Great experience. We walked in at 8pm on a weekday night and Andrew helped us walk through the different models and trims in great detail and offered test drives.Walked back home with a new outback touring xt. No stress on the purchase or after market add on and services. Felt pricing was clear with no added loopholes or unwanted charges. Happy with the car and the experience! Will consider Carr again if I were to purchase another Subaru!

I cannot begin to describe how happy I am with my Carr Subaru experience and first car purchase! I came in to get details on some of the inventory I saw online. Moon helped answer my many questions, was patient, and went above and beyond to get me details on newer inventory that had minimal information online, despite me being forthcoming that I didnt have intentions to buy today. He showed me some of the cars I was interested in and was transparent and candid with his view of the pros and cons regarding the many questions/concerns I had, which I greatly appreciated. I decided I wanted one of the vehicles and the buying process was a dream! Every step was clear; Moon didnt hesitate to dive deeper on a topic or explain something differently if I wasn’t clear on it. He was positive and wonderful to work with. My boyfriend had to work while I was there so I was messaging him some of the details and my phone was about to die and Moon went and found me a charger! Additionally, he was incredibly respectful of my boyfriends work and came up with ways that minimally impacted his workday, even when it created extra work on his end. Moon is a caring and amazing employee that made my car buying experience a breeze.For financing I worked with Margaret. She is animated and funny and reminds me of a protective mama bear. I feel like she 100% wanted what was in my best interest and fought to get me a good rate. CALL MOON! I leased my Subaru from this location and have since moved away to another state. I am looking to trade my vehicle in at a non-Subaru dealership. I really did not expect much assistance since I was not staying with the Subaru line. However, Moon stepped up and gave me the best service I could hope for. He gave me exactly what I needed within just a couple of hours. I can only hope that the next salesperson I encounter is half as competent as Moon. If you are looking to purchase or lease a vehicle, call Moon. He will not disappoint. In fact, youll be OVER THE MOON with his level of service!

Willy Maddox was the best! After 8 years of owning my 2002 Subaru Outback LL Bean Edition with 200k miles on it someone pulled out in front of me and totalled my car. I purchased my new 2017 Subaru Outback Limited in early May during the pandemic and the service amazing!!! Also, what an upgrade! The Subaru technology has come so far since 2002. The safety features are incredible! The dealership was clean, empathic to what has happening, and I left in my new vehicle in about 2 hours. Only great things to say about my experience! Since then Ive gone on so many adventures with my two dogs and cant wait to create more memories for years to come.

We had a very positive experience here after stopping into 4-5 other dealerships in the greater Portland area. Riley greeted us upon arrival - super friendly, very down to earth and didnt push us in a direction we were not interested in. Used cars are limited these days, but after looking for a few and meeting him at one of the other Carr lots, we finally found the one we were searching for. Closing went pretty smooth and we landed on terms we were comfortable with / in our budget. Plus a lifetime drivetrain warranty!!Next time we shop or have friends looking for a new car, we will send them to Carr!

I purchased my Ipreza from Carr Subaru in 2015. I have been going to them for oil changes ever since. The oil changes have always been friendly, efficient and met my expectations. Yesterday, I had a few wear and tear repairs to be done. One of the repairs was intermittent and I was concerned that this would be problematic. Bob, my advisor on the repairs, was great. He listened and understood and made all the repairs. There was some coordination with Subaru of America that all went smoothly and quickly. I am very pleased with the service and repairs at Carr Subaru!

Would NOT sell me the car at their listed price, $27,995, below is the photo from their website with the price. Even though it was listed on several different sites and I called for the price, and the price shown in the picture was listed on the car on their lot. Tricky place just to get you in the door! Utterly disappointed and I feel cheated. Found this car online and contacted the dealership this morning, they verified the car and price and told me it was free to come look at. I made an appointment for a couple hours later then was contacted that the car was in the shop, I stuck around all day so I could go look at this car before leaving town for vacation. The car salesman Brandon let me know I could come by in the evening and the car would be ready to be seen, he was no longer working and recommended Moon. Two different salesman and a phone call and they were not able to give me the car for what is was listed at. When the manager came out to talk about price he literally laughed and said “thanks for humoring Moon” Then proceeded to offer me the car for $11,000 more than it was listed at, I even called to check the price. They were not even willing to give me the car for what it was listed at online on multiple websites as well as on their lot. I honestly feel like they lied about the price to get me in there because the manager immediately started talking about other cars, and laughed at me. I would never recommend this dealership! The saying goes that used car salesmen Are the worst and that was definitely my experience at Carr Subaru. No apology just laughing at me. The price was listed in multiple different locations yet they were not willing to honor their own price, SO WRONG and disgusting.

