I miss shopping here, but I can rarely get there before 7pm closing. It would be great if you could stay open until 9pm on Friday or Saturday night. I see lots of people shopping later in other stores around town that are open a little later, so I think would be beneficial to Job Lots as well. Dollar General, Walgreens, Family Dollar and Hannaford are open until 10pm, so I usually just go to one of those stores ever since Job Lots started closing earlier. But I would love to come back!

Discount everything. I bought mineral tea tree shampoo, condition and body wash. Big bottles for 3.99. Face creams with retinol $4. Beach boogie boards (hard nice ones) $35, big beach chairs $35. Theyre almost double in other stores. This place has clothes, food and much more. Only problem is you wont find most items again if you go back for a favorite item.

I dont understand why they legitimately sell expired food.? I go there a lot I do like the place but the whole crazy deals thing looks like its just to give away expired non perishables🤦🏼‍♀️, and 3 stars for cheap cat litter so thats good and they are taking good precautions with making customers stand apart in line to social distance and wipe down the counters after each transaction so I was impressed with that.Just read those expiration dates on the food products, non perishables still perish lol

The Belfast Ocean State Job Lot has some of the friendliest and most helpful staff of the many Job Lot stores I have been in. They usually have what Im looking for or something so similar as to be a good substitute. On occasion they have called another store to see if an item they were out of was available in a different store. Their aisles are a little close together in some areas and can be tricky to get around corners since I ride the cart. However the stock is accessible and organized, not messily piled up to overflowing as is true of many Job Lot stores. They do a good job with the floor space they have.

Decent enough, the area doesnt have much else to offer so OSJL serves the purpose. Keep a close eye out in respect to the items you wish to purchase, the quality of some of their products are very poor but others stand up to use very well.

I have no complaints about Job Lots. They offer a lot of really great discount deals on a variety of products and average deals on others. As always, you gotta shop around but I dont think youd ever pay way too much for anything at Job Lots. I go there during once a month visits to Belfast. I stock up on certain snack items and have bought things like pillow cases, duct tape, and flashlights there before. I even bought a full body wet suit once for cold weather kayaking. That certainly speaks to the variety of their offerings!

They seem to be in the process of re design. A bit disorganized. Prices are good. And service friendly and efficient.

The customer service isnt very good I will explain why... I called this past summer and asked If they had any inflatable boats I immediately got a no... so i went anyway to check it out and sure enough they had multiple i wasnt very impressed so I went to the counter and told the guy about it and he says that happens sometimes and that was the end of that conversation. Another pet peeve of the place is cleanliness. Its just so unorganized that it makes the whole place unappealing.

Great spice prices. Lots of good deals on kitchenware. Unbeatable art supply prices, particularly on canvasses which are hard to find great deals on without supporting hobbylobbys anti civil rights agenda.

An affordable and friendly place to shop for most of ones household basics. Bedding, cleaning supplies, animal food, human food. Gluten free selections too!!!

If you want it, they have it, and then some. I especially love the grocery section with all the Bobs Red Mill flours and grain; and spices!

We usually go to Ocean State for 1 or 2 items and walk out with 6-10. Just cant help ourselves. A good deal cannot be passed over. Sometimes you find something unexpected.

Discount retailer that carry an assortment of items from housewares lawn and garden, clothing, food, and seasonal. Generally low prices, but be aware you get what you pay for. Appliances and electronics may be refurbished, and a lot of items could be deemed seconds or cheaply made. Some candy made in Turkey or other Mediterranean countries such as gummy bears or jelly rings may contain Sorbitol which can act as a laxative if taken in large amount.

Its always an adventure going into this store. You dont always find what you are looking for, but youll always find something useful or cool!

I visit here fairly often for particular items -- olive oil, garden supplies, maple syrup, Bobs Red Mill products, occasional advertised sale items -- but most of the things here are not of interest to me or not good quality. Still, its always worth a look to see what random merchandise might be just what you wanted at a bargain price.

My go to for tarps and painting supplies

Weird situation a month ago. I normally visit Job Lot once a month when I travel to Belfast for another reason. The last time I visited, I encountered a very odd situation. I was checking out a couple of flats if ginger ale and the girl behind the counter became oddly agitated and rude, telling me that I couldnt purchase the ginger ale in the configuration that I was attempting to purchase(basically, I had collected all the cans of ginger ale that were left on the shelf-about 2 cases worth, so +/- 24 cans?). I had no clue as to what she was talking about nor understood why something so trivial would trigger such an unusual and awkward reaction from this young woman so I asked for the manager. The manager came over and immediately also got kind of weird about me trying to buy a couple of cases of ginger ale in some configuration that they both considered to be wrong(honest to God! Im not making this up lol!). So after trying unsuccessfully to understand what they were both so bothered about, I finally suggested that I just go to another teller who was at her register watching on with funny grin on her face. I figured that she was smiling that way because she surely saw the situation to be as ridiculous as I did. But the manager wouldnt allow it!! I had to pay for my things at the register I was at or not at all!! So I paid for my stuff and left as quickly as I could. I had to give up 3 cans of ginger ale to meet the configuration constraints of the manager and teller. I usually like Job Lots. They have a large variety of goods for decent prices. But now Im not sure if Ill ever go back lol! By the way, I never got upset or became difficult in any sense of the terms throughout the entire ordeal. To be honest, I considered the experience too amusingly weird to become upset about. I guess I still recommend Job Lots but only if you know the right way to buy their soda pop.

It is always a bit of an adventure shopping here. You never know what they will have in stock. So be prepared to browse through the entire store, and have a backup plan in case they dont have what you are looking for.

Great value and hidden treasure- go to resource for wool socks, food items for the pantry and gardening.

Trisha cashier with a TON of makeup was rude, and gave me an attitude when I put my card in before the blue lights showed up... Even tho my card went right through anyways. Also told her I couldnt find a white vinegar and she disregarded my comment and ignored my concern. :/
