Great store but the front end manager I spoke with today she was very rude. Called Sunday Oct 24th 2021 at 10:20 am. She should not be representing the store as a manager. Called about a broken power washer and she just transferred me mid sentence without letting me explain my situation about a broken item and losing my debit card to reprint a receipt. Very unprofessional.

Only store around this area like this. Prices can be high. Bathrooms are always busy.

My husband and I went looking for a rug at the BeaverDam location and luckily we had Dan help us 2 different times, he even help us find something at the other end of store when nobody else knew where to look. Thank you Dan you made my shopping easier

I used to love Menards... till they started forcing customers to wear masks or leave. Are all Menards like this or is it just this one? Makes me sad tbh.

Menards is a great place to shop. They have excellent items and they have been having the 11% rebate now for the whole year. I shop there weekly

Make up your minds on the mask policy, now you have a choice too wear one if your vaccinated or not but this still defeats the purpose. Showing your vax ID card at the door too shop will be next just wait.

Very busy on weekends, but very clean and pretty well stocked. Friendly helpful staff.

I had to do some shopping and I pulled on my highway tractor and a trailer even though I wasnt supposed to probably. The parking lot was fairly empty and there was a lot of room for parking. I stayed off to the corner and nobody said anything the staff was super friendly they came and got my card and let me do my shopping. Ive never been to a Menards so I really have nothing to compare it to. All I can say is they had what I needed and they seem to have quite a variety of things kind of like a Runa or a home Depot. I highly recommend this place like I said the staff was awesome and very welcoming even though I couldnt see anybodys face. The only reason I didnt do five stars is because I couldnt see anybodys face.

Purchasing a fence here was horrendous. Bought the supplies, said they were in stock. Go out there and they were sold ready to be delivered to someone else! Plus they were out of some of the stuff we needed for the fence. Went back for the gate and price was 110, rang up the items before taxes, it said 160! They couldnt figure it out l. It was just a a mess.

I was allowed to enter the store unmasked.. walked around the entire store with no mask.. passed several employees who did not say anything about me not wearing a mask.. got to check out.. and they wouldnt let me check out without a mask on.. this is by far the most ridiculous mask policy I have ever encountered... Im allowed to walk around your entire store maskless... but have to wear a mask to purchase my goods... I will not be returning...

Staff was minimal friendly. No ine extremely helpful today. Card reader customer ahead of me as well as myself had issues. Needs to be replaced for better customer service.

Did not like how the employees hawked me and my friend throughout the store and would hound us if our masks were not on correctly. Never been to any store that did this. Im never going back there for anything again. Fleet farm is way better anyways.

One of my favorite stores!! Love their sales and their intermittent 11% rebate specials.. so grateful for that. They always have everything I need.

I had a huge order online. (18 enclosed trailer filled to the top!) It was a great experience. They pull everything off the shelf and have it ready for you!!! The guy helping me tonight was excellent and hope he gets a good review due to his customer service!

Now wearing a mask is not enough for the mask nazis ... they tell you how to wear it. Great example of how A little power goes a long way in the wrong hands. They should rename it CDC/Mendards but wait they are not nurse, doctors or scientists they just pretend to be.

Always love to shop here. Everything you need for almost any project. If I have one complaint it is the mail in rebate system they use. You have to mail in your receipt and they give you store credit not cash. I think it is kind of a scam but I still do it.

I witnessed an elderly couple patiently waiting for a young gal to finish her duties. It was obvious that the girl was aware of him being respectful of her job. However, I was very saddened to witness when he cleared his throat to gain her attention...she said.... What do you want?!!. All that elderly man wanted was to know where the bleach was!! For crying out loud that young gal SHOULD of been more respectful and said, THANKS for asking. ILL SHOW YOU WHERE the bleach is located. Anything else I could help you with? YOUR corporation is VERY deficient in customer service. Shape up, Menards

The girl that helped me was new, and I was having trouble finding things I needed, she got me right to the correct isles. Best experience I have had at that store.

Social distancing, and mask wearing are mandated. Otherwise, its the same menards, as always. Though some staff have NO CLUE, about the products in their section, they are always really nice, and willing to help.

They have what I need but the customer care ladies tried charging us 4hrs for a rental that didn’t work and the other wouldn’t let us price match from a local competitor.

I never write reviews, but in this case I felt it was a must. If I could give this store a zero I would. Worst shopping experience of my life in a store. I have a medical condition and doctor exemption from wearing a mask, yet the joke of a store manager cornered me in store along with multiple other employees because I did not have a mask on. They were swearing at me and telling me they were going to call the police on me for trespassing because I wasnt wearing a mask. Are you kidding me?! Never will I spend another penny at Menards and I will be sure to share my experience with everyone I know. Boycott Menards. Inexcusable behavior from Menards.

