I need to counter the barrage of negative reviews with my own experience because the service I got was outstanding when it was all said and done. Full disclosure, I was not in any rush to get my job done and it really was kind of difficult to get a hold of anyone over the phone. I never attempted to go to the shop. I requested an estimate in early May and someone came by two days later and did the measurements. I didnt hear back until I called them myself after about three times. They gave me the best price among 2 other bids. I said we could move forward IF they sent me an email with the bid. I never got the email. Two weeks later, Scott calls me to schedule installation because the glass had arrived at their shop. I was taken aback because I didnt formally agree to the job and really contemplated declining them esp after reading the reviews, but I decided to take a leap of faith. Scott offered next-day installation and Tim arrived as scheduled. Tim was incredibly nice. He did the whole thing himself and as far as I can tell, he did an excellent job. He even waited to let me clean the window before he put the frame back. Just an overall pleasant experience. We spoke about the reviews online and I understand where hes coming from. Tim works hard and loves the company his family built. That said, I understand where customers are coming from as well. I think AG could revisit their administrative practices because it really is unorganized. But if you do get a hold of them and once they do show up, they are the nicest and most respectful people -- rare in this community these days. The glass looks great.

Called this place for an estimate for screens, replacing a window and fixing a sliding glass door. They said they would get an estimate back to us. Never heard from them. Called them a week later and they said they were looking for parts. 3 weeks later w called again and was hung up on when they heard who was calling and would not answer the phone when w called back. Dont use this company. Their customer service sucks

I placed an order over the phone 2 weeks ago and was told it would be a week. I have called 5 times since then for an ETA and I only get a recorded message. I have left 5 voice mail messages and no return calls.Yesterday, I drove out there and they were closed when I got there at 3:30 pm. There was a hand written sign that says that they close at 3 pm, but it shows 5 pm on their website. I have used them a few times over the past 20 years and they have always done good work. I do not know what has happened to them. After reading the reviews, I am not the only one. Very disappointed with the lack of follow-up and would recommend someone else.

Price was reasonable and above all the repair person was on time, personable and took the time to answer any concerns I had. Will use this company again.

The negative reviews I read unfortunately seem to be true. I called multiple times during the course of a week. There were no answers, and no return call backs. I too am a business woman, and I would be ashamed if I treated potential customers that way. Please read the reviews, take them to heart, and give somebody else your business. I DO NOT recommend Aloha Glass!

Great work and personal service and installment!

Stay far far away. They were recommended to us by our realtor and we never thought to check online reviews. They came and installed our windows, but didnt install one correctly (and claimed it couldnt be fixed until pushed by my wife, and yes, they were able to install it correctly), and then severely damaged the doors we had glass being installed into. They said they told you youd need to paint right? uh, no, they didnt. I contacted them multiple times, finally got hold of someone who said Scott (the owner?) would contact me and to send photos through of the damage. I did that and never heard anything. Called up to 10 times over 2 weeks, no one ever answers their phone, responds to voicemails or to emails. Meanwhile we finally got a general contractor out today to fix the damage they did and they pointed out the glass hadnt been sealed properly and water would be getting into the door. What a nightmare.

Brought in three 40+ year old sliding screen doors and a window screen for repair this morning. No rush. They called me a few hours later ready to go. Fast service and I wouldnt have saved much purchasing the materials and doing the job myself. Big improvement on the old sliders and new window screen is a perfect fit. Thank you Aloha Glass.

Spent a LOT of money with them a couple years ago. Their work was OK, but the only game in town. Now, about a month ago finally got them to come pout and measure a window, give us a quote. They did, we agreed, they said it would be about 2 weeks. So far all is good.We made an appointment for them to come out and install. Today at 11:00AM. We make arrangements to be here and it was a hassle to do so, but what can you do? 11:00am Came, 11:30 came. I called them and got a recording. Gave them my info, no call back. 12:00 cam and 12:30 cam I called them again and got the same recording. NO CA:LL BACK to explain why they were late or not showing up at all. I am suspecting they are going out of business. I have 2 windows that need replacing and no one to do it. Thanks Aloha Glass. I appreciate you leaving me hanging and wasting my time. I know yours must be much more valuable I guess!!!