Before going in to check on a Hyundai Tucson I came across on the web, I made sure to check if it was still there considering sometimes 3rd party websites don’t show the most recent sales, Carr Subaru was quick to call & make sure that the SUV was still there. I got to meet up with Andrew who made the whole experience a whole lot BETTER. He was accommodating & honest! My boyfriend & I were impressed at how professional but still made us feel like we were family to him. I loved the personal connections he related with us while we were in the process of purchasing the car. Margaret was the lady we discussed with the financial options & her too, made our day awesome. Everyone at Carr Subaru are very nice & lively! Awesome to see that the employees really show how much they love their job, it reflects on the happy customers very well! My experience at Carr Subaru has been exceptional! My issue was caused by another dealership when they didn’t put my lug nuts back on correctly at my last servicing. Not only did Carr Subaru let me bring my car to them without an appointment, but they were willing to work with me on being able to fit me in whenever I could limp my car to the service center. Once I got there they replaced all the bolts and lug nuts on the problem tire, and without me even having to ask, checked all the other bolts and lug nuts on the remaining tires to ensure they were on correctly. I will continue to come to this dealership for all my future services.

Initially I came to Carr Subaru to look at an Outback I found online, but that car had been sold by the time I was able to make it over there. But, Polo was amazing at making things happen. This is the truth! My experience at Carr Subaru was excellent. First of all I want to start by saying I am a 70 year old woman, shopping for a car by myself. Jessica Wallach was perfect. She made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. That meant I test drove 4 cars before I narrowed it down to the perfect fit. Jessica was patient and told me to just stick with it and I would find a car. Yes, I found a car! Overall I had a great experience at Carr Subaru. I reached out over the phone since I am 4 hours away and Vijay was VERY helpful throughout the whole process. This was my first car buying experience and I had a bump in the road because I didnt have a cosigner. Vijay worked over the phone, out of office and even a little after closing to help me so I wouldnt waste a trip. I felt a little unprepared but Vijay was patient. Kieth in financing also helped me get a lower monthly price and found a great option for me. I would definitely recommend and buy from them again!

I called 2 times yesterday to confirm that they had our car in stock and ready for purchase, both times they confirmed. Then called the day we were picking up the vehicle, they confirmed.When we arrived the car was not on the lot and they tried pushing us to another vehicle. Is this a bait and switch? Made an appointment for nothing, drove 30 minutes for nothing, and got child care for nothing.This place is phony and adds to the bad rep car sales has. So bummed.Do not shop here, they can’t be trusted.

All of our family have been long time customers of Carr Subaru. We recently purchased two vehicles and Enrique and Manny were the ones that helped us with our vehicle purchase. We have always had great experiences purchasing vehicles from Carr Subaru and this time was no different. Enrique and Manny were tremendous. Awesome customer service. Manny has always been great to work with and he got us a great deal on both cars. Enrique was knowledgeable on all the models we looked at. The vehicles we ended up purchasing were both hybrids and since we were new to owning this type of vehicle we were pretty clueless. Enrique showed us how to use everything on the vehicles and made sure we were comfortable with it all before we left the dealership. He made sure we had his contact information in case we had any other questions. We would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle and make sure you ask for Enrique. Had a great experience buying a car from Dan Doyle at Carr Subaru. Although the dealership was extremely busy, Dan took all the necessary time I needed to make the right choice. He was patient with me as I test drove a couple of vehicles. Was mindful of my finances, and wanted to make sure that my payment obligations would be a good fit for me and my family.I appreciated his experience and knowledge about the whole process, and the Subaru I ultimately purchased. I have not so great credit so I wasnt expecting much to be honest. But when I first got here and did my application the first sales person seemed very nice and honest. He then told me that he had to get my application over to special financing and someone would reach out to me. Which is fine, I wasnt upset with that at all. But here we are a week later and I have yet to hear from anyone else. I have called to speak to the special financing and voicemails were left but no response. I was told to go here because they work with people in unique situations similar to mine. But I would never recommend them to anyone. Really unprofessional to not give any sort of update good or bad. Just dead air. Shame on yall.