I always had a great shopping experience at the Madison Westside location, so I am very surprised at the poor quality of service of Beaver Dams Menards. Staff seems to be either young enough not be able to drink, or old enough to be well past retirement. Neither group shows dedication, professionalism, nor interest in providing good customer service or even understanding of their department. This isnt an opinion formed from one visit, as I have been shopping here for 2 years, but I am finally tired of paying premium price for customer service that is even more lacking than the Wal-Mart across the street. Unless you absolutely need something asap, youd be better off driving elsewhere. Youd be investing in getting the service a polite customer deserves. I know I will ge driving to Madison from now on.

I drove all the way from Oshkosh to get an air conditioner theyre kind of short on help I had to wait around until someone could help but they definitely gave me the service I expect we also got some paneling the guy that helped us load the paneling wasnt too energetic we almost had to do it ourselves

Menards in general is horrible. Highly inefficient when trying to buy anything from the back lot. Most of the things sold here seem to be garage. Do yourself a favor and support a local hardware store that sells quality products with much better customer service.

Terrible stock is low and employees are rude and not helpful.

The store itself is pretty good and has good pricing and has pretty much whatever you are looking for. The one star is for the General Manager of the store, John Panzer. What a terrible human. Talk about someone who doesnt care at all about his employees and runs this place like a prison. I feel terrible for the poor souls that have to work for him. He should be ashamed of himself. I will never shop here again know about the things that he does and will make sure to get the word out about how terrible of a person he is.

This place never has enough checkers. Plan on waiting 10 to 15 minutes to check out, then bagging your own stuff while trying to pay at the credit card machine at the end of the isle. Not very impressive. I recommend Fleet Farm where prices are close to the same, plus you get 4 cents off their gas and free popcorn.

Wouldn’t let me go in to the store because I didn’t have a mask but I seen other people have no masks on shopping there it’s not fair other people get special treatment then other maybe you should look at the people that work there and plenty of the workers didn’t have masks on not happy you just lost my business

Menards has a much better selection of gardening supplies than Wal-Mart. I will be going to Menards first from now on. And the new lumber dept is very nice. It seems like there are a lot more employees in the department now so getting your lumber order seems much faster.

Even called ahead to make sure order was ready for pick up n get there n still wasnt ready poor customer service like always hate picking up orders at Menards for customers. I no longer shop at Menards for myself.

I would never have anything delivered from Menards. Delivery times mean absolutely zero but they offer them and do not stand by them. I wont be doing anything shopping there again because of such poor experiences.

This is a great store. And for the most part, what makes it a great store are the people working there. The wide selection of products is a benefit too. We have had the department managers, as well as other employees go the second mile for us many times.And another little known benefit to the store is, they have the best prices in town on things like: Cereal, gram crackers, chips, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, just to name a few of the things we get there other than building materials.

Not always the highest quality on lumber, but they almost always have what you need. Good people working there will always help. Kinda funny, but there food prices are not bad. Deals on chips, pizza, and such. Also buy the dog and cat food for a good price. Otherwise they have a great selection on paint, lumber, flooring, lights, etc. There is a whole outdoor area for summer landscaping projects. Over all great store.

Every time I order something they say its here but cant find it! Then weeks later its in again! Nope still not in or unable to find it. Windows, cabinets, screens you name it. Completely incompetent

Some of the employees could be a bit friendlier and not act like Im inconveniencing them when I ask for help. I dont have a good experience when I feel like I cant ask an associate for help.

We went through this store to build a deck starting in late June. They supplied incorrect materials, damaged materials, they didnt ship other materials, and then called me a liar when I went in to discuss the issues with the general manager.Greg from the materials desk tried his best to make things right, but the general manager had no interest in working with me. My project took twice as long due to the amount of time I had to spend figuring out what they did/didnt sent, and what materials they sent me that were poor quality.I wont be using them for a project again, and I recommend that others dont either. Alternately, the Fond Du Lac Menards was great. They shipped out a deck board with some damage on it, and replaced it no problem, even though I had already started cutting it out for the railing posts.

Back in April 2015 I went into the store to get some paint. They were busy so I waited in line. Another customer came in after me, and when the next store clerk became available they helped him first. I spoke my piece but was totally ignored. I left went to Fleet Farm down the street was helped immediately and turns out I like their paint way better then Menards so thanks for that. I mailed my 11% rebate in back in April and have yet to receive it, and I have NOT been back in any Menards since April. So I sent an email to their rebate location, and asked where my rebate was, they said it was never received, and they said to send the original invoices and rebate form in again. I explained I did not have the original receipts as I mailed them the first time. Was told I had to go to the store and get them reprinted and another form and send it again. What a waste of my time, and I was not looking forward to going back into the store. So when i finally got some time I stopped printed my receipts again got the rebate form and mailed them on 9-24-15 still have not received my rebate. I just saw an advertisement for an on going 11% rebate good luck to everyone at getting it, cuz it has not happened for me yet, still waiting since April 2015. Very UN happy with the way they do things there. I can get everything I need with MUCH better customer service then here at Fleet Farm.
