Wonderful brick and mortar shop with a great selection of comics, board games and graphic novels. The staff is really knowledgeable and so friendly, and they really care about thheir community.

An amazing place for comics and dnd figures. They also have some Pokemon cards! The staff is friendly and very informative for your comic needs. The only downside I can find is that they dont have Warhammer figures

Workers are pretty helpful. I can find things easily because categories are in certain areas. I only come here for manga, but I always know where to go. Sometimes it takes a while for an order to come in, but its not their fault. Atmosphere is friendly. Id totally recommend it for comics.

They have a spectacular selection of new and classic comics and manga series, board games, fun memorabilia, and just a lot of cool stuff in general. Today, I used their online store to order a new game for me and my quarantine friends to play and they delivered it the same day! Even with a great shop run by just a handful of really cool folks, I didnt think it would be done so quickly, so I am very very impressed! This is a business that deserves your support! Other highlights include transparency about their abilities to deliver outside of Bellingham, easy shopping, AMAZING selection of table top games and other nerdy endeavors. My only complaint is that for whatever reason their online shopping platform was difficult to use on my phone, which isnt their fault at all. Love this place.

They canceled three orders in a row with no explanation. Orders were placed online and confirmed then received emails a few minutes later of canceled orders. Need to do better job at online inventory if Three different listed items are not for sale or available for whatever reason.

Ive yet to get a bad recommendation.On top of their incredible knowledge they are all super nice and helpful. I play a weekly game here that we migrated from another store. Not only did they take us in, but theyve been so helpful and incredible in getting product for us and making sure we have what we need.I cannot recommend this store enough!

Locally owned comic store with lots of history and knowledge. The staff here know their stuff and will give you great ideas if you are looking for something new or just some suggestions. They have a very large selection of new and old as well as many publishers. You can spend your whole day just looking at the selection and the staff will answer any questions you have. They also have a good selection of nerd stuff if you are looking for more. They often host games or trivia events which is a great community builder. Love this shop.

I love this store. I’ve been coming to The Comics Place for over 30 years. The staff has always been welcoming to a diverse customer base and always ready to talk comics. There are tons of books for every taste — collectibles, mainstream super hero stuff, alternative, indie, and local artists. I’m so happy at the many improvements, new location, and expansion into games and merch. I’ve been to hundreds of comic shops and The Comics Place is among the best anywhere.

Visited for the first time and really enjoyed the easygoing and friendly atmosphere. Everything was well-organized and staff seemed both approachable and knowledgeable. I also picked up a few awesome new comics, as well as a few back issues that I have been searching for

Incredible staff. They are always willing to help you find the comics you want and their prices are very fair. When you subscribe to a series, they give you half off all variants and you get a discount on Trade Paperbacks when you are subscribed to 10 or more series. They are always looking to give you helpful advice and direction on what comics to read next. Highly recommend!

Excellent local spot for all manner of good things, in a beautiful building to boot.They also have a great end of year sale in late December with some great deals on games, comics, dice, anything you could want from a comics shop and more.Also, the alcove right outside their doors has excellent acoustics for practicing your maniacal laughter, should you have use for such practice.

Favorite local comic place! I love the fact that they are not only versed in the obvious popular Comics like Marvel and DC but they are also familiar and willing to hook you up with weird unique and original Comics as well. They are super helpful if youre trying to figure out what to read next or what order things going, everyone I met there has been super friendly, and no one is ever been pushy or upselling. Its a business full of people with good humor and great personalities and I adore them for that. In addition to Comics they also have a nice selection of RPGs dice board games and hilarious things that really defy description. So treat yourself and support local go to the comics place!

Whether youre looking for an odd board game, funny hat, local comic author, or start your little human on the comic game; this is your store! My family and I probably spent more time in this store than we shouldve, but with all the amazing pieces this store has to offer, we couldve gone even longer! The gentlemen working were very knowledgeable and non judgmental; as we are not fully into all aspects of the comic/gamer world, we had some questions and they were answered fully and with a smile. There was a little something for all of us and by that I mean my husband, myself, and our 5 year old daughter who just couldnt get over how much Rick and Morty merch was here! Thanks for making our first visit one to remember guys and we will most certainly be back!