The salesman and the post sale support were great. I have been very happy with my car too. However, the finance department is a complete disaster. I leased a car in March. They made a mistake on the paperwork and so I didnt get my lease started for two months. Ive been driving around with an expired temporary registration for more than a month. I called five times to ask how to make my first payment and they didnt call me back for weeks. They finally pushed the paperwork through, but forgot to apply the payment I made when I signed up for the lease to my account, so I had to make an extra payment to the finance company. Essentially they just stole a lease payment due to incompetence. Im still trying to get help. I was in tears this morning (June) after realizing Im helpless to do anything and still trying to get my paperwork and payment resolved. Ive spend hours and hours on the phone with the lease company and the dealership. This is a disaster.Edit five days later: I did get help and get my lease payment mailed to me in the form of a check, but it was still a very bad experience. I shouldnt be crying two and a half months after buying a car because of paperwork issues.

Great place to get service for your Subaru. Avoid Marcos, the guy they dont advertise on the sales team online photos. Completely rude, unprofessional, and rushes his customers without a care at all. If he grabs and you see his name, just ask for the sales manager to get from harassing you all over the lot.

My Honda was totaled in an accident(not my fault) and I needed a new car FAST. Brought my mother here to purchase her first new car in years (kinda, 2018 with 12k miles). Joshua Z was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. He answered our many many questions with pleasure and I have to admit it was one of the best car shopping experiences I have ever had. I can see why this dealership has so many great ratings and reviews.Their financing department worked quickly and managed to get us through five pages of paperwork in roughly half an hour. I was surprised and impressed with their sales technique and really appreciated not getting the runaround. They didn’t try to oversell extra warranties, insurance, etc. Once they explained the options, they let my mother decide what she wanted and offered no argument or additional commentary. Purchased an outback a few weeks back. Willy Maddox was our salesman and provided an amazing experience. We came in late on a Friday night with a grouchy baby and he made the process quick and even let me take one of their cars home so I could get the baby to bed while my husband completed paperwork. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a vehicle. I have purchased two cars from Carr Subaru. The first car was good, but the second car was sold without backseat headrests. Carr made no effort to fix the issue.Seems like a serious safety risk and their quality team overlooked something so simple. I looked at the car in the dark and both I and my partner did not notice the missing headrests. I went back to the dealership and they said, “tough luck, you can buy new ones from us for nearly $600 EA”. Overall, a terrible customer service experience. Regardless of whether the car is sold as-is or not, headrests are a critical safety feature and I know that I will need to bring the issue up in court if a passenger was injured. Who seriously sells a car without critical safety features?My finance manager was Dupre Haney. He definitely seemed to not care. He wouldn’t even speak to me when I came back to try to resolve the problem.Also, the car was a loaner and items were left in the car from the previous driver.If I could do it over again, I’d rather have gotten a Subaru elsewhere. There is no shortage of Subaru dealers in the Portland metro. At the very least, do not buy used from this dealership.

If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely a waste of time. Willie was our so called “sales person”. Promised many things and didn’t deliver. Drove 2 plus hours to get a car, and it was a joke. Promised a tank of gas if we didn’t get it and was offered 5 gallons. Was also promised 3500 for trade in but that turned into 1500 some how. Bait and switch??!! I was trying to help my 20 year old buy his first car on his own and this was the worst experience I have ever had at any dealership. Unbelievable, shame on you Carr Subaru. Thanks to your terrible customer service, I’m pretty sure he won’t buy through a dealership now! I hope Mr. Willie reads this and will change what he promises his customers. Save your time and gas and go elsewhere.

