The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The store is laid out well and brings excitement just looking inside. It makes shopping a whole experience. This place is great. The kids that work in here are very knowledgeable about all the product even if they are not MS products! Many times, we start talking about one thing and end up on the other side of the store talking about something completely unrelated. It is a great place to get some great intel while the wife is shopping!

Extremely helpful and professional. We worked with Leah at the Bellevue Square location. Efficient and knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We have had horrendous issues at Apple stores and our experience here with Microsoft was pleasantly refreshing. Leah even helped fix my wifes iPhone which the Apple store refused to do.

Went in there looking to buy 4-5 laptops and ended up waiting around for someone to help us for over 15 minutes. Maybe you should hire more people or make sure that if someone comes up to the main counter for help the employees are attentive enough to notice. Ended up leaving without making a purchase because they kept helping other customers before us even though we’d been waiting longer.

Horrible customer service experience! I couldn’t charge my surface pro this morning and went to the store. After try one charger on the desk, they said there is nothing they can do about it and announced the death of my laptop. They said I will lose all the data if I haven’t backup. I was speechless and told them I can pay to get it fixed. But they said they cannot repair it but offered me $450 for a new one as my warranty on this one expired two months ago. I asked them to try different chargers and it turned out to work perfectly fine. I asked them if there is any possibility that the cable doesn’t work but the batter is fine. They said they need to test it and recommend me to back up the data as the test may cost all the data. Eventually, I asked for a new cable and guess what, it is working perfectly now!!!! What a resurrection!!!! I guess miracle does happen in life. The people I spoke with are lacking knowledge about the product, incompetent in solving problems for customers, and rude. They even argue with me that they are doing good to me. Cannot believe service at the backyard of Microsoft can be such horrible. So close to spend $450 on nothing.

Okay, I often find learning new systems frustrating....but, Ahmed A. is incredible! What a wonderful learning experience. If you take training here, he is one you want to try to schedule.Plus, shopping at this location is so pleasant. I am a recent convert from MAC and cant tell you how thrilled I am to be learning the PC system which I am finding very user-friendly. I think it helps to pick up the personal training as it has made the conversion way easier for me.

Large, bright, attractive and energetic store. Many, many Microsoft products on display and available to try out with ample staff to answer questions.I made an appointment to talk to a representative online about an XBox repair. I was able to walk right in and discuss my issue. Unfortunately my device was out of warranty, otherwise I could have just traded my XBox for a new one right there.If you have questions about a Microsoft product, definitely check this place out!

I went to this store to fix my laptop. I had some sort of problem with the OS, and could not fix it myself. The repair was free, but it wiped out everything that I had on the laptop (apps, documents, etc). I had an option of paying extra to keep all that, but chose not to. I do not remember the price for saving your stuff. They fixed everything, the laptop works great. The guy I spoke with also said that they do hardware fixes too. I didnt do it , so I do not know if they do it well, but I assume that they do. Overall nice customer service; a clean environment. The products are all great, but very pricey (that is to be expected).

I don’t understand if this is a Microsoft Store or is a play area for parents to leave their kids while they shop around in the mall. The store is overrun by kids and teenagers on weekends specially, making this store look like a gaming parlor. The experience is below standard if you are looking into checking out products.

Lots of fun and lots of foot traffic. The salesmen are very nice and easy to talk to. You can play games on their Xbox, experience virtual reality, and look at and play with their various tablets and phones. Fun experience!

Preordered an item in June and a month after it was released I still have not gotten it. Called Microsoft support who could not pass me with a supervisor because he had gone home for the day. Money was taken out of my account in June and their options are wait until December 23rd, go physically to the store to complain or purchase it again. I have not been offered the item or my money back. Support overall has been horrible. The promise is someone else will call you but no one wants to talk to me. I asked for my money back.

Microsoft at Bellevue Square has just turned into a daycare for kids to play fortnight. I’m in the market for a new gaming PC but I couldn’t even get close to the products due to crowding. Half the store is filled with loud kids that have absolutely no intention of buying anything and are only there to hang out and play a game. I do not know how Microsoft plans to sell any merchandise when you can’t even enter half the store. Very disappointed.

Employees are very nice and willing to help out. If you have specific questions and are in need of customer service, its perfect, but if youre just browsing and easily overwhelmed it can be, well, overwhelming. I found myself wanting to leave as soon as I entered; the lights are so hot and change colors so frequently they are distracting, making it hard to focus on what you are checking out.If youre neurodivergent or prone to migraine, this is not the store for you: read product reviews and buy online. If you can handle it and need a product serviced, they have friendly employees who Im sure will help you out.

Had a very similar experience to what an earlier reviewer--seems to be a common, lazy, and maybe even dishonest practice.Surface book wasnt booting up, despite the LED on my charger at home being lit indicating that it was charging. Brought it to the Bellevue Microsoft Store where a service technician quickly inspected the product and through a mere 2 minutes of troubleshooting concluded that my surface book and all its data was gone and that it was unable to be booted up because the charging light was flickering, indicating corruption of the hardware/faultiness of the battery. Announced that the only option I could take was to pay $600 for an out-of-warranty exchange with a re-manufactured Surface Book.Being doubtful and being faced with a great problem, I asked if there was a further inspection I could take with Microsoft to analyze my issue (after all, he took literally less than 5 minutes of troubleshooting to make his conclusion). He said nothing further could be done and recommended me to do the exchange. His attitude throughout our entire interaction was very unfriendly, unprofessional, and more vested toward making the $600 exchange to end with his appointment with me.I went to the Microsoft Store at UVillage, and through a much more thorough inspection there, the technician there declared that my charger had been faulty. Using an external charger of his own, he let the Surface charge on its own for 15-20 minutes, then booted the computer on perfectly.Absolutely ridiculous and lazy troubleshooting by the Bellevue technician. Would not recommend going here if you need help with a Microsoft product youve purchased.

