The Dance Studio has been an incredible place for both of our girls as well as myself for dance classes the last 6 years. There is always a variety of dance classes offered and times available. During this unpredictable time of a Pandemic, the staff have pivoted (little dance pun intended!) and done an incredible job of making things work for the students and families while also following safety protocols that make me feel great about sending my girls to dance. This studio provides excellent dance technique coupled with fun and building a genuine love for dance.The dance productions put on by TDS are so fun and you can tell the dancers are proud to perform. The studio offers multiple opportunities to perform throughout the year as well.The facility itself is clean, bright, and inviting. The Dance Shop, which is also part of the studio, is always stocked with dance attire and shoes which has saved me many times when my kids’ feet grow into a new size every minute or mange to tear holes in their tights. Never fear, The Dance Shop has got your back! If you are looking to join a dance studio, you will love The Dance Studio.

One or the other of my children and myself have been dancing at this studio for the past 12 years -- I cant imagine we will ever NOT consider the studio part of our family. This studio caters to the growing/developing child -- promotes healthy emotional AND physical progress -- in a non-judgmental setting. The positivity and joy of the teachers and staff has kept us coming back. Over the years, I have watched the most serious dancers soar in their developing skills; i have also watched the less serious dancers (myself included) excel in learning self-acceptance and embracing the joy of movement. Through really trying times in our community and in my own personal life, I have been exceptionally/repeatedly grateful for The Dance Studio. Bravo, Ms. Britt!

I’ve been tap dancing for about 15 years. When I moved to Bellingham a few years ago I was worried I wouldn’t find a dance studio that offered adult tap classes. I was beyond thrilled to find Britt’s intermediate class at The Dance Studio. She is a wonderful and creative teacher that brings joy to me every week when I attend. The other students are super nice too! I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn to dance or continue on that journey.

Was nervous about returning to dance as an adult but strapping those tap-makers to my feet has been the highlight of my week for the last 4 years. The friendships I have made within those walls are special and I treasure them all. As long as Miss Britt has room for me in her class, Ill be there!

I went to the dance studio for years and it was one of the highlights of my childhood. I had so much fun, I learned how to exercise and stretch my body, and I built a lot of confidence through recitals! They have been a long time favorite of many families I know and I would recommend this studio to anyone.

Ive taught dance for 40 yrs and this studio is so run down....unprofessional (like not paying instructors....lacking talent (passed down to the daughter)....etc etc. Waste of time and money

The Dance Studio has been teaching students for 35 years in Whatcom County. We had 3 students audition and were accepted in Jeoffrey Ballet this summer, 2013. We have traveled to Australia 5 different times performing, once to Japan and this summer 8 students are traveling to Finland to perform. Besides the Spring Performance every year at the Mt. Baker Theatre, Brittany Setter (owner/director), has written a Christmas Program - Saving Christmas Town which is performed in December, 4-5 productions at Bellingham High School. A great ballet based studio where students take tap, hip hop, jazz, musical theater, adagio, pointe and are well rounded in their dance experiences. Thousands of children have passed thru our studio over the years and many have gone on to professional dance companies. The Dance Studio offers the Best Dance Experience in Bellingham.
