The service was great! I called on a Thursday and requested that I get my car in on the following Tuesday for an oil change and check-up. I took my car in on Tuesday, they did everything and I had my car back that afternoon. They were quick and friendly, and they were honest about what my car needed - which happened to be just an oil change. They sent me with the results of the report which was easy to read (unlike other mechanics Ive been to) and I was on my way. Affordable, kind and speedy.

The service at NW Auto Center makes me feel like I finally have a mechanic that is trustworthy. Alex and his staff are looking out for my best interest. They even drive you to and from work while your car is being worked on! I have a hybrid car, and they work on those too! Such fantastic service! Go see them for your car’s health.

BY FAR the best auto place west of Florida (where my brother has his auto repair shop). Alex is amazing. Direct, friendly, a car genius, and genuinely good guy. The support staff is knowledgeable and efficient. I guess the waiting area could be cozier, but Im reaching here. Its a fantastic auto repair place and I have no intention to ever go anywhere else.

My wife and I moved to the Bellevue area about a year ago, and finding a new mechanic, one whos trustworthy and clear and helpful, can be tricky. But every time we take our cars into NorthWest Auto Center the guys do an amazing job. Super cool, straightforward, very fair prices, nothing iffy. I think Bob is the main guy and hes awesome. Id recommend them to anyone in the area.

Quality repair shop. The guys are very knowledgeable about their work, provide excellent estimates, and dont try to push unnecessary repairs. The turnaround times are fast. The quality of repairs is good - Ive had multiple jobs done on my car over the last 7 years and its holding up just fine. They also provide a shuttle service which makes this a very convenient option if you work nearby.

You can always count on Alex to track down a difficult problem — from a curious trouble light to a disturbing sound to a wrong feeling on a standard manoeuvre — fix it expediently and reasonably, and charge you minimally. Such a refreshing change from chain shops that check this, analyze that, replace these, try those, and end up draining your account over days without really fixing the issue. Just bring it to Alex first, because youll eventually have to anyway.

These guys bend over backwards for service! Ive had my car fixed here but also have come in twice now asking for other non-regular but mechanical help and, when no one else would bother...they accommodated! Trustworthy? Yes! Good work? Yes! Friendly? Yes! Accommodating? Yes!

They fixed my van. Compared prices they are comperable. However they did pretty good time. To be honest they underestimated the amount of time it would take, but considering the issues going on with the vehicle its understandable. They did charge more than the estimate, thats a plus in my book.

The level of care and detail NW Auto takes every time I use them is impressive. This is by far the best experience I have ever had with an automotive shop. I liked my shop before and NW Auto is superior in every way. I just moved here and finding an auto shop you can trust is one of the most challenging things when you are new to an area. The entire staff here is wonderful. They are diligent, reasonable, patient, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Bob was very pleasant to work with and clearly discussed repair options with me. The only thing I think could have been done better was to vacuum out my vehicle and remove the plastic seat liner they placed in it to protect the driver seat.

I was impressed with their honesty. I took in my 1999 Toyota 4Runner that was overheating. They could have tried to convince me to put a lot of work into it, but instead they told me that its probably time for me to buy a new car. I asked them for advice on which cars to buy, and they were happy to spend some time with me on the phone to talk about it.

Great experience all around with each interaction. Definitely using this shop as my “go-to” shop.

I visited this place recently to get second advice on my brakes. The dealership where I usually take my car for service told me that my cars break pads needs to be changed and gave me an estimate of $850. But these guys did the inspection and showed me that my brakes are good for few more months and did some more inspections and didt charge me anything. I think hey give me a honest advice and Id highly recommend this place.

So I was driving along and the transmission on my car suddenly went out. I limped it into the nearest auto repair shop which happened to be Northwest Auto Center...which was lucky for me. They were very helpful. They were able to take the car in within the hour and do some diagnostics. The woman at the front desk gave me a ride all the way up to Kenmore. They were fair and honest and didnt charge me too much. Very impressed!

Always friendly, honest, & don’t try to coerce you into lots of extra unnecessary repairs. They give me a ride to work when I drop the car in the morning and they’re always done when they say they will be.

I was super comfortable with the help and diagnosis I received. I had a troubling noise coming from my car, so I stopped by and the gentleman hopped in for a quick ride-a-long. He seemed very educated regarding the intricacies of my engine. I drove way too long without changing my oil so he suggested we just do an oil change to see if it helped relieve the symptoms and it turned out to be the trick! So, imo theyre not going to give you some bs about what is wrong with your car. Thanks for looking out NW Auto!

Ive been coming to this place for my car for several years. Alex is an honest mechanic!

I first brought my 2011 Jetta TDI to the dealer with a check engine light on and hard shifting and power surging on the freeway. They told my that I just needed a software update and sent me on my way. On there invoice it told me that my car was in good working order and all fluid were great. shortly after I left the problem got worse. I live in Spokane and am from Bellevue. I worked in the auto parts biz. Northwest auto center was the only shop I trust on both sides of the state. So I towed my truck over there 300 miles to his shop and it was worth it. The found the real problems that it had a plugged and the transmission was way over due for service. They fixed it in a timely matter and the car has never ran better. I bought it used about a year ago. So that being said I would trust this shop over any dealer because they fix the really problem and for a far price. I am going to go after the dealer because all they did is charge me 300 to just turn the check engine light off. If I ever have any problem I will tow if needed back to this shop and I recommend you do too.

This place will lie to you and steal your money. I went in for an oil change and made the mistake of leaving a bank statment in the car. They told me that my windsheild washer resevare was leaking, that my struts were bad and that my cv joints were leaking and all needed to be replaced.I took my car to the Suburu dealership auto shop and after paying them 100 for a full inspection I was informed that my struts are strong they have plenty of life left and that no leaking was occuring from the windsheild resevare or my cv joints.I have all of the paper work dated from both companies of inspection and can prove that this place lies to customers to try and severly take advantage of them.When another customer came in to pick up his truck they tried to tell him he had bad breaks. He informed them he had litterly just drove it from getting new pads. The man running the shop just smiled and tried to play it off. After the customer left I heard him say he was trying to pay for new winter truck tires and that they are expensive.The price the quoted me for the work they said needed to be done was also almost 1000$ more expensive that what the dealership would have charged me if those problems actually existed.If you are looking at being lied to and have your money stolen then you have found your local shop of choice.

Recently went here for check engine light issue which I had in my Ford Fusion car due to purge valve sensor, initially my ford dealer told me about the error code and gave me a estimate of $575,since it was too high I thought of checking it here due to good google reviews,went here and told my problem,they saw my ford dealer estimate and quoted 500$ for repairing it which is only 75$ less than dealer, took my car to nearby lens automotive and they fixed same problem for $167,it’s very bad that these people are cheating and over charging.

Brought my car here for an estimate on repairs. Was told it was going to be $880. I thought this was a bit much so i took the car home & shopped around. Average price for same repair job in the local area was $450. You can bet I wont be using these guys

Do not and I repeat take your vehicle there for any kind of work.They will screw it up and cost you a fortune and something else will be wrong with it within 12 hours.
