They are very professionals. We bought 14 trees and two of them died and they replaced them immediately. They have great plants, trees and the service is 100 stars. Kyle and the manager Neil were attentive and honored their warranty. We highly recommend Old Mill Nurseries !!!

First time visiting. Still early in the year for flowers variety, although what they did ha e looked vibrant and alive. Staff was courteous and friendly. Not much to choose from at this time. Edit 5/11: there was a scheduling miscommunication that they forgot to notify me on. Bob came the following week & was very professional and knowledgeable on answering questions I had regarding my project. Kudos to Bob for the follow up. I may actually go with them after I go over some more bids.NO SHOW! Im only giving a star because I have no other choice. Called them up to set up an appointment for a new sprinkler system installation. The lady that coordinated the appointment was a pleasure to deal with and set me up with a 1PM appointment for 4/27 with someone named Bob. I called their office at 1:30 after Bob didnt arrive. A different lady told me to give him 10 minutes more in case hes busy from another job and running late and theyll let me know by then. Well, needless to say Bob never showed nor did I get a call to inform me that they need to reschedule, etc. Guess they dont need new business seeing all the other high reviews here.

I purchased an evergreen that was twice as tall as the competition for less money. Their service was excellent and fast.

Very unprofessional. I got a consultation for $30. John did not listen to a word I said. Then when I went for a follow up appointment John left early. So I was left with someone who never read my chart and showed me plants I never agreed to, then had the nerve to ask for a down payment. Do not go!

I only have great things to say about Old Mill Nursery! As people pass our home, they always compliment us on our landscaping. Old Mill planned out all of the plants with me, making sure I got what I liked and what would look good with our house. They always do our Spring & Fall clean up. The men are very respectful and do a great job! It is always my pleasure to recommend them.

Bought a beautiful full tree for a reasonable price and their Christmas store is absolutely beautiful. I believe its open all year round too. They have a little bit of everything in there, not just Christmas. Everything was beautiful

John is a friendly and personable fellow who provides great advice with a quality product. We have purchased several trees over the past few years that have grown beautifully! Old Mill also offers a service to maintain trees and shrubs with competitive pricing that we have used and our yard has never looked so beautiful. We also buy our flowers here each spring, and the quality is second to none! Old Mill is a wonderful nursery with a great selection and knowledgeable sales people. Great little store with wonderful sales people. We are buying a new red bud in the spring, and will be visiting again shortly. Best nursery in Nassau County!

The staff here is amazing! Very attentive and knowledgeable. Any questions you have, someone always points you in the right direction. Old Mill was wonderful. They came and changed the entire look of my home. John came to the house and met with me personally and listened to what I wanted my house to look like. He came up with the perfect landscape design and I couldn’t be happier. The backyard is an oasis to escape and the front yard looks neat, clean and inviting. One tree flowers with a beautiful pink flower and the perfect accent to the house. The owner listened to what I wanted to do, gave me very constructive ideas and made my property into a Garden of Eden. The men did a wonderful job; they were very neat and cleaned up any mess made when the work was completed. They were very courteous, friendly and conscientious about their work. Had Old Mill Nusery deliver “clean” fill to my home for outdoor project. Was told fill would be relatively clean rocks, sticks maybe some glass. Fill was delivered and it was far from clean yes there were rock and sticks and glass but also metal pipes large 80lbs pieces of concrete oh and baby diapers super clean fill. Will never buy anything from this nursery again. Oh and truck that delivered fill left about half a gallon of oil on my driveway thanks a lot Old Mill really fantastic experience.

Old mill nursery just completed some landscaping work and pavers with a sitting wall for a fire pit area for me. I must say I have NEVER seen crews that did work at my home or friends and family’s homes that cared so much for the smallest details of the project. The men were awesome. They did the job like they were doing it for themselves in their own home. It all starts with John who was great. The girls in the office were so nice also. Friendly and helpful. My family pick up our xmas trees and other decor here every year. We also meet Santa and take pics with the kids. It makes for a special moment and memory starting with the tree.

I rarely write reviews, but... decided to shop local to support a bellmore business; I purchased 3 ornamental grass plants that never grew. The gentleman was not at all friendly and when I mentioned that the plants were a bit skinny, he said it takes a season or two for them to fill out...that was 2 years ago and they look horrible, like weeds. I have many other grass plants around my home which are large and healthy looking. I will be pulling them out this weekend and replacing with other plants from a different nursery. I cannot return them. They were expensive and I will not be purchasing from old mill again.
