Ive took both my daughters VW Bug and my Volvo to Rescue Auto Center. They took care of me both times on separate occasions. They were quick on the diagnosis and repair. Fair priced, quick turn around. That what perfect. Thank you.

Rescue Auto Center has worked on 3 of my vehicles in the last year. Each time the repairs were done right and they were done quickly. Their prices are extremely reasonable and their staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend this shop to anybody looking to get some quality repairs done at a reasonable price.

They took us for $300.00 . repairs where never done right.. they called us and said it was good....when we picked our rig up from rescue and lee assured me it was done my wife broke down in their parking lot she got it running again and they waved her off..it died 8 more time on the way home.. when she got home i looked under the hood and the air cleaner was still off and in the back of the rig....i took it to another shop and they did the same repair for $200 and actually fixed it..the shop i ended up taking it to returned it in tact and running..they put everything back where it went...i called rescue first and all they could do was tell me to bring it back..we live in Gresham and it didnt run...they did nothing to help us and left us hanging knowing that we were without our rig

Stay AWAY. This place was unbelievably shady. My husband let them put a new alternator in for $500+, not realizing my alternator is less than three years old. When it started breaking down again less than a week later I took it to a reputable shop who were able to fix the actual problem - just corroded battery terminals. Bottom line: you missed the small and simple fix in favor of charging me five times more. Not trustworthy and no way to do business.

I learned about Rescue Auto from a tow truck driver when I had a vehicle towed. I went on one day when my windows were stuck half way down in the rain. The mechanic Jason spent 2 hours trouble shooting and fixing the problem. I have taken both my vehicles to this location on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. When you find an amazing mechanic, it makes life easier.

My truck rotor belt broke so I was towed to rescue auto. I thought they had fixed the problem correctly becaue the truck seemed to be running fine. Then about 4 months later I noticed a small banging somewhere in my engine bit I wasnt sure why. After another month it got so loud I took my trick to my normal mechanic. He said someone had put the wrong size belt on and made it fit by bending the metal belt assembly. He repaired it correctly. Dont go to this place.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO TOW YOUR CAR!I broke down and was recommended by the tow driver to take my car here (they are under the same company) I paid for a comprehensive diagnostic review, and they determined it was the rotor cap and fixed the problem. The next time I drove my car (5days later) the car stops running AGAIN leading me to believe the issue was unresolved. They are now telling me that I received the services I paid for because it was running when I left the shop, I dont agree. It was running when I left but broke down again after driving less than 15 miles. I think it was a quick fix to get me out the door.I paid for a full inspection and was told I need new brake pads so I paid for new ones. I was open to getting any necessary work completed to avoid braking down again. After breaking down a second time I have a friend look at the car and he tells me there is NO OIL in it! If they would have done the full review that I had paid for then they would have noticed and mentioned that I didnt have any oil. They are PREDATORY MECHANICS that will do a lazy job just to get your money. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.Also, terrible customer service. They want me to PAY them to tow my car back to the shop to tell me whats wrong. Forgive me if Im wrong but I JUST paid to be towed to them and paid them to inspect the car and tell me whats wrong, why should I pay again? I waited over 3 hours for a call back and after calling back myself was hung up on. On top of providing terrible auto work they have some of the worst customer service I have ever come across. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Took it there to fix my CE light in July. It was determined to be a faulty EVAP sensor part or something which was replaced for 600+. Took them almost 7 days. I had to fix the Check engine light to get new tags. The day after my check I got my DEQ tags the CE light came right back on. I didnt worry because the Id been driving it like that for two years. This morning my car started smoking on the way to work. I discovered the water pump line was never connected back. My engine is full of sludge. Yay!! Time to donate the car. I drive less than 40 miles a week. Make of this review what you will. I still have their warranty but i couldnt be bothered.

Brought my car in for some smog related codes. They spent a lot more time diagnosing than I paid for. They even hunted around for a cheaper part to fix it. Cars fixed, smog passed (DEQ), didnt cost as much as it could have.Update: Ive been brining both of my old cars here for years and they are reasonably priced and will fix anything that might go wrong after theyve fixed it.

I got this car used (from a dealership and got it inspected myself before buying) when all of a sudden it wouldnt start. Totally intermittent problem that could descend on me at any time.I brought my car to three different mechanics and its Service Auto that finally fixed it, even on the same day I got it into them!Professional but not flashy, its a little hard to find the building but doubtlessly worth it.

