Julia was the best part of our major renovation project. From the start, she was responsive, patient, designed cabinets that fit our custom needs, and had the best suggestions for all other finishes and aspects of the project as well. She was so empathetic and was creative with scheduling so that when issues popped up with construction, we didnt get further delayed. Her team of installers was polite, professional and our kitchen is a dream come true.We will be starting on our bathroom remodel soon and are thrilled to work with her again. Her confidence and expertise are exactly what we need.

Cabinet Cures did a wonderful job re-staining our 20 year old kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room cabinets. They were professional, on time and very responsive to any inquiries or “touch ups” afterward. The whole experience was positive and we would use them again. Highly recommend.

We chose Cabinet Cures to reface our kitchen cabinets and are thrilled with the results. Our 16 year old cabinets were more Home Depot mid-price range quality and we wanted a higher-end finish. The configuration still worked and the boxes were all stable, so refacing them with new drawers and doors was the perfect economical solution. We chose Cabinet Cures sturdy, beautiful maple which comes in a variety of finishes (we chose white). In the refacing process, they also put new veneers on the cabinet ends and around the new drawers and doors. The cabinets look brand new. You have the choice of glass or solid and a variety of trim and hardware. Cabinet Cures can also build custom cabinets and help you reconfigure your kitchen if thats what you want. We worked with Julia in the showroom who was attentive, responsive, and unbelievably helpful. Shes a designer, so although she would have sold more product, she helped us come to the conclusion that we didnt need to reconfigure our kitchen. She even provided advice on wall color to go with our new kitchen floor. The communication and scheduling was professional and prompt. The installation team was friendly and patient with us. They cleaned up well every day and were sensitive to our needing to use our kitchen in the evenings. The new doors and drawers work better than the others - the hinges are even high quality. I highly recommend Cabinet Cures for cabinets that look brand new and cost about 1/3 of new ones.

We just finished our 5 day cabinet project yesterday. My wife and I are business people with very high expectations. We first met with Julia Koch their Sales Designer who both my wife and I found to be very competent, knowledgeable, excellent communicator, very smart and conducts herself in a very professional manner. We knew after meeting her that this is who we wanted to do business with.Cabinet Cures of Portland offers new cabinetry and Refinishing services. We have a very nice kitchen that we just wanted to change the color from brown to a gorgeous Black & White Tuxedo kitchen. Refinishing was the perfect option for us.Now on to the Craftsmanship. They have three two man teams. The Lead Craftsman on our project was Jesse and his assistant Jose. Both of them reminded me that it’s people who are the greatest asset of any company. What made a very positive impression at the end of the first day was I asked Jesse how long he had been there and he said, “15 years”. That told me two things, 1- For Jesse to be there that long it tells me that Cabinet Cutes of Portland must be a great company to work for, and 2- Jesse has a tremendous amount of experience and knows exactly what he is doing! Both were very focused and hard working. Both were very friendly and professional. We also needed our oven and sink cabinetry modified as well to accommodate a different sink and oven that we had before and did a great job.I am proud we met three wonderful people like Julia, Jesse, and Jose. My wife and I not only highly recommend to work with this company but with Julia herself and I would make a special request to have Jesse assigned to your project.Great job Team Cabinet Cures of Portland. We wish you all the best in your personal lives as well as your business lives. We will post pictures of the completed project in a month from know.

I am so incredibly happy that I found cabinet cures. They gave me my dream kitchen! I was a little uncertain about refacing cabinets when I first started my research, but then I came across cabinet cures who uses wood veneers instead of vinyl which last much longer. Julia worked with my husband and I through the entire process and I couldnt have been happier with the outcome. Julia worked with our budget and helped give us the kitchen we were envisioning. She was also very responsive and answered every question we had without hesitation. Not to mention, the crew who worked on our kitchen, especially Bob, was so professional and detailed in ensuring everything was installed correctly. Everyone who has come to my home in the last few weeks asked me who did my custom cabinets because they dont believe I refaced them. If youre considering redoing your kitchen I would HIGHLY recommend cabinet cures, you wont regret it!

Beyond satisfied and pleased with Cabinet Cures from the initial consultation to the last day of installation. You truly do get what you pay for and Im so thankful for that. Jules made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, and the installation team was more than professional and respectful. They took great care of my home while they were there and even completed the job a day early.I went from peeling pressboard cabinets and drawers to incredible hardwood material that I cannot stop staring at. The additional details such as wrapping the existing boxes and replacing all of the molding as well as trim around the floor, took this job over the top. I seriously feel like I have entirely brand new cupboards and drawers.I would highly recommend Cabinet Cures.