She relished the challenge of finding me just the right vehicle at an excellent price, and with none of the hassle I had become accustomed to at dealerships over the years. We were first greeted by a very kind and easy going sales rep Eric, who immediately after I shared we were interested in a Forester Sport proceeded to help us understand more of the car, test drive, and run some options on the numbers. Smooth throughout all the steps, no pressure to make quick decisions and ensured that we were comfortable with all the details. Fernando the GM also assisted in the process and we had a great time chatting and running through the details as well, felt more like a family get together than buying a car. Peter helped with the final contract in a quick, friendly manner and also answered all questions and final options with transparency for us to make the best decisions we could. This was our first Subaru purchase, and couldnt be any happier having selected Carr Subaru for it.

I had worked with Jesse Medley in the beginning of the summer, emailing back and forth about my car needs. It took a while to find what I wanted, (picky shopper 😉), but when I reached back out to Jesse with the car I wanted to test drive from another Carr dealership, he pulled out the red carpet. He brought it over to the Carr Subaru dealership, and made it soooo easy. It was such a smooth experience! He had THE best test driving route. Both he and Austin helped make this car buying decision so seamless. I was so impressed! I wish I could give them a better rating. I went there a few weeks ago to get my Subaru serviced. There was a line about 30-40 cars just to get in for their service appt. That should have been a red flag but I stayed in line anyway. I was told by Brenan/Brandon that Id get a call within 2-4 hours with a diagnosis. 24 hrs went by and they still had my car, no phone call. I had to call multiple times and still never had an answer. Finally, the next day I got a hold of Brandon who said they cant fix my car stereo and I should go to Car Toys but they did, however, fix the recall issue, which i never even went there for. Super irritating experience and I wont be going back there for service.

Made an appointment for my recall for 730am. Got there on time and they took my car immediately. Told them ill wait and they completed the work under 2 hours, as promised. Friendly staff and nice waiting area. They have coffee, other hot drinks and some snacks while you wait. I knew I was going to wait, so I got my tablet with me to watch some movies. Free wifi and easy connection instructions as well. I also noticed they have express services without appointment for things like oils change. Didnt get pricing as I usually do that myself. Would come back simply its close by and they havent done anything bad. :)

Wow! I didnt realize buying a car could be so straight forward and easy. We worked with Adam Gates and I cant rave enough about him. Straight shooter, trustworthy, informative, spent time showing us every detail of the car after the sale. He really takes care of his clients and we are grateful to have had him. My car got broken into in Portland and I called the next day full of anxiety and worried about how much out of pocket I was going to have to pay for a new window. Our 2007 Outback with over 200,000 miles on died this last week. We definitely wanted another Subaru. I have been driving Subarus since I got my drivers permit years ago. Ive had other brands too and driven rental cars. We made an appointment at Carr for the next day. We were introduced to the manager who introduced us to Riley Lidel. Riley was extremely friendly and personable. He listened to us, especially about our dog family. We tested both the 2021 Outback and Forester in different packages. The technology and safety has definitely progressed since 2007. Riley explained everything and answered our questions. I think there were one or two he didnt know, but he got the answers very quickly. He and the finance manager explained all our options for us when we decided on the Forester. There was no hardshell. We would have left if there were. In fact the finance manager also answered my questions about her unique cats I saw on a photo. The facility was clean and used Covid protocols. We took our new family member the same day. Thanks Riley and Carr Subaru.

We had such a lovely experience with Carr Subaru! We worked with RJ and he was so helpful, honest, and did not feel pushy at all. He went out of his way to send us personalized videos of cars in our price range (and did not push cars he knew we couldnt afford!) so that we could come in knowing what car we wanted to test drive. I was worried about buying in a COVID environment, but the entire staff seemed very prepared and the facilities were very clean and well maintained. We even had a minor issue with the car a few days after we drove it off the lot and all we had to do was text RJ and he had the service team repair it within a few days at no additional cost to us. The finance staff was very clear and helpful in helping us with financing options and even found a way to get payments to exactly where we needed them to be. I would very much recommend Carr!

Huge shout out to Adam Gates for helping me buy my first car! Bought a 2015 Subaru manual Crosstrek and I have been very happy with the car. I have to say that Adam is very personable and knowledgeable about the cars he showed me. He displayed the utmost intent to make sure I was confident in buying the vehicle. Of course he was present for all my questions before buying and he even walked me out to the car after buying and answered additional questions I had after buying.
