Wish i could give 0 stars. first, Ogre asked me what i thought about the placement of the mark before he did my lip piercing. i was honest and commented that it looked slightly high up. instead of just explaining why he chose that placement, his ego was shot and he immediately got defensive and said not to question him when he’s done this 25 years and has trained many piercers. ive never met a piercer this rude and i have 8 other piercings. he assured he would use longer jewelry to account for the swelling but instead used a short bar in my lip which caused it to start embedding into my skin around day 3. i went to Agony Tattoo to get the bar replaced, which they did for free, and were very good at communicating. i met a client there who told me the story of how Ogre pierced through her cartilage instead of her sweet spot for her septum. ive seen at least 2 reviews here on google saying they have had him pierce through their nose cartilage. she also went to Agony Tattoo to be fixed as well. DO NOT go to this piercer. PLEASE. i should’ve left as soon as he got an attitude. take your money and run. i was hoping when i went that his piercing skills would be better than his tattooing but i guess i was wrong. ive talked to other artists since who agree that he refuses to update his skills and practice and is continuing to make painful mistakes on clients like me. the shop looked dirty and the man looks like he hasn’t showered in days…i also know he’s going to see this and from reading the another review on here i can see he doesn’t take criticism well and will probably ask me to take this down.

Went in for a piercing. The process was smooth, easy, and fast. I could tell they had a lot of experience and they made me feel comfortable and at ease with everything. Definitely will go again in the future for any tattoos or piercings.

We went on a whim, for some work we had planned for a bit. Ogre was fantastic. The work was quick, accurate, and reasonably priced. Professional atmosphere, good people, great location. I highly recommend these guys.

Tattoo is scarred, had an artist from four isles away see it. Lines are crooked, shading is all over the place. 10-10 would let Stevie wonder or Ray Charles tattoo me before I go here again.

I have had all of my piercings done at awesome ink. Never had an issue with any of them from the very start . I have also had two tattoos done there one over 14 1/2 years and still holds the color like I had it done yesterday. Very clean and sanitary environment. Friendly staff like always they made me feel like a friend not just a customer. Also excellent prices. There is no other tattoo shop that I will spend my money at thats for sure. Oger does amazing work and there is no one who can convince me other wise. Thanks for everything you have done to make my body my beautiful work of art. I will be there soon.

Got my tounge done and he was really awesome.. Great staff and great service.. Pricing is good and he was quick and easy didnt even realize he had already done it all... I plan on going back for some stuff soon...

Went for a navel piercing. good prices, but the place looked disgusting. how ever i did see him open everything new, the piercer made me super uncomfortable, and gave me terrible directions for after care. but other than that, good pricing and done well and painless

I had gotten two snake bites and one tatoo of a feather that was 9 inches and i didnt have any problems with anything and from my own experience he was very sanitary and a very cool guy anyone who says otherwise is lying and as a female he wasnt pervy at all. Im already thinking about getting another tatto just gotta figure out how much it would be

If youre planning on going here dont. He was very unsanitary, no bag on the tat gun, he didnt clean the gun after each person (3), he didnt change gloves, the room was unsanitary, when he did my septum piercing he didnt even it out and he hit my cartilage. He gave poor after care instructions, and he made very sexual remarks. 10/10 wont be going here again. If you need anything done, go to HATS AND MORE in Princeton.

Awsome ink has never been sighted for any health violations and it is public record at Raleigh county board of health

Got a tattoo from this place a few years back, my first tattoo...and they literally didnt put in one ounce of effort. It looked worse than any prison tat Ive ever seen. The guy scratched it in to my arm in 5 minutes and charged me 50 bucks..total rip off. Dont waste your time and money on this place.
