Wonderful work and fantastic prices.I brought my boots in to be resoled, and the shop owner offered same day turnaround. He replaced the leather soles and added a new heel as well.I’ll be bringing the rest of my boots and birkenstocks here to be resoled, as well as my fiancé’s boots.I’m so happy such quality work is available in town! I’ll be able to extend the life of my favorite shoes and support a small business while I’m at it.

Alex always custom-fit my needs. Alex is an expert and the only one in town who knows how to make/ repiar shoes and belts in th eold way. I noticed the number is disconnected and the shop door closed. Has he retired?

Amazing service, resoled my redwing boots (and polished them up like new for no extra charge) for a reasonable price when another shop tried to charge almost twice as much. Boots look better than ever! Would go here again in a second.

Im not a fan of writing reviews immediately following a bad experience but here I am and Ill tell you why: Ive given this business a second chance and they failed to even show up. Im giving 2 stars because the initial work was done to expectations but subsequent actions led to very poor satisfaction. Background: I brought my trusty 5 year old Lowa hiking books in to be re-soled in early December 2018. The man at the counter was gruff, terse, and used very few words for our business transaction. No problem for me because the boots were finished on time and the worked looked and felt good. About 3 months later, I started to notice that the adhesive used was beginning to break down and just 2 weeks ago the sole on my left boot started to peel off completely.I figured Id give them another chance to get this right and would have been willing to pay for the labor (not parts though, everything was intact with very little wear and tear).I showed up today at 9:59 am expecting to wait a few minutes and be the first in the door as they opened. As time goes on, Im joined by 2 other potential customers as we stand and wait (the picture Ive attached is their posted business hours). One customer left after 10 minutes, another left after 15, and I left after 25. Sorry, but if you cant do work right the first time OR bother to show up on time to your business, you dont deserve my money or anyone elses. If it was just one of those issues, Id be willing to give a pass. But not both.

Wonderfull!! He has done work for me for so many things - boots, bag strap repairs and he does a wonderful job on everything. My shoes always come out looking new and he even put new laces in a pair for me. He also dyed a pair of boots for me and they look great and brand new. Go here for any kind of leather work and repair.

For ten dollars the shop quickly repaired the strap stitching on my favorite backpack. Without having been asked he also went out of his way to buff, shine, and quickly burn off loose threads across the bag. All in about ten minutes. This is what small town shop service ought to always be!

I took in two pairs of boots to be re-soled and fixed up a bit and he did an excellent job. I brought them in on a Tuesday and he said they would be ready by that Thursday. I didnt have time to pick them up until the following Tuesday, but they were indeed ready and looked great! It cost $72, which I thought at first was a little high, but considering the state of the boots prior to repair, and the fact that either pair of boots, if bought new, would cost more than that, I think it is fair. The man running the business is courteous and efficient.

I brought in a pair of 20 year old RedWing boots that the soles were completely gone on. I took them to the RedWing store to see if they could be resoled at the factory and they said no that they were too far gone. I brought them here and voila new original soles installed in just a couple of days at a reasonable price. Im ecstatic!

I feel like I got a new pair of shoes! I needed the Velcro replaced on my work shoes. The whole process only took 10 minutes and he replaced my insoles free of charge (mine we really worn) and he polished them and made them look really nice. The entire visit only costed me $15 to revamp my $145 shoes.. I highly recommend, I will be back for any more of my shoe repair needs.

Brought in a pair of heels that had been seen better days. He fixed them in less than 15 minutes. Wore them that night, walked all over downtown, danced my booty off, they were like new again. Good price. Definitely recommend!

My experience with this place was so bad that it almost doesnt seem real when I write it. I took some sandals in for repair. He said they would be ready in three days. Two months later, when I finally reclaimed them from him, they were still not repaired, and he would not refund the money I paid him in full up front. In the meantime, he gave me NINE different completion dates (I made 11 trips to the store, as twice I found the store closed during their posted open hours). Each time I went in later, sometime several days later, than the promised completion date. I tried to reclaim the shoes after six trips to the store over six weeks, but he showed me the parts he had successfully received and insisted he would be doing the repair that night. Three days later--nope. He talked me out of taking the shoes back two more times. Cant believe I kept falling for this and making trips to that store. The final time, he tried to talk me out of it again, but I insisted, and he said he wouldnt give me my money back because he had purchased parts to fix the shoes.Everytime I went, he was talking with a friend on the phone--never saw him repairing any shoes. Maybe it is those friends who have written the good reviews on Google. This fellow should be reported somewhere--dont know where. A real scam.

