I was introduced to Cépaé by my friends today. The pastries and tea are simply amazing, but I am more obsessed with the bears in this place. I know theyre just stuffed animals, but who cant resist sitting next to a stuffed bear in this cute place?The service is great, staff is very friendly and super patient. I ordered the blueberry pastry and it was delicious. There wasnt a lot left considering it was an hour before closing so I may stop by again in the future.

Really wanted to like this place, but the service an minimal menu items available made it extremely hard. We went for brunch and many of the food items on the menu were not available. Also, all of the champagne and Rose was sold out so no mimosas as well. Many times if this happens restaurants will offer an alternative, but not in this case. The food we were able to order was ok, but definitely not something I would come back for.

Wonderful ambiance and decent wine. The wine markup is a bit steeper than Im used to at about 300% for a run of the mill bottle of Bordeaux, but the service and food makes up for it. The new head chef is personable and sociable and when not busy will spend a few minutes talking to each table.

Great coffee and pastries. The wine bar and Parisian cafe share the space. Saturday night and there is a great band playing French jazz. We will stay to try the Happy Hour menu at 9pm.

We were excited to try this French inspired restaurant with our in-laws. We were a party of 4 for dinner at 5 pm. There is a nice slideshow of Paris inspired experiences displayed on a projector. Where staff exceeded in friendliness, they lacked experience in a restaurant service. For example they were unsure of which wines they had (even though their website boasts 120+ wines & a tasting room) & expressed they did not know much about wines. However, they never offered to bring over someone who knew or a sommelier. We ordered a charcuterie to start. They did not know how to pronounce all of the cheeses. Our four courses were: duck burger ( no frites) at $26, halibut $38 (no sides) truffle pasta (were out of the gnocchi) $29, & risotto $34. The duck burger was chewy, the halibut was salty & dry. I enjoyed the truffle pasta, the risotto was bland. Very disappointed & definitely not fine dining. They didn’t even have sparkling water. I wouldn’t have minded paying the prices we did had the food & wine matched our expectations. We won’t be coming here anytime soon.

Cepae Lexperience Paris - I hosted a large brunch for my moms birthday at this location. They were wonderful! The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the staff was very helpful - as I organized this from overseas. Thank you again for making our event so memorable and elegant. Merci Bien.

One of the coolest new places around!! Cépaé International Tasting Room is a tip of the hat to Woodinville’s beautiful wineries; they offer a selection (growing weekly it seems) of some of the greatest wine producers the world has.Their unique concept offers EVERY wine by ‘tasting’ size (0.5oz) and ‘glass’ size (5oz); ranging from a few dollars for a taste to 99$ for a glass of Echezeaux Grand Cru or Chateau Calon Segur ‘10. In addition they offer all the bottles by retail at amazing prices.Attached to the ‘tasting room’ is the amazing La Parisienne Bakery. They have an amazing menu that lines up to wine pairings but also showcases an authentic French menu that anyone can learn and enjoy.I’d recommend to anyone that loves the different cultures of the world; but even more so to those that are learning about wine, Cépaé will let you try tons of new world and old world wines. Let them know your industry!!

This is one of my favorite place in Bellevue where you can try French delicacy and French wines. The staff is very professional and the manager is a human.

My wife and Is visit to Cepae was a terrific experience! We decided to sit at the bar during happy hour. My wife tried a flight of 3 different white wines and I decided to try a flight of 3 different red wines plus adding in their happy hour wine on their menu.You can pretty much try any wine they have available for a very affordable price, especially being in Downtown Bellevue! Most of the wines youre able to taste for between $2.00 and $3.00 from what I could remember. Their happy hour menu was quite tasty as well as we chose to get a little tasting place of cheeses, meats, and other hors doeuvres...bread with butter was yummy too!The service is top notch, their sommelier, who served us was very knowledgeable and made our experience even better.On a nice day, youre able to sit outside. They even serve coffee from Victrola Coffee Roasters, sell French pastries and other products, and you can purchase unique wines that youre unable to find in most of the big box retailers since they have a direct relationship with the manufacturers.We will definitely go back to Cepae and try some other wines. This place trumps the other wine spots imho... Enjoy!