Most recently I was in to purchase a laptop and have my data transferred from my existing laptop to the new one. Hopefully when I pick it up next week learning Windows 10 will be a good experience after I take a few classes at the Microsoft store.

I am a tech dinosaur doing my best to evolve and this Microsoft has helped me for many years----what I learned I learned from their wonderful, personable, helpful staff. I highly recommend their Assure program which includeds personal training one on one and allows me to feel less of a dumbo . If you are a senior and want to get with the modern program go there.

Visited Microsoft Store to have our XBOX One fixed. The power brick seemed to have broken. The staff were very helpful. They got a technician look at the device almost immediately. Staff were also very well informed on troubleshoot techniques and possible causes of the issue. They were also very kind to direct me to alternate options outside Microsoft to fix the power brick failure issue.Microsoft lives upto the expectations of good service.

I like the store, I like Microsoft, enjoy some of the Xbox games. I really like that you can play Xbox games on the PC and on my phone with a Xbox controller. I dont like Microsoft going to subscription based for office. Using office in the browser is not the same as opening it by its self. I especially dont like that you have to save to OneDrive in order to enable the auto save feature. If Microsoft stays this course I will try out Google docs.

When in for a scheduled tech support meet. The staff didnt have notes from the call and offered no confidence in their ability the perform a basic hard drive swap and image clone. Our main concern was making sure our file structure was copied over to the new drive along with the previous data in Microsoft Outlook. Of all the people to ask for help with this, you would think Microsoft techs would be comfortable and knowledgeable on how to do that. The technician who setup the appointment the night before was clear and confident on how this was done, but going into the store the conversation turned unorganized and unsure of their ability to do that. The turn around time was 2 to 3 days and the cost quote doubled from $49 to $98. It takes less than 15 minutes to swap a drive in a laptop, it takes maybe 3 to 4 hours to clone and transfer data. The price, time and complete lack of certainty or guarantee to do what is a fairly common task should embarrass Microsoft. I would have rather been told no on the phone and not have to of had make the trip to the store all together.

Its laid out to be much more friendly and inviting, and encourages you to interact with other people. Well, while I was really hoping the bad reviews were wrong, they were spot on. Disorganized and I mean no disrespect, but it seemed there were no adults on the premises - mostly high school kids. Trying to find out if they could help me with my Surface was like pulling teeth. The welcome person sent me back to 3 tables down to the man in the red shirt; who was helping someone install something. I went back and then the same welcome person sent me to the person in the green shirt. I explained I am on my lunch hour; and he told me he couldnt help. Only people at the 3rd table - who were busy and there was no clear organization.Finally I talked to someone how had a big grin on his face - I think to make me feel better - and said the next appointment is at 2:30. I should have made my appointment online.I left frustrated and again wondering why I use Microsoft products or do any upgrades. I will not go back to this store - it just seemed like it was for highschool kids only run by kids. Which is cool if that is what they are going for and if you can actually get good service.

Every time I enter Im blown away with Microsofts attention to detail when it comes to customer service. From buying a new phone to getting my desktop tower serviced (for free!) every experience has been a positive one. The friendly associates are empowered to do what it takes to make you happy, sometimes at significant cost to the company.My Surface Pro 1 was showing signs of hard drive failure - I went in, had it looked over, and was told that while they couldnt fix the issue, they COULD give me a brand new Surface Pro 3, all for free. I had purchased the Microsoft Complete protection plan along with the tablet originally, but had no idea it granted that kind of swap-out! They also let me exchange my Surface 1 Type Cover for a Surface 3 Type Cover, as the size had changed with the new model. - even though it wasnt covered by Microsoft Complete itself. The sales associate I worked with didnt have to okay the upgrade with a manager - he was empowered to do it himself, without any additional hassle.Ive never been upsold on a product or piece of software, and in my experience theyve gone out of their way to avoid charging me whenever possible.It may be a byproduct of being a store one city over from Redmond, but regardless, if you want anything from a computer checkup to a new tablet, this is definitely the place to go.

I have to share an amazing experience we had at this location. My son (with very noticeable autism) showed up late in the evening at their store because he noticed a robot earlier in the day. By the time we showed up the robot was being charged. The gentleman in the front took one look at my wide eyed son and said he would reboot it and bring it out. They proceeded to stay with us for a considerable amount of time so my son could warm up and interact with the robot. I wanted to cry because this kind gesture made my sons summer. Thank you!!!

Consistently competent and pleasant staff. Whenever I have had a question or problem they are always willing and able to help. For the Past 3 years I have been using a surface and kept running into issues with them. Within those 3 years I have had to replace my Surface 3 times. On my most recent trip regarding an issue, I told them I was not happy with the product and was wondering if I could upgrade to something else. They were understanding of my frustration and went above and beyond and upgraded my device with no hassle. Everyone was super kind and every time I go into the store I have had great customer service. I will continue to go to this store when I need assistance with anything because I know I will be treated great!

I had a very pleasant experience visiting the Microsoft Store at Bellevue Square today. My laptop was attacked by a virus which created an endless stream of pop-up ads. The technician Tanner did some diagnostic testing & found the virus in no time. While we waited for the diagnostics to be finished he brought us coffee & tea. He explained everything in detail & was very pleasant to deal with. I ended up having my laptop serviced (1-2 day service) - to remove the virus & upgrade to Windows 10 - for free! While I was there I ended up buying a cell phone with the great help of Sean who backed up my data & set up my new phone so I could use it right away. Both of the technicians were knowledgeable, time efficient & provided excellent customer service. Thank you & I will be back!