I had 2 separate appointments scheduled with this company, for which I missed work on both occasions, and they were COMPLETE no-shows to both appointments. After several calls from me and MANY more from my real estate agent, I was finally able to connect with them about re-scheduling. Picked a new date and time, and again did not show up! I would STRONGLY recommend NOT using this company!

I have used Aloha Glass for years for window replacement, glass table covers, glass shelves for a cabinet and replacement screens. They are also professional and courteous and they offer great prices. I have always been happy with the quality of their work.

It’s hard to believe that this much incompetence is in one place!!! First I had to do all the scheduling. They didn’t call to set up anything. I did. Then I had to call & follow up to make sure they were coming or had ordered the glass. I had them replace a bathroom window and a shower door. The window is ok but the Guy who came also was to replace the glass in the shower door. He did not know what he was doing. He warped the frame now the door won’t close & water seeps out onto floor. I called to have someone come out. They sent an older guy & he went in & adjusted the door which 2 days later went back to original state...warped! We are talking $375 for this door!!!! I called again & they have refused to do anything further...I’m to live with it.My advice to you is DON’T use this business!!!

Took me about 5 minutes to book, 5 minutes to arrange service, 5 minutes to pay. Very reasonable prices. Very friendly service. I will definitely call again if the need arises. Thank you!

I recently had Aloha Glass replace a window at my home and I was pleased with their pricing and service. They were on time for the quote and the window installation went very quickly and smoothly. I only had 1 window replaced and they beat another well known competitor by $100, so they are definitely worth contacting for your window replacement.I had read all of the recent Google reviews and I was originally hesitant to consider them, but I decided to give them a chance and I am really pleased with the results.Plus the new window looks great!

I have used Aloha glass in the past and was happy with their work (except their employee who installed glass panels in my white cabinet doors bled all over them and left me to clean it up. They also chipped the newly painted door and I had to repaint it). HOWEVER, I have called them at least 15 times in the last 3 weeks and they NEVER answer their phone. It always goes to an answering machine that says theyll call you back. Ive left two messages regarding getting a job estimate and they have never called me back. I just tried calling again and, unsurprisingly, I got the answering machine. I didnt bother to leave yet another message. I have found another glass company and will not be using Aloha Glass again. If they have so much work that they can ignore a potential job, then they dont need my business.

They don’t pick up phone calls and surely will never return a call. I’ve been trying to schedule them for a simple mirror install for 2 weeks now. They lost the measurement but instead of coming back out to re measure they just tell me they’ll look for it and call me back, this has happened 6 times in a row. Maybe it’s their policy to lie to get people off the phone? Seems like it. I even told them the last 6 times I called this is what happened so they promised a return call, of course that was a lie also. Today they finally decide to come back to re measure and set up a time but have not shown up and will not pick up my calls.

Friendly enough...but totally unorganized! Ordered glass 2 weeks ago. Glass I ordered was unavailable due to the fact its not made anymore.Got mibey back in check form even though I paid with cash....back to the drawing board!

It all started with the person who came to the home and took measurements then heard nothing back so I called and the order had not even been put in. Then when the person, a young guy, came to our home to install the glass he left a complete mess with glass all over the floor. Also made a mess of our door where the glass was replaced. He also took it upon himself to try and discuss politics which should not be tolerated in any way, shape or form. Left them a message and will not return my calls. I will be reporting them to the BBB! Horrible customer service!

I wanted a small piece of glass, a foot square. They said 3-4 days and they would call me. I called after a week and they had a hard time finding my request but he remembered me. He said he would find it and call me back. He NEVER called me back. I went to Glass People and he gave me what I wanted in 10 minutes. Aloha Glass has terrible service. All he had to do is call me back. He never did.