I brought in a really old beat up vintage pair of Nike hiking boots that I love. The sole was falling off and there was a hole tearing through the front. I got them back looking like a brand new pair within a couple of days! Im really happy with how they turned out. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

My soles on my Birkenstock’s were wearing thin, so I took them in to be replaced. The owner said it would take 2 days, and when I returned my shoes were ready. The new soles are authentic Birkenstock soles, and although it’s only been a few days, it seems like the repair job will hold up over time.

They replaced a zipper in my boots that would have replaced for $25. Thank you for still being around to repair shoes. He even polished them before I left asking for the other one so he could make that one shine too. Dont be too hard on businesses that might not have a instant turn around when they do something so rare and do it so well. I got my boot back in 3 days. It took me 6 months to get it there. LOL

Very poor customer service and quality of work. Brought in a pair of shoes for repair that poor work was done on. The shoe needed immediate repair again on the sole that was glued and I brought it back to show him. He said he would fix the work that was done and when I came for pick up 10 min later he refused to give them to me unless I paid ANOTHER $10 on the additional $25 I had paid a month earlier. Was externally rude, and did not initially say he would charge me extra for work he had not completed in the first place.

Avoid this place!! He charged $60 to repair soles on my boots and in the process, somehow sowed the inside and I can’t get them on! He’s had them for 4 months to “fix” his mistake and is now saying they must not have fit me right in the first place. He’s hung up on me when I called to inquire. And, absolutely no refund because he’s already worked on them, even if they don’t fit anymore. I’m going to file a complaint with the BBB. He’s really awful!

My boots are like new again, only better! I took my all-time favorite five-year old leather Ugg boots to Bham Shoe Repair on Monday with some serious problems. They were caked in mud from last years winter rains, the sole was peeling off the bottom, and the sewed edges were starting to peel up too. When I picked up my boots on Thursday of that same week, they looked like they were brand-new (only they also looked beautifully soft and broken-in at the same time) with new stitching, new soles, and gorgeous polish. To have my favorite shoes brought back to life again, I would have paid fifty dollars or more, but I was surprised that the price was much less than that. Bham Shoe Repair is affordable and produces very high-quality work. I will definitely be back.

Yeah, he lies about having product ready by certain date; basically waits for you to show up surprised. He will boss you around and not allow a refund, even though he hasnt started work yet and failed to meet the garuntee due date. Basically a con artist. I recommend having a police officer waiting outside when you ask for a refund. Good luck!

Im so mad I dont know what to say. I took two pairs of leather boots in. The man said come back tomorrow. I returned two days later. Had to help him find my shoes and stood there while he wiped polish on my boots in front of me for about 10 seconds. The other pair he claimed he shined already and it was obvious he had not shined them. I will never go back. For thirty dollars Ill pay someone else.

Ugh. Took my birkenstocks here to be resoled and get new cork. The Hilton where I bought them gave me his info and one other place in town they said worked on them. The guy insisted on payment, took my money and wrote the amount and illegible signature on the back of his card. Told me he didnt need a name or any other info from me. Promised they would be done the next day. I came back with all three of my kids in tow again after the twenty minute drive to town...nope said he was waiting for the corks. Ok I give the benefit of doubt. Next time a few days later still no after another trip in there. Next time a few days after he said they would be done again....he is sitting on his phone in front of shop my shoes on the workbench in back. He says not done. Something about it being hard because its so hot or something. So thats another trip wasted and still no birks. What should have been two days has been about two weeks now and I still dont have my shoes. He promised he would try this weekend. Told me to come back Monday or Tuesday. I sure hope my shoes are done!

My experience here was very upsetting. I felt bullied and intimidated by the angry owner. He repeatedly lied about when my shoes would be ready, refused to give me a refund even though he had not started working on my shoes days after he guaranteed they would be ready and blamed his health problems on his customers. This was by far the worst experience I have had with any business ever and I wish I could prevent others from going through what I did.