Cabinet Cures transformed our boring 90’s oak filled kitchen ugliness to A much more modern bright and beautiful space! We also had them do our laundry room and powder bath as part of our whole downstairs remodel. Jules really helped us through the whole process. We knew we wanted “light and airy” but she really helped us bring that to life with her assistance in choosing colors, counters, backsplash, and hardware...along with answering the million questions we had along the way as first time remodelers. She has a great eye for choosing things we liked and was so patient with us. As with any big project little bumps and issues came up but Jules and Cabinet Cures made sure everything was just the way we wanted. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a refacing project!

I really wanted to give Cabinet Cures a good review, but the project was not without its issues. Before the work began (refacing kitchen cabinets), we specifically asked the crew NOT to put any painters tape of any kind on the hardwood floors. They had put blue painters tape down on our hardwood floor to secure the protective paper and when we pointed this out, they revamped by replacing it with sensitive tape even though they were asked not to use any tape at all. We were assured the sensitive tape would not damage the floor and that the paper had to be taped down for safety reasons. Needless to say, when the paper was pulled up, the floor was damaged in several spots where the tape removed the finish. Cabinet Cures says they are not responsible for floor damage and that due to the age of the finish, the result was unavoidable. Unavoidable? How about no tape...no damage. We were given a timeframe of 5-10 days for project completion and it was nearly three weeks, mainly because the hardware (handles) for the cupboards and drawers were on back order. Perhaps this should have been known before starting the project? Only half were installed in a timely manner. Bob did a great job in finishing the project. Corbels to support the existing granite island were ordered twice...wrong color the first time.We were advised not to disturb the crew while they were working as the work is precise. My husband just happened to notice that they were refacing the island in white and it was supposed to be in walnut. Fortunately my husband caught this early. The first night after they left, I went to use the microwave and someone from the crew had left a cup of coffee in it. This is during COVID and they had not asked to use it. Second day my husband heard dinging sounds from the kitchen as they were again trying to use the microwave to heat coffee, but were actually using controls for the lower oven. We just thought this was disrespectful to the homeowner during a pandemic. So, do I like my new refaced cabinets, yes. Do I like strangers using my appliances without permission...nope. Do I like my damaged floors...not so much. Beware and read the fine print in the contract and maybe think twice about using this company.

Hired Cabinet Cures to reface our kitchen cabinets. They were great from start to finish. Met with Julia in our home to discuss what we wanted to do. 2 weeks later we met in the showroom to pick our finishes and make final decisions. We were originally booked pretty far out (4 months) for installation but they were able to move us up in the schedule when they had someone who needed to change. Installation went great. I really appreciated that our lead installer Jasper called me every morning to let me know what time they would be arriving. Installation crew was very respectful and great at communicating. They did a great job and the kitchen looks great! I would highly recommend

We just got our cabinets refaced in November and absolutely love how they turned out! Julia was extremely helpful and honest with us about what would work well in our kitchen. She had some great ideas and we also had our own ideas about what we needed in a kitchen update. Julia helped us sort things out. We are so happy how everthing turned out. Everyone who came out to work on our kitchen came when they said they would and the project was finished on time! The contractors were respectful of our home and cleaned up when they were finished! I am absolutely delighted with the innovative and skilled craftsmanship of Cabinet Cures! My kitchen remodeling task was extraordinarily unique and difficult...my dwelling is an authentic log home. The dimensions of each log on the three exterior walls involved during this project significantly varied. This kitchen project took a professional and detailed craftsman who was capable in making endless and tedious measurements. Outstanding job, Cabinet Cures. You are the best!

Our home is over 40 years old with the original oak kitchen cabinets and countertop. The cabinet boxes are still in great shape but the outside finish was worn off. We contacted Cabinet Cures for help. They helped pick out a new color stain and quartz countertop. There are so many colors and designs to choose from including new handles for all the cabinet doors. Installers Jose and Jessie went to work on the cabinets and what an outstanding job they did. They protected all the surrounding rooms from the sanding dust and turned our tired old kitchen into a work of art. It looks great! Jose and Jessie are two of the hardest working people we have ever met and we have had our share of different contractors thru the years. We will have Cabinet Cures back in the near future to redo our three bathrooms.

If I could give less than one, I would.. Needed six cabinet doors made. Sounded simple. Judith: we dont make doors. On the web it says they do, and on their website it mentions new doors. Shes quite certain they dont. Her solution: fill out the data fields on the website and hope for the best. Our second conversation didnt last long. You must be busy, Judy...happy for you. Good luck.09/11/19 follow-up to Cabinet Cure response: Frankly, “curt”, would apply to the person who hung up on the other...which in this case, wasn’t me. Judith’s guidance was intended to avoid human interaction. Again...simple request on my part. Your answer: “we don’t make doors”, which appears to be inaccurate. A more honest answer would have been “six doors aren’t enough for us to consider” - which anyone considering Cabinet Cure for new cabinet doors needs to know. It’s your company. Run it any way you’d like. I can’t get away with that sort of approach in my business. When it slows down a bit, I’d wager you won’t either.

