I had an amazing experience saying yes to the dress today! Jessica was professional and made the whole experience so easy and effortless. She was very knowledgeable about the dresses and what changes/alterations could be made to the dresses to fit what I dreamed of having. She listened to my desires, wasn’t pushy, didn’t project her opinion unless I asked for it, very attentive, and explained every step of the dress buying process. The shop has so many gorgeous gowns and it was such a blast to have my Jessica with us to make the magic happen!
Jessica greeted our party, making us feel so special and valued. She was clear about the process we were beginning. They only had one long row of dresses but we immediately found 5 good options. Jessica was masterful in her ability to fit the dress to look like the proper size. She was so kind and patient, answering all our questions and never making us feel rushed. By stark contrast we kept our appointment at a larger bridal store. It was a nightmare! Place was packed, disorganized and so stressful. We tried on more than a dozen dresses but none of them felt anywhere near as comfortable and felt much cheaper than any of the dresses as Everly & Opal. We immediately returned to Jessica and said yes to the dress. Save yourself the headache. Start there. Oh, and the price was great!.. Save money, save time, save yourself the stress of being overwhelmed at the “big” store and get a much better quality dress and experience without having to pay more! Thank you so much, Jessica!!!!
As a plus size bride this place was my dream!! So many stunning dresses to chose from and try on. They also are great as making a variety of sizes look like they fit properly so you get a good idea of what it would look like in your actual size. Everyone we interacted was also so sweet!! I cannot recommend them enough for any bride!

I have tried on dresses at other stores and Everly & Opal was by far the best experience. So many options to try on and such a wonderful variety. My stylist Jessica helped me be open minded, she showed me a dress that I said no to twice thinking it was too simple but it ended up being the BEST dress for my body and even though it was simple, it made me glow. If you want to feel like the QUEEN you are, come here to get your dress. No knock on any other Portland area bridal shop, they dont even come close to Everly + Opal. The selection and the experience are so special and magical. I booked and appointment and my bridal party got to explore the shop, just us, with a bridal consultant. I am plus size and every dress I tried on made me feel like a million bucks, and they have a large selection of all different styles too. I am picky -- all other bridal shops didnt have any dresses I liked but when I came here, I couldnt decide because I loved them all! When I narrowed down to my top dresses, I flew in my mother in law and mother and the same bridal consultant hosted only us in the shop to have an experience that we will never forget. I also got my beautiful veil from them after I got my dress and it is STUNNING. COME HERE! It is by far the best bridal shop in the Portland area.
This shop was such a pleasant surprise the back fitting rooms are beautiful. The costumer service was wonderful and there dress selection was amazing. I would recommend at least trying this shop out to anyone! The staff made my wedding dress shopping an amazing experience!

I am absolutely IN LOVE with this boutique! Not only is it beautiful inside there is just something about it that makes me feel so comfortable that I didnt want to leave! Kelly, the manager was my consultant and she was amazing! I was comfortable around her and she was easy to talk to. I was afraid that they wouldnt have a lot of options but you dont have to worry about that here. The two times I was there I felt like I had the whole place to myself (Im not sure if they do their scheduling like that or I just got lucky but even if their was more people it wouldnt be a lot like going to a bigger dress store, maybe tow other brides at most) I loved that it was just my crew and I enjoying this experience together. I never once felt rushed or that I was inconveniencing the staff. The prices are reasonable and I chose the perfect dress for me and I felt just so beautiful. I would love to relive this experience 100 times over! Cant wait to pick up my dress in March! If your still not sure just take a chance and visit them!!
We went to Everly and Opal to find a wedding dress for my daughter and had a wonderful experience. The stylist was amazing, knowledgeable and made us all feel special. She found the perfect dress (stylists choice) and made my daughters vision come to life. I cannot recommend them enough, this should definitely be your first stop wedding dress shopping.