These guys are jerks and referred me to Eurotech and then they (Eurotech 16800 Shaw Street) tried to rip me off. After day 6 waiting for the mechanic to fix my car I called Volvo dealership in Beaverton about 1 mile away and they confirmed they have and have had a body throttle, gas pedal carriage in stock! So I asked where the mechanic was and the two mechanics there said he had gone on vacation after leaving me hanging for 4 days! WHAT! Where is my proof of the diagnosis? There wasnt one! WHAT! At this point I wanted to get my personal belongings out of my car and they refused to let me enter the shop to remove my video camera.Eurotech refused to complete the work when I brought this to his attention, kicked me out and escorted me away from my car until they were done putting it back together refusing to complete the work on my car. The mechanic asked if I needed to call a tow. I said yes I will call roadside asst. Same tow service showed up, Rescue Auto Center, same address as Eurotech but in Suite B same guy that referred me to Eurotech, red facial hair, bald w/tatoos. Then the tow truck driver says hi and remembered picking up my car and referring me to Eurotech, I shared a little bit of what happened drove around the block and waited for him to pull out. I pulled over on Shaw st. on the right side and watched the two men from Rescue Auto Center/the two mechanics from Eurotech which didnt come out until after I pulled out. They were just carrying on chit chattin standing around my Volvo talking about everything that happened Im certain of it. So finally the tow driver and his trainee pull out with me following, which tgey have NO CLUE. The mechanic looked right at me as I passed the shop and put his head down when he realized I was sitting there the whole time watching them carry on about my Volvo. I couldnt hear what they talking about but it was obviously about me and my Volvo. Then the truck driver turned right at the first stop sign from SW Shaw street/right on farminton/left on185th/straight on gassner/I called State Farm roadside asst. she told me to call the tow truck driver via cell from the automated text message you receive. WHAT! While I am driving!!!!! Seriously?! So I did. I asked him where he was taking my Volvo and he said Uh what? And hung up on me. The tow truck stopped in the street. I got out of my vehicle approached the driver side of the tow truck and asked where he was taking my car. He ignored me. I asked him again he said he didnt know and asked me what my address was. I said you just picked my car up 5 days ago on Shaw Street, he remembered at the shop! I said doesnt anybody fn know what theyre doing in this world anymore?! He flipped, looked like ha got stung by a bee and cussed at me for cussing at him and threatened to dump my Volvo in the bleepity bleep street! I returned to my loaner car and called 911. Hey, they could be just adding illegal miles for extra money or very well be stealing my Volvo and dropping it off at a wrong destination on purpose and lose my car for sure! JERKS! My video camera with home videos of my children/family reunion etc. are gone! 15 years of home videos gone!Been having similar issues in the last 8 months, my Volvo losing power and dying took it to Midas. My Volvo is running great thank you to Midas Beaverton location, they said Eurotek left a pipe to the coolant untightened on my Volvo after all that Madness! dont get your car fixed at Eurotek or use rescue Auto for a tow

Quite easily the absolute worst auto mechanic experience I have ever had. My ordeal stretches from July 2012 through April 2013 (summarized below), and today, a year later, I am paying $250 to repair further damage done to my car in the course of the work these chuckleheads did to my timing belt and engine.DO NOT LET THESE FOLKS REPAIR YOUR CAR, YOU WILL REGRET IT.Jul 20, 2012Had car failure, regular mechanic did not answer the phone, so went with All Day Towings suggestion to have it looked at by Rescue Auto. Car repaired by Rescue Auto (timing belt replacement), took THREE times and three return trips for it to be roadworthy (replaced with close enough parts, then one that required plugs, then a new one all together).Mar 1. 2013Car died getting off of freeway. Had it towed to Bassitt. Bassitt inspected, saw that timing belt had snapped.Mar 5. 2013Got towed from Bassitt to Rescue Auto to have it looked at for warranty eval. Rescue Auto denied it was due to warranty since oil level was low. Bassitt called Rescue on my behalf, explained that this model Honda does not require hydraulic pressure for timing, thus oil was not a factor (translation: Rescue Auto tried to lie their way out of responsibility). Rescue Auto relented, agreed to replace all parts under warranty.Since that time, I had received no updates, and kept getting stories about paperwork being submitted for warranty replacement. I had to call for any news, even though Im told they will call the distributor and call me right back. I finally got the name of their parts provider (Auto Zone) in late March 2013 and tried calling directly, but they said that due to the Commercial account, I have to go through the mechanic. I did ask what the normal turnaround is for a part replacement like this, and the manager of that shop said it would be a few days. At this point it had been 3 weeks.April 1, 2013I called and spoke to Jason the mechanic. He kept saying he just called corporate for the parts vendor because he keeps getting asked to fill out additional paperwork. I told him that it will be one month that week that theyve had my car and if there is no movement by Friday I will be towing it elsewhere and sending them the bill. He seemed to stammer a little but said he would call me once a day to let me know whats going on.This didnt happen, and I kept having to call back.I finally got my car back in mid April, and it ran all right but was making a new sound I had never heard before. I decided to live with it because I didnt want them touching my car again.FAST FORWARD TO APRIL 2014I am taking the same car in for some maintenance and the shop its at called to tell me they found a very curious situation: an incorrect bolt had been placed in the engine and it was seated unevenly, which was causing the timing belt to shred. This is EXACTLY what Rescue Auto said they did when I first took it in because they wanted to go with what they had in stock and it was close enough. I am now paying $250 to correct their poor handling of the repair.Im sure these folks mean well, but they are in over their heads for anything more than oil changes or spark plugs. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
