I’ve purchased materials from here before. The reason I’m giving four starts is because Saturday their just open till noon. Really. DIY people who work during the week only have weekends to work. It’s pretty lame to close at noon. Why not just finish the day and work till 5:00PM. The staff and selection are great. I just dislike the hours. Now I have to wait till Monday which I can’t go because I work Monday - Friday which means I now have to wait till next Saturday which means I need to find another company that sells stones today. I can’t wait that long. :(.

Prices are good and the yard guy is nice. The folks at the front desk are all business, so you get in and out quickly and efficiently. Definitely the place to go if you need more than just a sack of rock.

Awesome place with a pretty good selection. Great prices compared to many other building supply stores and actually talked me into cheaper product rather than trying to sell top of the line. Then even have me the option of buying seconds for half price. Will go back over and over again

Their sign in the window says Open to the Public. They may be open but they sure dont provide any service.Talk about a wasted trip to this store. My wife & I decided to expand our flagstone patio so we took a sample of our stone and drove to Beaumont from Yucaipa to check out their selection. We walked into the store and there was no one around. Then we noticed a guy moving come containers on a hand truck at the rear of the store. He ignored us so I thought he was just some guy doing a delivery. After wandering around the store for a few minutes, the guy walked passed us pushing the hand ruck and I noticed he was wearing a shirt that said Resource Building Materials on the front. I asked if they were closed and he said nope and keep walking. I intercepted him as he ambled towards the sales counter, showed him my stone and asked if they had anything like it. He glanced at it and said It might be Arizona. Go out in the yard and the yard guy will help you find it.No Hello, no Welcome to Resource Building Materials, no How can I help you?, no nothin. He wasnt actually rude but bored, disinterested and a little annoyed that we had bothered him.I asked my wife, Are we done here? and she said that since we drove out here, lets check out what theyve got. So we went out in the yard and waited for the yard guy to finish moving some empty pallets around with his fork lift. And we waited and waited and waited. The yard guy looked at us as he drove him fork lift into the building and disappeared. And we waited and waited. Finally, it dawned on us that maybe the yard guy wasnt in a hurry to help us.So we decided that Resource Building Materials obviously didnt want our money or our business or the business of our friends or any of the companies with which we do business and we left.The drive to Whitewater Rock is about 1/2 hour longer but there we know we will get good service and a cheaper price. The delivery charge will be a little more but they will appreciate our business, unlike this outfit.

The inside staff is extremely knowledgable. Walking outside to inspect, look and compare is great!
