Once in a while you meet people who have the same commitment to service and our community as yourself. During our recent snow storm Greg went above and beyond the call of duty to help our team when we needed to service our border and keeping the staff there safe and freely moving. He worked with our crew to get the product we needed when he was closed and his day off. We are honored to serve our community with stellar individuals like the HD Fowler team.

So I had some Christmas lights installed on my house last year, installers name not important. I was sold on the lights he was installing as he told me they come from HD Fowler in Bellingham and are commercial grade, over 50+ thousand hours of life in them, “these aren’t the kind of lights you buy at your local store.” I was told.They installed and after the install was complete, the workers noticed four lights not turning on. They switched the bulbs and then they all worked. The following night, I noticed two more lights were out. I called the installers and they quickly replaced the bulbs. Two nights more go by and I have another light out. Brand new lights and within three days, we swapped out 7 bulbs! Great lights........ By the end of the season, we had swapped out a total of 10 lights.After complaining to the installer, he advised me that every house carrying those lights from this seasons install were having the same issues. I was told to contact Greg Hendry about the issue as the installer wasn’t getting a resolution from him. Greg told me he understands there was an issue with the lights this year and that he is working on a resolution. Months go by with no response. Finally, after several e-mails and phone calls, Greg writes and tells me they are working on a reimbursement. The installer also told me I would be reimbursed.The next season is now upon us and I contact Greg via E-mail on a Sunday night as well as the installer. The following day I get a message from the installer that me contacting Greg Hendry on a Sunday was inappropriate as he is trying to spend time with his family........ First of all, it was an e-mail, second of all, if he’s checking his phone or computer for emails on a Sunday night, then he’s not doing a very good job spending time with his family. So, their resolution to selling me faulty lights, knowing they were faulty lights, knowing several homes in Lynden have been complaining since they were initially installed, telling me they were working on a resolution and then telling me they were working on a reimbursement, was to give me a handful of c7 bulbs, and an unknown amount of c9 wire and bulbs. No money back, no full replacement for what I paid for!Greg then gets the installer to turn on me, saying that THEY are the ones losing out on this deal!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!!!! If winning is getting bad lights and then a roll of more of the same bad lights while you get 100% of my money, then please, let me be the loser, give me my money back, and you can have these awesome lights you sold me. I’ll take that loss. Give me a break. Horrible service, i was never reimbursed for the broken lights that never worked to start with, HD Fowler fully knows that they sold me, and many other homes in my neighborhood, faulty lights. They knew they were faulty within the first couple days of having them installed. I was not compensated for it.SMALL CLAIMS WILL BE MY NEXT CALL, unless I am refunded. This is horrible business!!!!!!!The integrity of this company is ZERO. There is no mystery or missing information in this situation. They sold me broken and I immediately told them, and they say, well too bad. Thanks for the money, here’s a handful of bulbs, 6 to be exact.

I like this company because not only do they have good people working for them but the company itself treats the employees very good. Kind of company that if you go to another job and it does not work out you are allowed to come back to Fowler. I call bob when I need some parts but the rest of the guys are great and will go out of there way to find if they do not have what you need.