Food mediocre at best. Horrible service.

This is my favorite french café/ wine tasting place in the United states. I travel often to France and I can assure you, you can’t get much closer to real french food than Cepae (without boarding a plane).The coffee is delicious and the pastries while expensive are worth every penny.The workers here are extremely knowledgeable of wine and their selection for french wine is unmatched in the region.They also have amazing customer service skills that would put any Parisian restaurant to shame.If you like delicious food and beverage, this is the place for you!

Cépaé is a true gem in downtown Bellevue. You can get amazing French wines by the glass along with carefully curated cheeses and other delicious food options. The staff is very knowledgeable, passionate and fun to talk to about The wines. One of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon!

What amazing patisserie and wine bar so close to the office. I have to say the wine menu is extensive and inclusive of almost all price points. Theres also room to sit and chat on the patio. I love the ambience here and will be back!

Great selection of wines from small or medium size French wineries that the big importers don’t touch. Great value fir the money and opportunity to truly understand the French varietals. Enough small bites to make a meal out of the visit unless you just want to walk out with a few cases of the good stuff.

Most dinner selections are French Sized - very small... Great if you are not very hungry - otherwise plan on ordering a few different items, and to spend accordingly.The food was very tasty 😋 and they have a huge wine selection, including the option for Small Pours so you can try a variety of different wines.They also have a very nice selection of French Pastries - we are definitely coming back to try a few of these...

As good as fine French restaurants in Paris, NY & SF! Fab ambience combined with great, professional service. Duck protégé & Lamb Rack were great. Manager checked with us to ensure we were pleased with Everything !

I love this place! They have the best pastries in the area and fantastic coffee. The ambiance is wonderful during the day, with lots of natural light and a beautiful interior. Its even better at night, warm and cozy. The staff is very friendly, and very knowledgable about their wines. Highly recommended.

My first visit was fantastic! Denise provided excellent customer service - recommended a delicious lunch. Quiet and comfy atmosphere to relax and enjoy a midday break. Will definitely be visiting again when I am back to town. 💯

Wonderful wine, and our sommelier was really knowledgeable in being able to recommend tastes to try, what would pair well with the food we chose, and was always available right when we needed him. I cant wait to come back here and try more! Its good for groups, but also is perfect for a night out with just your favorite person.

Good bottle prices, bad service. We really wanted this place to succeed but after 2 tries we’ve given up. The place was empty and so were our glasses. The guy behind the bar spent the entire time telling us that his palate was superior to ours (without ever hearing what we liked. He said he doesn’t drink Washington wine) There was more that went on, but I’ll skip that and advise giving this place a miss. The ice cream place a few doors down is good though.

Brand new place in Bellevue. Great French bakery, great wine tasting too. The selection of French wines is pretty solid and the staff is very helpful if you do not know what to go for. You can have a bite on the side too and it is delicious.

Absolutely fantastic, great prices great wine and terrific terrific food. Their happy hour is especially terrific.

Enormous wine list, with the option to do $2-3 tastings if youre indecisive. Cheese plate contained many French varieties and the buckwheat crepes were yum! Only downsides to this place are that kitchen doesnt open until 4:30, and bottles are a little expensive. Great ambiance, especially for downtown Bellevue.

I have been to Cepae several times since they opened and it is great! The wines they offer are amazing, we love French wines and they offer a huge selection of very good wines. The food there is the best. We love the pastries for breakfast, and they offer really nice lunch and happy hour/dinner food as well. You can tell the owners of this place are passionate about doing things right and taking great care of the customers. I highly recommend Cepae!

If you want very pretentious and expensive wines with very tiny food offerings come here. Dont get me wrong, the food and wine here were ok, but for the same price youd send for a few taisters and some finger food you can get a just as good bottle of wine and 2 full plates and and appetizer for the same money elsewhere.

This place is perfect. The staff and management are so friendly and so knowledgeable. They are there to help and they know so much! We asked a question to the manager... What was hisfavorite wind down wine? He gave us the most beautiful Pinot noir Ive ever tasted. we will definitely be back probably every week this summer. Just a beautiful atmosphere and a wonderful place to spend your happy hour.
