Lovely Tea Room, shop and attached bakery. Could spend hours perusing all of the lovely items, some hand made. Loved the owners story featured at our table.... Very touching!

This place is a half way spot for me and 3 high school friends. It was our first time here and definitely not our last. Every single thing about this place is charming and sweet. The way the rooms are decorated and eye paid to detail makes a gal free so special. 2020 was a difficult year for small businesses but this place made it. The service was outstanding. We never felt rushed. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and recommendations. Rustic Root has a great thing going in Beech Grove!

One of my favorite places to have lunch or tea with my friends. The food is alwaysdelicious and waitress are knowledgeable about the teas served and friendly. This the Beef Stroganoff,& was served with a salad and I had Levander tea with it was great.

Simple, casual, yet somehow still completely elegant. Im so glad the time to sit and give this place a try was finally taken. The food was delightful, and the tea (Ive only tried the Lavender Earl Grey so far) was absolutely heavenly. I couldnt stand the thought of coming home without a bag of my own, to continue the experience. I absolutely cannot wait to return. ❤️

Very pretty inside. Much more to it then you can see from the outside. Its a store, a bakery, and a resturant! The food was delicious. We had the prime rib special. Decorations were quaint and elegant.

I went here for tea with my grandma and it was quite charming! Im not a big tea drinker myself so I was pleased they had a variety of options. Im no expert but Id say their decorating is a bit whimsical in the front (loved sitting in a gazebo inside) as well as more formal area in the back with wall paper matching one of their tea sets and beautiful chandeliers. Its a wonderful setting for a remind styled social event (baby showers, birthdays, classy bridal). My favorite feature is that theyre right next door to a cake shop so dessert was fresh and delicious!

Went with friends today and loved it! The chicken salad was wonderful. The cucumber sandwich was the best my friend has ever had and the scones were warm and soooooo delicious! We shopped and enjoyed the afternoon. Will definitely go again.

A delightful gift shop and tea room that my dear girlfriend took me to for our lunch. We had the Petite Tea which was a perfect tier of food for the two of us.

The atmosphere was amazing! The food was delicious, and the tea was so good. Thanks to my awesome daughter-in-law for inviting me to join her and her mother, her sister and her mother-in-law, and her two daughters for mothers day brunch and tea. We all had a wonderful time and plan to go back next year.

This place is Amazing. The Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food and soups are to die for! The dessert you can add afterwards is even better! All around a great place to visit. Perfect for a lunch date, granddaughter-grandma dates, mom- daughter dates and anyone whos looking for a super cute dainty atmosphere! One of my favorite places to visit in Beech Grove. Dont forget to try a pot of tea!

The owner bumped my grandmothers birthday party for a wedding party. This may very well be her last birthday. We have been waiting a year. We had a reservation for her birthday last year but it was canceled due to COVID. WE HAD BEEN PLANNING THIS FOR A YEAR AND THEY BUMPED US A WEEK BEFORE WHAT MAY BE MY GRANDMOTHERS LAST BIRTHDAY. I hope the owner is happy with herself. We will never give them our business again.

I couldnt believe how good the food was. Usually potato soup just blends into some creamy potato flavor. I could taste every ingredient in this. The bacon was crunchy, even after it was mixed in. The shreds of cheddar melted in, but were stringy, so held their own. The chunks of potato were soft but not mushy. Even the veggie wrap, the cream cheese added flavor, not just moisture. This was supposed to be half soup, half sandwich, but I wouldnt have been able to eat more. And with a pot of tea, the whole meal was less than $15.00. The waitresses were fantastic, making sure my food came out quick enough that Id get back to work after lunch on time. Loved the timer that let me know when my tea was ready to drink!

This place is outstanding in everyway! Not only is their food incredible (I mean seriously super, super good and served beautifully), but the attention to detail in the decor and store is out of this world. The staff and owners have so much pride in their restaurant. I thought about using them as the hors doeuvres for my wedding. Even though that is not something they do at all the went all out to try to help me. I got to go there and do a tasting, we talked prices and set up. I mean they truly care about their customers and go above and beyond. We ended up deciding to go in a different direction for cocktail hour, because the lowest price point they could go for them to still make a profit off my order was a bit too much for just appetizers. Honestly, they are worth every penny they quoted me too! I cannot wait to go back and bring my friends. :)

Today was my first time to Rustic Root and I am so happy! The food, the service and the ambience were wonderful. I already have plans to go back in a month and I can’t wait!!

The first time I went there it was nice warm feeling I liked the cupcakes that they had different names it was so nice the second day I went there me and my daughter decided to go back to have brunch we had a seat and we ordered our food it was wonderful cant complain no eggs they did not have no eggs for us that we ordered but they had eggs for people who ordered the salad didnt understand that they a new movie got done eating our food the waitress made a little comment of saying so how we going to pay for this wash dishes I thought that was a racial remark that she had said cuz we was the only black peoples there Im going back again tomorrow I want to make sure I get this rightwell didnt get back there the next day but I did return there and it was better then before the manager Katie waited on us and she did a wonderful I mean a fantastic job Im waiting to make us feel comfortable there I didnt see the other witnessing waitress that gave us that comment but my daughter said she did but I still enjoy myself with the new with the manager thank you and have a blessed one

Very quaint decor including Interesting use of teapots and teacups and variety of chandeliers. Homemade scones with clotted cream and jam were delicious. Very tasty brunch quiche. Friendly staff. Overall very relaxing and pleasant experience..

I think people mostly like this place because of the decor and shop. The food is fine, a little pricey and not good enough that I would go out of my way to eat there again. Tea is nothing special. The special flavored coffee was very bland. Our server was not good. She only seemed to care about her larger table and left us sitting for 15 minutes (I am 100% not exaggerating) before she even took our drink order. I had to keep stopping her from walking off if we needed something. I was a server for 6 years, so I could see that she was not so busy that she needed to run off and ignore us. She must have been getting an automatic gratuity on the big table. Overall, its a novelty place but I wouldnt go back unless my grandma took me again. She likes the place for the decor. If it wasnt for that, the place probably would have failed by now.

Been looking for a nice tea place since our last joint closed. This was quite lovely and had a darling shabby chic shop. Was larger than I expected; takes up 3 shops of space in a strip mall. Main downside was that it was loud, but at least a crowd means its less likely to close down.

It is a nice place. Had the Grand tea. It was good but not exceptional. Desserts seemed store bought, but good ones. Id go back for lunch, the chicken salad sandwiches were good.

We had the special - french onion soup which had a delicious broth and a turkey croissant with the creamiest dressing! Excellent tea, excellent service, beautiful establishment.

A charming store. Portions of three pick up trucks decorate the stores interior. Lots of different tea flavors. A bit pricey, but good.

Delicious lunch, turkey bacon avocado grilled cheese and green bean casserole soup, with cold blackberry tea to drink. Strawberry cheesecake for my birthday! Couldnt have been any better!!!

Been here several times and loved every visit. Macarons are wonderful...chicken salad too.

The tea and nibbles were very good. But the waitresses were more suited to a truck stop diner. They were loud,impatient with the elderly and hard of hearing,just rude like they needed the tables back. Spent over $300 total in the place during the 20 min wait for little sandwiches and cake. So..the waitresses didnt need to act like we were an inconvenience!