Sadly, Aloha Glass seems to have gone downhill over the years. They use to be right on the ball, communicative, got things done right the first time. Now, forget it. They dont call back, unfriendly voices on the phone, run-down facility if you visit them and more unfriendly faces, measured incorrectly and had to re-make the glass, then the new glass failed anyway -- nightmare. Take your business somewhere else. PS: I am a long time homeowner, real estate investor, and real estate agent. I speak from a long line of personal experience. I waited all day on a Mondy for someone to come out and measure my garage door windows. On Tuesday morning I called to find out if they came out and didnt knock on the door or... Mitch, the owner of Aloha Glass, called me back to say they didnt come and they would be out today. I kindly said there was no need. And, as I was saying I would have been fine if they had called me, Mitch hung up on me. Completely unprofessional. Wish I would have read the reviews before calling them in the first place!

They need to update their info. I called, and I checked to make sure the store was open. Closed. 11:30 am on Monday. Wasted a trip.

Previous experience (nearly 10 years ago) and so called them back. Not so pleased this time.Courteous, on-time, but sloppy installation and misguided about what would actually be replaced; Apparently, only some squares of window glass gets replaced, while other parts arent touched. I was under the impression, that the windows they guy pointed at (and quoted) would have all glass replaced. We also had to wipe / clean off all the windows ourselves, and they left a smear of tar (caulking?) on the floor.

Recommended someone else who did not return voicemail.

Their prices are great. I shopped around to five other local glass companies to replace some frosted glass around my front door. They came right out on their scheduled appointment for install, but brought the wrong glass for one of my windows! The installer finished installing the wrong glass and said he didnt have any other glass to fix their mistake, so he left. Ive been trying for 3 months to get the wrong glass replaced and they keep missing their own appointments! They dont ever call back or call to let me know they are going to miss their appointments. I have called and got someone who is not the normal receptionist and have been put on hold for 30+mins. Im starting to think they are never going to fix my window that they installed incorrectly.

Aloha Glass. Where do I start. It really pains me to do this, because I don t usually publicly complain about businesses, but, I went in to their store, late November 2015 and asked them to order me a bottom door guide for a vinyl screen door, the person that helped me said oh that is a very common piece and we can have it here in about a week, to which I replied Great! I would like to order it, do you need to have it pre-paid? (Which I was more than ready and willing to do, but he said no, so he took my name and number and said he would call me when it comes in. Two weeks went by and no call, so I called and they said that there was no order, Hmmmmm!. So I ordered again and have called 4 times since and every time I am told Let me call the manufacturer and find out if they have it, and I will call you back within One hour, Fast forward to March 15 2016 8:30 A.M.( Yes 4 months later !) I call and get the standard comment, Let me contact the manufacturer and find out if they have it and I will call you back within one hour well as of this writing it is March 15 2016 7:13 P.M., and never got a call back. My Guess is that unless you are willing to make a substantial purchase from Aloha Glass, then you will not even be recognized. This is a real shame as Aloha glass used to be a small family run local business that someone worked very hard to build, and that I have supported through the years as much as I could, and it appears that Aloha Glass has become, NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTATED and WILL FALL AWAY AND BE FORGOTTEN. So Sad! This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen! Would have given no stars but Google would not let me!

No idea what is going on with this business however I went into their store on Monday and ordered a mirror to be installed on Wednesday. When Wednesday came my son took a call that they had broke the mirror so would come on Thursday. I did not receive a call nor did they show up. Been trying to get a callback for a price for two weeks.

They are IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of. When we first purchased glass, they were there and assessable. We ran into some problems with their glass and when we tried to get ahold of them, they were nowhere to be found for weeks! We left voicemails, called numerous times and never heard anything back.

The last time I do business with Aloha Glass. Five screens cost $140. Super expensive, customer service is poor. Did the company change hands or was it passed down to the sons? What in the heck has happened to Aloha Glass?