I had the best time with my sister shopping for her dress! Kelly was our stylist and she was so helpful and really listened to what my sister was looking for! The selection was awesome for all sizes!! My sister is a size 16 and had SO MANY dresses to try instead of other stores where they will try to squeeze you into smaller sizes. This is the only place is our opinion you need to go!

This place is great! I was slightly worried with Covid that things may be different or more difficult (to try on and have family there) but everything was clean, scheduling was made easy and myself and my family had a great time. Kelly helped me find my dream dress! Which ended up being the first one but she was very patient and kind and super helpful! Highly recommend.

I went 3 weeks ago for the first time to Everly and Opal with my mother and 3 bridesmaids to look for a dress. I was extremely nervous and had a ton of anxiety over choosing a dress I felt would most likely look terrible on me. I don’t look good in long dresses or white. But to my surprise I looked great on all the styles! Kelley was so helpful and rather quick with helping me change and lugging dresses around. It was such a beautiful store and had my full dress shopping fantasy fulfilled. Honestly wished I spent longer shopping to enjoy it all but found the dress on the fourth try. I highly recommend for any mid-sized to curvy bride. It was the best experience and being curvy my whole life you don’t get many of those moments shopping for clothes, where you get to feel special and beautiful. Loved my pretty woman moment. Not the part where she gets kicked out. The part where Richard Gere takes her shopping and everyone’s doting on her. 😉
This is a new bridal bouquet for plus size brides and while the concept is great it poorly executed Especially compared to their downtown sister store the “White dress”. The inventory is lacking with only maybe at most 30 dresses which I believe maybe less than that. Champagne served in a plastic cup verses a champagne glass is simply tacky Especially when you’re trying to give A high-end boutique feel. The manager was my consultant and she was bubbly and fun. The other person that was working was sweet but needs to work on dress. They need to add a small bench in the fitting room or hooks to put your items on. I ended up purchasing my dress because this store is one of only two that carry the designer of the dress I wanted. Please add some umph to this store Because at this rate you won’t be open for long.
The selection wasnt huge. But they did have gorgeous dresses! Unfortunately they didnt want to take my payment that same day even though I decided to go $700 more than my budget was. Instead I was offered an appt a week later , and no hold on my dress which means it could be sold within that week. I wouldve come back with the $1300 for that gorgeous dress in an hour. But they clearly dont want my money. I didnt feel like it was a special day for me like it shouldve been.. i wasnt offered a veil to try on. I was hesitant to go dress shopping as is because I dont feel I deserve something so nice. Thanks for giving me an idea of what I would like. I Will be buying my dress from somewhere else.
JESSICA-Let me just tell you regardless of her being the only person at the shop to do our appointment, I would have not of wanted it any other way.First shop trying on dresses and she was patient with me while letting her know my likes and dislikes. She’s very intuitive. I only had to tell her my dislikes once. She respected my decisions and didn’t force me to try anything I didn’t like. I loved how helpful she was and how enjoyable she made my experience. I tried on 7 dresses. 2 dresses I tried on twice and one dress I tried on three times. 😂 I thought she was going to be frustrated with me but was so accommodating and made me laugh multiple times. The dress I tried on 3 times finally brought some really joyful tears to my eyes. I am so SO SO very please and touched by how wonderful this place was and is! Thank you so much for my experience and giving me the best bridal experience I’ve had!

