repair shops and came across First Collision in Bellwood, Illinois. I live not far from the location so I took a chance and took a ride. The reviews available were all good. I met with the owner, Sergio. Sergio immediately looked over the vehicle and gave me an estimate. From my research the price he quoted me was more than fair. He took my SUV in immediately and arranged a ride home for me. He said it would be ready in about a week. He had it finished a day earlier than the estimated time. When I picked up my car I was amazed. It was like unbelievable magic how great it looked. He even took photos to show me the areas he cut out the rust and welded in new metal. They also cleaned and buffed the entire SUV. I rarely review any business I have dealings with but in this case I just had to. I also have some rust and clear coat peeling on the passenger side front door and fender. As soon as I can I am going back to have that repaired. I cant say enough about First Collision, Sergio and his crew. They are quality.
