I take guitar lessons here and am always happy to go. The staff people are very nice and remember you after just a few visits. Even when they are busy, they have a smile and a cheery hello for everyone. The music teachers that I have met are all nice as well.

I love this place. Staff is helpful when it comes to finding what you need or redirecting you to another store that has it. Fun things to make memories with the family.

I take my flute here for its annual maintenance (i.e. oiling of the pads, general adjustments, cleaning etc.). The flute technician is very professional and nice. The price is reasonable. I paid 85 for my flute maintenance, which was very within my budget. The main store employee I usually see, Lara (or maybe Laura) is very polite and kind. Would recommend the annual maintenance for other musicians as well!

I have been going here for years for my son, hes changed instruments a few times for school, and he has taken private lessons here as well. Everyone who works here is personable and helpful, they know everything they need to know about all things music, which is hugely helpful since I know nothing! Its a family run business and they go the extra mile. Mike and Kyle are especially helpful, they always make me laugh!

Ive been going to this store for a little over a year now and have gotten to know some of the people that work there. Everyone is helpful and courteous. Returns are easy. And, one time when I had a problem with a clarinet repair, the store manager made everything right. Its important to me to have a local music store. Mail order is fine for some things, but having a store where I can try things out first is way important. Thats why Im giving this review. Ive been meaning to do it for a while. Please help support this important local business.

Friendly staff. Good selection. Prices for the items I was looking for were equal to or less than Amazon, which is pretty amazing these days.

Its great to have an instrument shop not far away. Handy to be able to get a band instrument repair nearby, as well as pick up accessories and music. I support this store where possible instead of ordering online, as I want to be able to have this kind of resource in the neighborhood.

We have been a customer for almost fifteen years and their service and attention is what keep us loyal. From renting entry-level instruments for school to buying high-end instruments theyre the place to go on the Eastside. We were just there today and Kyle did a great job in helping my daughter to select exactly what she was looking for.

This week I suddenly had a hankering for a ukulele, I stopped by this kennelly keys on my way home from the gym. Ive played guitar for a few years but in no way am I confident in selecting a good brand of ukulele. The nice young lady working came over and sat down on the floor with me and helped me pick one out. She didnt even care that I was sweating still from my work out. Classy girl and great shop. Will definitely be stopping by again when I need new strings and whatever else. Thanks again!

Good selection but make sure to get the right person to help you. I had Mike help me picking out a piano-- professional friendly and helpful.I cant say much about some of the other associates though.

Its a good place to buy music accessories, like music books, rosin, and strings, but not good if you want to repair an instrument or get an instrument accessory. They sell stuff for all instruments making the staff not trained well for certain types of instruments. When I went there to get new strings the staff offered to replace the strings for me. They charged for it, but later I found that they set up the strings wrong showing how inexperienced the person was. Another problem with them having stuff for all instruments is that they have narrow selections of instrument accessories. I went there to buy a bow once, but there was only one type of bow that wasnt carbon fiber. They told me to check with them a week later to see if they had any new bows, but they didnt. And even though the bow costed $100 it wasnt that good of a bow, I was way satisfied with another bow I bought later at a different music store for about the same price. The only thing thats keeping me from giving this store a 1 star is that they have proved useful for me getting new rosin and music books.

I came into the store to find the bass guitar I wanted. It wasnt until the second visit when Mike took me and guided me to the shiny crimson red Yamaha bass. This bass is mine now, and I cannot wait to master my virtuosity. Thank you Michael for his knowledgeable suggestions and history background (on the brand of the bass), and Kyle, who gathered all the beginners basics. My budget must have been $300 or less. Somehow I ended spending $364.--- 199.99 along with a Fender amplifier and guitar cable. I hope to aspire the talents of a musician.thanks Mike &Kyle!!

Wanted to give a kudos for your rep Tyler, whom I usually work with when I come to the store.Today I came in with a broken accessory pedal that I had just recently purchased. It was knocked off stage by accident on a gig and slammed into the floor. Unfortunately, the warranty on it only covered faulty parts or workmanship, not accidents.Tyler assisted me through the process of figuring out my options. and he had already researched the warranty info and setup a replacement order.On informing me that the repair shop may take 4-6 weeks I opted for the replacement because I have shows and cannot wait. Fortunately I had a credit card good only at Kennelly Keys that could cover it, but he was able to get me interest-free for 6 mos, which helps.His speedy assistance and having all the information already looked up before I got there made the process a lot less time-consuming and painful than it could have been.So I wanted to give Tyler a shout out for that!

Open on Sundays, decent selection of stringed new and used instruments, helpful staff.

I went in on Saturday and was extremely happy with the help I received. The staff was very respectful and polite. Michael was the employee helping me and thanks to him I found everything I was looking for and got it with excellent service.

I got a good instrument from them played really well, but sometimes, the staff seemed pretty sluggish. Although, it isnt too bad since I only have to be for like 5 minutes to check in and check out the trombone. It was a rental.

Seems like a great shop, although rather uncomfortable shopping experience. Dude was riding my tail, I was tempted to take my purchases elsewhere on account of this trailing. Only to find my lady friend who came with was approached in an uncomfortable way. I’ll stick to the lynnwood K Keys

They pack a lot of stuff into their teeny shop! Lots of instruments and sheet music. I bought a keyboard there and love it.

I walked by our neighborhood KK this morning and bought a set of strings for my guitar. Michael Landin who works at this store gave me a warm greeting and helped me finding what I needed. The atmosphere of the store and people who work there is so friendly and great that I recommend my musician friends to shop there. Thank you Michael

Extremely not helpful staff. This guys got irritated when I asked him about the difference between two products and started looking away to not answer any more questions.

The shop may be good, the selection could be great, but the one person servicing the store is a jerk. He acted all high and mighty and condescending, entirely unhelpful. Would never shop here again, that person ruined the experience.

We went here for a repair. The guy who supposedly helped us was horrible. We did our repair, went to pick it up to find it still broken. Apparently he only fixed one part of a two part process and started blabbing at us. So we got the second part, and went to pick it up. Then, ANOTHER part was broken, causing us to go there a third time. They started to babble at us even more, saying we might have broken it, etc etc. this caused a war between us, until they just said make him happy. This was very impolite on their part. Staff is horrible, service is trash, would not recommend here.

Great selection of ukuleles, but the staff wasnt helpful and they kept the sound system music playing so loud that it was hard to get a sense of what the instruments sounded like.