The dress selection is amazing! The customer service cannot be beat. Even during this pandemic they have been sending me regular email updates and keeping me posted for when my dress will arrive. 10/10 do recommend. If you are a plus size bride then you seriously only need to make an appointment at ONE bridal store to find your dream dress; Everly & Opal bridal. My experience with them was exactly what I have always imagined wedding dress shopping would be like, and I cannot say enough positive things in this review. I left their store feeling so beautiful and confident, which rarely happens when plus sized ladies go shopping for clothes. I had gone to a few regular bridal boutiques before E&O and the appointments went pretty awful. You can only try on a few different styles of dresses from a very small section in the back of the store, and most of them cant even zip up all the way in the back. At E&O you can try on ALL the dresses and they have every style you could want!! My stylist, Jessica, spent well over 2 hours helping me until I said yes to the dress. She made me feel like her only priority and answered every question I had. Jessica even helped me place a custom order for extra lace from the designer. I am so thankful for finding E&O and know that I wont only look beautiful on the outside for my wedding, but I will FEEL beautiful on the inside as well.
Came here a few weeks ago to look for a dress. Jessica was my sales rep and I CAN NOT, CAN NOT express how much gratitude I have for her. She was running back and forth pulling dresses off the rack for me to try on and giving me such amazing advise. In the middle of my session she got in sink with my mind and starting hitting every point. She would suggest things that I was thinking and made everything so stress-less! She was giving me color advise and sleeve advise and help me in so many way! This was the first and LAST placed I went. I SAID YES TO THE DRESS! If you are a plus size woman, please check them out first, you will not be disappointed!!!! If I could give them more stars I would. This is a SPECIAL day for a bride and to have them really care and help out and not feel like they want to just sell you a dress was a refreshing feeling!!!! This was my first place shopping for a dress and I was super nervous and overwhelmed. Kelly was AMAZING and so patient with my sometimes overwhelming family! Even in the midst of COVID madness she made the experience absolutely perfect! After trying on a few dresses that were the style I thought I liked but just wasn’t falling in love with she took it in herself to pull more dresses until we found the perfect one that checked all my boxes! Seriously go to them!
This was my first time trying on dresses. So I was definitely a little nervous. It was such a relief to be able to fit into any dress I wanted to try on. The consultant helping me named Kelly was so kind and attentive. I came in with no idea what I would want and she helped me narrow it down. There was plenty of options to explore, so I could see what fit was best for my body type. They even helped me find little tweaks to really make it my dream dress. I went to a popular bridal chain before making my way to Everly and Opal. After trying on a handful of dresses and not finding anything that fit me right, or was really the style I was looking for I left disappointed.I found Everly and Opal by pure luck! I had no idea that they were even around! I patently waited for my Maid of Honor to come to town so I could go with my ladies.When I arrived, I had a handful of people with me! I was lucky enough to work with Kelly! I could not of been happier. She knew their inventory like the back of her hand and had tons of options that worked with what I wanted. I told her that I couldnt make my purchase that day, do to my down payment money coming in a month or so. She still worked with me and made sure I knew that she cared and that my dress and experience mattered.I went back yesterday with just my mom! I tired on a few new dresses they had in stock, but my heart went back to my first pick.I was so happy to order my dress and work with Kelly again.Kelly is truly outstanding and made my dress shopping experience everything I could have hoped for.
As a plus size bride, options are so limited at other stores and I was feeling really discouraged. Coming to Everly and Opal was a breath of fresh air. I felt comfortable in my skin and I fit into EVERY dress!! I worked with Kelly who was so helpful and patient, she made me feel beautiful the entire time. We were offered champagne, which was such a fun touch! My sisters and mom got to sit out on the couches while I got my own room to change in which was nice and private. If you are a plus size bride, you should be looking no where else! I cant wait for my dress to come in, in August!!

Well let me tell you, this is the place! The selection is wonderful and I had the chance to work with great stylists named Stacey. She was fun and informed about the dresses available in my budget. I cannot express how much Everly and Opal cared and loved and helped me as a bride and my soon to be sister in law. We both found our dresses. My sister in law is having her wedding for December 2019 and I am getting married in 2020. These ladies were wonderful through and through. You were allowed to take pictures of the dresses, pick out the dresses you wanted to try on, if you didn’t like something they said “well this isn’t your dress, so let’s get you out of it and find you the one you love.” Jessie helped me find a beautiful dress and they didn’t push you into buying a dress. The atmosphere was super relaxed and enjoyable. I brought my mom, my best friend, my sister in law, my mother-in-law and grandma-in-law and we all had a great time and felt welcomed and just loved by the staff. They had complimentary mimosa bar, and cookies for us. The experience here was much more welcomed and pleasant, earlier that day I went to Anna’s bridal and had a bad experience there. For Everly and Opal just opening that day the were far more prepared for our appointments, they even had clips to pin you for a better fit into the dresses, the consultants really listened and helped you into each and every dress you wanted to try on. At the end, they put us back in our favorite dress and walked us over to a big tall standing mirror and glammed us up in the veil, beaded belt, and even cap sleeve options for me. They truly went above and beyond all expectations. Thank you for the wonderful experience Everly and Opal, can’t wait to come back for my next fitting and see my Everly and Opal family.

