Talked to him on Tuesday, asked about bringing in my jonsered and craftsman chainsaws for servicing. When I showed up with them on Friday, he said he couldnt service either brand.

Norm did a nice job diagnosing a bad head on my Briggs engine. Unfortunately this was after another shop replaced 3 head gaskets (1 every 12 months) and told me this was common with my engine. I’ve been running my mower for a couple years now with no more head gasket problems. Thank you Norm!!!

I brought a trimmer to this guy that wouldnt idle. He kept it for over a week then said it was unfixable and I needed to buy a new one. I bought a new carburetor on Amazon for $16 it took me 20 minutes to put it on and it runs excellent.

Real nice guy, went over the problem with me and described what he thought was wrong. Early Spring is obviously the busiest time of the year but turn around was great. Definitely would recommend. Will come back if the need arises again.

I called around for prices to tune up our zero turn. Norms price beat everyone in Whatcom County by far! Not only are his prices very reasonable, hes honest, trustworthy and knows what hes doing. Hands down, hell have our business as long as we own a lawn.

The owner, Norm, is a quiet, friendly, and HONEST person. I heard he worked on equipment other than mowers, so I took a Mantis tiller to him that wouldnt start. I was ready to haul it to the dump, but gave him a shot at it. He looked at it, made a couple of minor adjustments, and it started right up. He then gave me some tips on starting this machine in the future. All for a price that was embarrassingly cheap. A few months later I took him a Mac chainsaw (which he normally doesnt work on for lack of available parts). But, the identified the problem, found a parted unit in the back, and then replaced the bad part part. In about 15 minutes I had a functioning unit again at a tenth of the price of buying a new one. This guy knows what he is doing and is honest. I highly recommend him for all your small engine jobs.

Fantastic service. Brought an old lawn mower in that I couldn’t get started and Norm had it pulled apart and put back together in about 20 mins. Runs like a charm now!

Took a mower in and he was able to give a quick assessment of the problem and gave a few options for solutions. Not that I want another broken tool, but I know where Ill go if I have one!

With the latest power outages they were extremely busy but still repaired and got my generator back to me in less than an hour and for a great price. This is where I will be taking my business from now on.

Norman is a very honest and straightforward guy. Has a sixth sense for what is wrong with lawn equipment. If you want to know what mower to buy if yours is ready for replacement, its Honda (from Home Depot because they are cheaper than the other guys). Also, Norman will hope that you heed his warning to go out of your way to buy gasoline which is ethanol free. There are places in Bellingham to buy it, but I buy it at a feed store in Ferndale with pumps out front. In my opinion, if you cant buy ethanol free gasoline, then buy PRI-G fuel additive and stabilizer. It is much better than Stabil and will actually somewhat revive old gas. I buy it on Amazon, but have also seen it in some of the marine supply stores down on the harbor.

Honest Guy for sure. I called Norm about my echo chain saw, which was shutting off and not starting after using to cut a couple of logs. He gave me a couple of suggestions and then offered to look at it for me. I was fearing one possible problem he mentioned which was a damaged piston. However, to my surprise it just need the gas mix to be adjusted. He had my chain saw sawing logs without shutting off in a matter of 5 mins. This guy knows his stuff and has even more experience than my 20 years experience in computer and laptop repair.

This guy is not only a lawn mower wizard, hes also the nicest ! Id like to say everybody should take their mowers to him, but Im afraid he might get too busy to fix my mowers. By the way, he has to fix them due to neglected maintenance on my part. They get dirty and rained on.
