Absolutely loved my experience . Came in today from Jasper with both of my daughters looking for two homecoming dresses. I wasn’t aware of appointments until I seen it on the window however the owner allowed us to come on in and shop. Ms. Simmons and her daughter instantly gave us their undivided attention, made suggestions, assisted them with their fittings , and made each of them feel special . I could tell that they love doing what they do and that makes a world of a difference in that type of industry. Today’s experience was priceless and I will definitely be shopping there again!!!

I had the best experience shopping for my Mother of the Bride dress! The staff was friendly and helpful and they had a great selection for all sizes and shapes!

Dude these dresses are over priced. Who’d pay 500$ for a dress for one night! Better off going to the store at the park dale mall or David’s bridal. They had the same dress I saw at jcpenny for 55$ and it was there for 457$!! Like are you serious! Don’t waist your time like I did. Zero stars

We can not say enough good things about this place. They were all so helpful and made us feel like we were their only customer. We never once felt rushed. They made me feel like a gorgeous bride to be and absolutely made it a super pleasant experience. We have gone to several bridal places before and this was hands down our best experience! We would recommend this place to everyone! From bridals, bridesmaids, mother gowns, and prom gowns this place is a must visit!

I found my perfect dress here!! After trying 3 different bridal stores I came into Mommy Dearest! The staff here made me and my crew feel very welcome! They were very patient and gave me so many great advice. Definitely the best store I visited!!

This experience was by far the best I had while shopping for a wedding dress! The girls there was incredible! I was beyond stressed but when I told the girls about my dream vision for my gown, They allowed my dream to come true and knew the perfect dress for me! I hated it as soon as I walked in they said we wont have iny in your size. And it rilly made me made they didnt give me iny help at all.

They work well with people & make great suggestions based on your body type. I like that alterations lady is typically there on site so you are able to see how dress will look with alterations prior to purchase.

It is just the usual prom, pageant or wedding dress shop, nothing really special or original. Since change of owners, not as helpful.

I loved my experience here at Mommy Dearest Formal! I bought my prom dresses, wedding dress, accessories, and bridesmaid dresses from them. The customer service here is amazing and the store is gorgeous! So much better than any other boutique Ive shopped in our area.

When I came into the store I got a hello and thats about it aside from her asking if I was looking for a certain color, after I replied no she walked away, I then proceeded to look and walked around the store for a good ten minutes with it, nobody helped me or asked if I needed a room. After I went back there I tried the dress on, I didnt like it and as I was about to walk out she handed me three dresses, all of them were horrible and the opposite of what I was looking for. They were all unflattering (I have a curvy shape and Im pretty tall)These women are salesmen and just want you to buy their dresses. They act like every dress looks fabulous on you (when they obviously dont) and when I found a dress I somewhat like in one size below mine (which they also never asked for my size and the sizes the gave me were wrong) I asked to try it on and the older woman straight up said no because I would rip the dress.Go at your own choice. I hated this place so much I made an account to write a review.

THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE!!! Beware, the women in this place are salesmen and nothing else. They shoved every single dress down my throat. Didnt ask my size or dress styler preference or anything. Every time she held up a dress to try and get me to try and I didnt like it, she simply said oh it looks better on just try it! Every. Single. Time. Even if I hated it and expressed that as politely as possible, I was forced to try it on. I could put a potato sack on and walked out in it and they wouldve said I looked like a goddess or something. I had one simple request on dresses. No strapless. Im too busty to be playing the pull up the top of my dress all night game. I got handed three strapless dresses anyways. It was a dress shoppers hell. Im a size 8-10, and that lady actually handed me a size 0 and looked astonished when I said there was no way Id be able to try and put it on. One dress plainly didnt fit and I told her so. She said oh just put it over your head and try it! Like, my makeup and hair would be done BEFORE I put the dress on and you want me to struggle to get that sucker over my body? They would do anything to get you to buy something. Even better for them if it would have to be altered. Just a hot mess in there. If you want others opinions to suffocate you and for yours to be thrown in the garbage, go here. If you enjoy dealing with car salesmen, but cant experience that all the time, now is your chance.

The worker there kept picking me dresses that i didnt like and kept telling me to try it on regardless of my size. terrible experience.

Very professional, wonderful people. I used them for my wedding and I loved them. WAY better than any other boutique in Beaumont.

Terrible went there to look for a prom dress and had a idea of what I wanted and the lady would just throw all these unnecessary dresses at me telling me to try them on and then once I was trying them on there is no mirrors in the dressing rooms if you have social anxiety as much as I do you will NOT like it they will make you feel bad for not coming out of the dressing room and showing them.. Never will I go there didnt find my dress and there was not many choices in my size!

The service here was amazing cant wait to go back for prom 2017!

If you are looking for a prom or homecoming dress, you may be in luck; however, if you are wedding dress shopping...bypass this store. Their selection was very small and almost felt as if these gowns were used or second hand.

Awful, just awful.Mommie Dearest has the worse customer service.I felt like I was just rushed in and out.Im a size 6, but was given a size 14.Yall just go to Davids Bridal.Itll be easier on you and your bridesmaids.

Best place to look for a dress

First off who names their business after an old movie from the 80s that depicts an abusive mentally ill mother played by Joan Crawford ? Shouldnt a place you are buying the outfit for the most special day of your life have a more uplifting name ? Anywho, customer service is lacking and this place creeps me out.