Cabinet Crooks tried to get me to pay them last half before the job was complete. They used bullying tactics like trying to come onto my house and take all the cabinet drawers and doors and holding them hostage. They refused to finish the project without being paid the last half while insisting I install my hardware (knobs and handles myself). It was very stressful. Oh yeah, i found out its often better not to reface cabinets but the do a total rebuild...its often not much more money.

We moved into our home in Texas 4 years ago and the cabinets were in very poor condition. After looking at all options we went with an interior and exterior refacing using Cabinet Cures and were very happy with the product. After a couple years we started having a few doors that to us appeared to be warranty issues to be solved. During that time, the branch in Texas who did our work had gone out of business due to a death of the operator. We contacted the corporate office in Oregon and they honored the warranty and replaced the problem doors. Very pleased with the product and the warranty.

Hello all,This is going to sound odd but Im reviewing a company thats in Oregon when Im in Arizona. Several months ago I signed a contract with a local contractor (Cabinet Cyres, Arizona) to have my cabinets refaced. I had paid $9000 of the $10000 job when I realized the local contractor had abandoned all his current jobs and was going out of business. I filed with the board of contractors and realized how long and drawn out a process that was and I was certainly still going to lose money. As a last resort I called Cabinet Cures in Oregon for advise on how to handle my situation. I spoke with the owner and original founder of cabinet cures and explained my situation. He called me back the next day and told me they had met and decided to send a couple of their guys down to finish my job. They had the job completed in a couple weeks and the quality and end result was exceptional. My appreciation goes out to these guys. They stepped up when they probably didnt have to.Mark AnkromChandler Arizona

We went with Cabinet Cures and “thought” that we had made the right choice. The week of April 16, 2018 “most” of the work was done. The only thing lacking was 3 corbels which they installed, but were too big. Anthony said that since one of the original corbels was intake, he would take it and have 3 new ones made and painted. They left the installed corbels on – much bigger than the originals. We thought that would only be a “few” weeks. We PAID the remaining balance “thinking” that our corbels THAT WERE CORRECT would be coming “soon”.Here is a quote I Texted to Anthony at Cabinet Cures recently after I realized that we were being “lead on” – lied to – about our PAID IN FULL Corbels.I sent MANY texts asking when our corbels would be coming.ALL I got were excuses after excuses. “Shop had them made and painted”, but could not be found – the worker in whose truck there were “put” could not find them. SOOOOO new ones were going to be made. This went on for TWENTY MONTHS (20 months). There were MANY more excuses, but I kept “believing” that Anthony was NOT LYING to me.Nov 2 – If I cant get there today I will have the everything dropped off by Monday.Nov 4 – I have meetings with the ROC and my attorney today. I will get you an update later this afternoonNov 7 – At the ROC today. Looking like Saturday will be betterHere is the last text I sent to Anthony on Nov 11NO REPLY SINCE THEN:“It has been 20 months since we paid you in full.If they DID exist, then they belong to us and this lawyer stuff wouldnt matter. We have paid for them LONG before that came up.“The BIGGEST mistake I made was paying in FULL BEFORE the job was COMPLETED IN FULL !!!!

I cant say enough positive things about Jules, the kitchen designer, and all the crew at Cabinet Cures. I am so pleased with my new (refaced) kitchen! I went from having a dated kitchen with orangish maple cabinets to a bright, beautiful white kitchen with new refaced doors and soft close hinges. It looks seamless and beautiful - just a great option for us because we wanted to update our kitchen but avoid the high cost and inconvenience of a full kitchen remodel. I started by calling Cabinet Cures and Jules came out to look at our kitchen and give me the options, cost and timeline of how this works. Then I went to their kitchen design showroom and was so impressed. Everything in their showroom is done using old cabinets from the Habitat for Humanity ReStore so it gives you an exact idea of how your kitchen could look after theyre done transforming it. Such a great way to do a green, eco-friendly remodel because youre keeping your existing cabinet boxes but giving your kitchen a completely new cabinet door style and appearance. There are so many options in the showroom but Jules helped me select the cabinet door profile, color, and new quartz slab countertops. When the Cabinet Cures installers/woodworkers came to start the work they were professional, did quality work and kept me in the loop the whole time about their progress. It took about 5 days for them to do our kitchen. Its such a transformation. I could have tried to paint my cabinets and go to all that trouble but it would never have looked this professional and clean. This is a local, family-run business and it shows. I felt that they truly cared about me and want my family to be happy and in love with our kitchen.