I visited this store with my daughter and some of her wedding party earlier today. When we left the place, the bride was nearly in tears. Upon our arrival, after filling out the details sheet which included her dress budget, the consultant, Jessica, proceeded to select dresses, all of which were far over my daughters indicated budget. We had chosen a few within her budget and all were taken to the dressing room. The bride never got to try on a dress within her budget and Jessica worked very hard to upsell her on one in particular. When my daughter said it was too far over her budget, the consultant began telling her all the ways she could save enough money to get the dress. If you make coffee instead of buy it every day, youll save a lot right there. You dont have to pay for the dress all today. You can make payments And on it went. My girl felt unheard, and upon requesting to try on the dresses within her budget was told Were nearing the end of our appointment time. Youre welcome to schedule another one. There are several other things about the visit I could comment on however Ill simply leave with this: We will tell any and all brides we know NOT to patronize your establishment. My girl found her perfect dress, well UNDER her budget at the next place we went and her experience there was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.
I met Kelly at a bridal show and she was so personable and friendly, so I was so excited to go there to try and find my wedding gown. At my appointment, Jessie was my consultant and she was just as amazing. I wasnt sure what I really wanted/I was open to any style and she picked out the perfect gown for me. Despite my own reservations about picking my gown, she was able to ease my anxiety and make the process so easy and fun! This is an amazing shop and the ladies are wonderful!

After many discouraging experiences not having more than a couple of dresses to try on, I found this shop online. I called and spoke with Kelly before making an appt and driving 2 hours from Washington state. I had been too many shops that say that they cater to the plus-size bride and thats just not the case. There was only one other place that I went in Oregon that I was able to try on five or six dresses other than that all of the places in Washington that I went I was lucky to try on two. This shop only deals in plus size dresses and made me feel wonderful from the phone call to the appointment. I ordered my dress the day I got there for the appointment and had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I would recommend Kelly and the shop to anybody that is plus size and wants to have several dresses to choose from and be able to actually try them on. Im still waiting for mine to come in at the beginning of August, but Im super excited and cant wait.

Can’t reccommend this place more!! The woman I had (I think it was Jessica?) was an angel from heaven. She made the atmosphere so calm and relaxed (exactly what you need when you’re looking for a dress right??). She knew exactly what look good on and the store had a wonderful selection. This place is awesome! So chic in decor and a great environment for dress shopping. I brought a friend here and she felt super comfortable with the stylists and the private changing areas.
Car sales people are less pushy than the people who work at Everly and Opal. From the very beginning they wanted me to cancel my next appointment. At one point the girl told me that I shouldn’t bother with the next appointment because “they will only have around three dresses that will fit you”. The next shop had five times the number of dresses, better prices, and much better service.
Totally amazing experience picking out my wedding dress. After a horrible morning at Davids Bridal Everly and Opal totally turned the day around! I cant wait to get to go pick up my dress!
Jessi was amazing and pulled the perfect dresses for me all whimsical and fit like a glove. I had already been to seven dress stores ending in tears and once blood lol(dress cut my side) and my fiancee telling me he would fly me to a plus size only store or have a designer custom make a dress. Luckily I had found this gem. It was so amazing to try on every dress in the store. I felt beautiful and comfortable in these dresses.
