Extremely thorough exam for my teenager. Dr. Patel and Dr. Blount are great with kids and take their time to make sure the patient gets an accurate diagnosis and prescription.

When my son’s teacher notified us that he needed to have his vision checked, we were very worried. However, the staff at TSO and Dr. Rhodes are amazing! The staff were patient and kind to my son and me throughout the exam. They did not rush my son when he was nervous or uncomfortable, but explained what they were doing and why in a way that he could understand. Additionally, Dr. Rhodes answered all of my questions and built rapport with my son immediately. His attention to detail, passion about his job, and deep desire to help others are what makes him the best. I highly recommend TSO and Dr. Rhodes for children and adults alike!

I have been taking my son there for the last two years to see Dr. Patel, who is an absolute gem! I have had no issues until recently. It was a weird situation during check-out, but its too much to get into. All I know is their system has been down since December 4, 2020. I was told I cannot even order my sons eyeglasses with the system down. I have called several times and was told they would call me. Jamie called me on December 16th, saying the system is still down, and they would contact me when it is up. Here it is January 5, 2021, surely their system cant still be down.

A wonderful office! Everyone working was so friendly and helpful! The office was so clean and comfortable! My appointment was quick, but I never felt rushed!

Do not go here unless you want a huge sell to you on being in some eye study for $1,800 or if you want your contacts prescription afterwards as they won’t give it to you to shop elsewhere.

I usually Love TSO they’ve helped me for years with my glasses but back in May I decided it was going to be my first time trying contacts! I was super excited and told it would only take a few weeks to get them in. About 2 months later I called the office to see if there was a update on them and the last I first spoke to never updated me then I called the next day only to find out that they were never ordered. Each time I called they would tell me it would take more time than they originally told me and it’s now been 6 months. I know the pandemic has messed up everything but my first experience with contacts should not be this stressful.

I am ashamed to say that this was my first I exam since high school, however the overall experience at this TSO was wonderful! Each one of the staff members were very pleasant and friendly. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and personable during my family appointment... dedicating time and attention to each of our individual needs. My eyeglasses specialist Patricia was the cherry on top! She was so kind and patient with me... she took her time to help me find the perfect pair of first-time glasses! In the midst of all the chaos with Covid 19, I had to make an appointment to get my eyes checked. The staff followed all necessary protocol and remained very friendly. When Dr. Joshua Rhodes came into my exam room he too was very upbeat and very compassionate about the situation. He took his time, was very thorough and listened to what my needs were. Together we made a decision on what best suited me and my visit was amazing. I walked out actually saying “Dr. Rhodes you are the best” and I want everyone to know that Dr. Rhodes is the best!! I’ve always loved going with TSO for my optometrist needs and recently switched to TSO by Walmart because of my insurance. Dr. Kimball did an amazing job and answered all my questions during my visit with detail. You can tell the entire TSO staff there is customer oriented and that says a lot nowadays. Definitely going to recommend and continue going myself in the future.

I am a first time customer, having moved to the area about a year ago. As I had used the same practice previously for a number of years, I was a little worried about trying a new place. This TSO came highly recommended. I was not disappointed. I was greeted by Ebony’s smiling face. She sent me to Susann for testing. Then off to Dr. Blount for my exam. Then off to see Sylvia to be fitted for new frames. After 2 nopes, the third pair was the winner. Picked out the lenses. Then, I waited for them to come in. I got the call to pick them up. Sylvia had just left for lunch, so John helped me. I tried the glasses on, and horrors. I couldn’t see correctly out of the left eye. We were leaving on a cruise in a week. Dr. Blount was off. We drive quite a way, so I really didn’t want to go home, and then come back. Plus, I was still hoping to be able to see on my cruise! John disappeared, and then returned, taking me first to see Susann. She rechecked something, and then took me to an exam room. Dr. Rhodes came in, did another exam, made a pair of trial glasses, and I could see!!! Unfortunately, my new glasses didn’t make the cruise, but I picked them up today, and I can see great! Great teamwork here!

Very friendly staff. I work a lot of hours every week and usually have only Sunday off. I broke my frames at work Monday and called TSO got set up an eye exam. The soonest available appointment date was going to be more than a week out, but when I told them what happened they made room to get me in Wednesday morning. They had me in and out in about an hour, and everyone was super helpful and friendly. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone.

We’ve gone to TSO for two years now and really like them. Between my husband and myself, we’ve seen several of the doctors. The exam is fast and thorough. My husband wants d LASIK and they recommended a doctor and did his after checks. We were pleased with both the doctor and care. I’ve done glasses and contacts with them. Both years they’ve made recommendations that have helped with my vision including small items like changing my cleaner and larger ones like a different brand of contacts. Even after being a contact lense wearer for 15 years, I appreciate the tips, tricks and continued ideas for comfort and improvement. I definitely recommend the practice.

This TSO uses the latest equipment for preliminary testing, followed by a detailed explanation of the results with Dr. Blount.I chose my new frames from a great selection just after my eye exam was finished. Patricia helped me order the perfect frame. She was very thorough in taking the measurements for the lens.I highly recommend Dr. Blount and his staff for eye care.

I have been going to Dr. Blount since I was 10 y.o. (30 years now). He and his crew are the best. I had to try another doctor because of insurance changes about 8 years ago and that doctor had my RX all wrong, I started having headaches and could not keep the new glasses on for long periods of time (yet I needed them to see). So I paid out of pocket to see Dr. Blount and he determined the RX was way stronger than needed and fixed my RX and I have been his client ever since with no exception.

Dr. Rhodes is awesome and straightforward and Mr. John Riley was extremely helpful and honest. The staff was great all the way around.

Dr Blount gave me an eye exam for glasses when he knew I had ointment in my eye. I kept saying I don’t need an exam because I had one in May. Won’t visit him again. The technician that helped me was very nice

I recently left my old eye doctor looking for someone with great service, reasonable prices, and knowledgeable staff, and found TSO. My first appointment at TSO was today with Dr. Robinson. The staff was kind and attentive, I had a very short wait time, and the doctor was prompt, knowledgeable and kind. I also loved that I didnt feel pressure to purchase anything from them(they did ask, but didnt shove it down my throat). My entire family (6) will be switching to TSO. It is so nice to know there are good doctors, that have great service, and short wait times left in the world!

No matter how long it has been since I have last been here, I always feel like a valued customer, if not like family. From the time you walk in, until you finish with your visit, you are taken care of.

My cousin called and gave insurance information and was told to come in that they do take his insurance. He goes gives his ID and insurance card. They call him in back. After 3 eye exams they come tell him they dont take his insurance and he will have to pay out of pocket. Big waste of time. Why they asked for membership ID and RX # over phone and said yes come in is beyond me. And why bring him to the back? Just plain bs!

In a time where customer service is dead, the staff at this office go the extra mile.
