Delicious pinoy food, friendly owner and staff. All the tastes of home well within reasonable prices.
Bought suman but spoiled. Surprised they sell old food.
Good food, but the portions are like you feeding a 7 or 8 year old. I rather go to Chinese store to instead. They are cheap in serving and you might have to buy 2 orders to fill yourself. Chinese is a better option.
You need a better process on checking the food like deserts that are made because I got some with mold on it. I always ask if “this is freshly made” but still we get something with mold. At a time of COVID when we are trying are best not to get sick. This is the last thing I want to worry about. Food poisoning.....
Great filipino store I like the food and combo
Ventured out to this little spot on suggestion of an American patient. What a gem. This place is fantastic. It has the feels of a real little Filipino eatery from back home..complete down to the plastic table cover and customary last supper carving. Its like i never left home. The food is super traditional in the best way possible. Its tasty and authentic. Tastes like home.Attached supermarket is small enough to have all the Filipino essentials without having to spend a lot of time going through everything. Will be a regular now.😀
Staff is friendly and amazing and the food is always great
I love their food. Who cooks it? I dont know but whoever is back there slaving away knows what good Filipino food is. Yum yum yum. I travel all the way from northeast PA near Scranton PA.....this place hasnt let me down yet. I get the 2 entree lunch special with white rice and soda for 7 some or 8 some bucks. My wife gets about $100 some in staples like frozen milk fish and Longaniza and various pastries. There may be less expensive places but when I hunger for Filipino dishes, this is the place I go.
Good Filipino food
They always have newly cooked pilipino foods.
Good to eat in or, to go for mostly Philippines food and eats as well as mini grocery for Asian condiments and ingredients for those who wish to prepare their own meals. Service during certain days are kind of slow but could be better. It has enough parking space in front and street parking.
The place serves big portions and for convenient rates. helpful staff. Kudos.
Great comfort food. Friendly, helpful staff. Im not well versed in food from the Philippines, and they really explained what each item was. It was all delicious!
The place serves large portions and for convenient pricing. very welcoming owner. Kudos.
Good prices. Much cheaper than other filipino stores/restaurants. Food is good too.
I enjoy having the opportunity to purchase all the Phillipines items
Great food great prices
Absolutely love this place
A Filipino store here in New Jersey. Prices of their commodities arent that enticing. But their home cooked meals are pretty good with a lot to choose from.
Nothing is good with this place. Baked pastries have molds, food are too oily...craving for some fried food? Good luck! They were leftovers from prior days that they try to pass as new... even when you buy groceries the receipt was not itemized; how would you know that you paid for the right items? learn from me and save yourself the aggravation. Go someplace else!
Food can be a little oily, but is kind of comfort food for many. Has nice selection of items from the Philippines.
Prices were higher compared to east west grocery. But the best prices out there is from Super Fresh. Skyflake crackers are $5.99 at Super Fresh compare to Masagana $7.49 and East West $6.99.
Great food, great staff. I always enjoy going here!
Amazing food kind service. Always a cheerful bunch there.
GOOD WAS GREAT. PLENTY OF DISHES TO EAT....
I have been going to Masagana since childhood. Belleville was always a second home to me. Even though my family moved to North Carolina in 2007, the management and staff at Masagana always remembers my family whenever we come back to visit. On the left side when you enter is the restaurant half of Masagana. They have a usual turo-turo (point-point) setup of food to select from. Along with rice, you select 2 dishes to go along with your combo. In the morning hours, they have traditional Filipino dishes like longanisa. When the weathers warmer they have cool deserts such as halo-halo and sago at gulaman. The right side of Masagana is the store half where you can buy goods imported from Asia. By they counter, they have an assortment of baked goods, some imported and others made locally.
Love this place. Cheap food. Reminds me of home.
Fancy and delicious! Date with ur wife or with ur mistress, the place to go.