Jeffery and Braiden (sorry if I misspelled your names!) were the friendliest and most welcoming gentlemen Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with at a comic shop. Ive never read a comic in my life and they were really cool about my ignorance. They even shook my hand and formally introduced themselves to me at the end of the transaction. What a great experience.

I went there with my kids (12 and 15) and the staff was great, so kind to invite us to their game room upstairs. Just the fact they were accommodating and pretty much normal good people... but what superhero or super villain lurks under their clothes is obviously a nice one 👍🏼🤘

Always fun to go to a nice store with very knowledgeable people. When i was last there i brought in some older comics from my grandfathers collection. They were able to price them for me and buy them from me if i wanted. Their still in my collection but, its nice to know what they are worth.

Full disclosure, I work here. But I think I can say Id be a loyal customer even if I didnt. Lots of new comics, lots of back issues, lots of trade paperbacks. And a great, and growing, game selection. Plus, I think you can tell the staff is having fun and genuinely interested in getting the right comic or game in your hands.

Best place in town to get your comics and gaming supplies. The store also hosts a space for different gaming groups to hold weekly matches. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

This place is delightful. Im sure their comics knowledge is great, but I need to give a shout-out to the owners board game savvy. He was able to give a great recommendation for a game that my blind friend could play. It turned out to be a fun game for everyone that my friend could play with just a few minor tweaks. All in all, a great experience with very helpful staff!

Definitely the best comic store in the area! They have a great selection, and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Back issues are half off on Thursday, and they even have a great selection of $1 comics! The only logical choice for comic collectors in B-ham.

This place feels like the Cheers of comic book stores. I walk in and the awesome staff greets me by name and pulls out my file of tempting comics! The Comics Place is my favorite comic book store in the city. Everybody here is really nice and makes an effort to remember customers. Ive had multiple comics recommended to me and fell in love with all of them. There are issues, volumes, graphic novels, comic history books, posters, and merch for all of your favorite comics. They also sell board games, as well as some things for RPGs. You can always find some cool dice for your next Dungeons and Dragons campaign.

Great selection of board games, comics, and assorted geekery. Pinball tables in the back, any room for you to play board games, RPGs, etc, upstairs (check the schedule).

I loved this place! I stopped in here a couple months ago with my wife and our bestie, and it was hard not to walk out with half the store. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. The selection of comics, toys, and Funko Pop figures was first-rate, the atmosphere was inviting, and if I lived closer, Id be in there just about every day.

To be honest, my main interest in this place is that they offer a night a week for people to come and play board games. I do not very many acquaintances for which to play games with and this provides to meet other people with similar interest in gaming.

Ive often struggled finding a good comic to read because I dont know where to start.A lot of other comic shops make you feel like a dolt for not knowing whats good, The Comics Place in Bellingham team all do a good job being approachable and accommodating.One thing thats caused me to buy way more comics this year than anywhere else is Comics Place team members asking what other types of fiction I like and picking something based on my tastes rather than lazily pointing to a rack of the new stuff or just telling me THEIR favorites. Its a big differentiator and one of the main things that keeps me from buying online.

The staff are always helpful. They have a tone of information and great recommendations. There is a ton of comics and their table top selection is great. I go to Bellingham from stanwood just to shop here.

Im new to comic books as of writing this. I feel so welcome here (did not expect that!) Service is excellent. Jeff will always lead me to a new series and answers my questions. What an incredible place. Endless trade paperbacks, everything new, tons of omnibus selections, numerous classics, huge dollar section, and boxes and boxes of back issues. Pop figures, board games, kids books, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards (new and vintage). Even pinball machines to pass the time. Visit and hang out.
