Had the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Ask for Morgan! Very knowledgeable, helpful, professional and not your typical car salesman! He made the whole car buying experience easy! I will be referring him to anyone I know buying a car. Quickest I have ever drove a car off the lot.

After sidelining our vehicle for about seven days to examine the cause of an engine light warning signal, the dreadful signal reappears 90 miles away- I called to check the work status two days in on 7/22 and Tyler in service said there were five vehicles ahead of us and we would have to wait on a “line technician” specialist to inspect the issue. After asking if they offer a loaner vehicle or compensation for a rental (we’re talking a week without a vehicle people), the response was no. The issue ended up being a bad solenoid related to the air intake. Ok that’s replaced and resolved. Now imagine your wife and daughter are presumably back on the road safe, having received excellent service work. But in reality 90 miles later they experience low power, OnStar alerting immediate attention needed to the engine , a check engine light and anxiety about possibly breaking down. After driving out to check on them I open the hood and discover in 30 seconds that the throttle body hose was hose clamped and secured in a HALF CONNECTED position leaving a gaping error and gap. I reclamp it properly and the check engine light disappeared some miles later. We will be filing a BBB complaint tomorrow. Now I’m wondering what the percentage of oil caps get tightened and replaced properly. What we experienced was lazy work from an incompetent, unconscientious “special line repair” personnel that we waited unreasonably for. Do you all perform pre-employment screenings? Who signs off on the work upon completion and what specific employee is responsible for this? We’re not accidents waiting to happen on the road, only customers that will never return to Classic Chevrolet. We will be following up in person regarding these issues but the public deserves the truth to be told.- I attached two photos below for clarity:

BEWARE! If you are considering purchasing a used vehicle from Classic, think again! I purchased a Cadillac November 2020 as a second vehicle, 2 weeks later the check engine came on. I took it somewhere else to have a diagnostic done and it gave two transmission codes. I immediately called them and told them what was going on and was told I didn’t purchase a warranty so if I wanted to bring it in for service, I would have to pay out of pocket for it. So I end up having it repaired somewhere else. Fast forward to May 2021, we were looking for a truck. We decided to give them another try. We purchased a 2016 truck. They kept it 7 days after we purchased it because their service department was “backed up” and it needed to go through service for their multi point inspection. 5 days after we were finally able to pick it up, check engine light comes on. I immediately take it to them (after what happened with the last vehicle we purchased from them) and I’m told by the finance manager who we signed papers with the service department is just too backed up right now, someone will call us when we can drop it off. We decided to drive straight back to service and the lady who came out to talk to us that worked in service told us “good thing you brought it back because we have 30 days to repair it since you just purchased it”. It was there for another week getting two bad fuel injectors replaced. We were confused how after just undergoing a multi point inspection, they missed the fuel injectors! We pick it up and 12 days later, check engine light comes back on and it was making all kinds of sounds, the transmission completely goes out and we cannot even put it in drive or reverse. So I call the finance manager to tell him what’s now going on and they tell me they are not reliable. We just had a new transmission put in and it cost $3,800! We’ve had to hire an attorney as they are obviously resetting check engine lights from other reviews!

I stopped at Classic Chevrolet Cadillac returning to my home in Florida after visiting my son and his family in the Houston area when the alternator on my 2007 Chevrolet quit charging. The lady I spoke to in the service department was quite nice and seemed to want to help a stranded motorist in a strange town. She took my information and asked me to wait until she could arrange something. About an hour later she advised me that they didnt have an alternator and that they didnt have time to fix my car anyway. But she told me that I could hang out in the customer lounge until I could arrange something. I called my son and he located the part from an auto parts store and brought it to me, along with the necessary tools to repair my car. After he arrived, it took us 18 minutes to replace the alternator and I was on my way. Im 73 years old and I can remember when car dealers were a different breed and welcomed doing something that would not only give them some business, but also good public relations. Im just glad it was me and not my wife who experienced the breakdown. But i appreciate the use of their wifi in the customer lounge. I also appreciate the use of the parking lot where I fixed the car myself. It saved me at least $150 in labor cost.

First of all it took 4 days to even look at my truck. Then after they diagnosed the problem i was told that my repair cost parts and labor would be $4200. I then told them that was too much money and I would be picking up my truck. The front associate said that the mechanic indicated that the truck was too dangerous to drive off the lot! I replied that I would have it towed then to another repair shop. She okay after i pay my bill and I got it towed to another local shop that day. The other repair shop did everything the next day at a cost of $642.00. I was very happy i got it fixed correctly and saved big $$money. You think that the dealership (Classic Chevrolet) would be the best repair shop in Beaumont, Tx that a person can go to but in my case it was the worst!

I only gave 2 stars because my sales man is awesome. He has a 5 star rating. I bought a used vehicle and had an issue. Scheduled an appointment for it to be checked out and fixed. That was a week ago and i have yet to get even a diagnosis of the issue.I upped my rating to 4 stars. After talking with the GM the issue was resolved. I got my truck back and it is running properly.

Shady dealership! Shame on the entire company. BIG changes need to be made at this place. They will not sell you a car at MSRP according to a guy named Destin. So dam greedy! Got on a list a JK and they do not charge over MSRP. I repeat as of Oct 12, 2021 JK do not charge over msrp. Say away. They want you to pay double what the car is worth to pay their bills! He actually said that. Wow! PLENTY of dealerships are charging MSRP ONLY. Dont believe me?? Join some chevy Facebook groups and talk to people. Call some dealerships and talk to them. They wont give you that chip shortage bull! And they wonder why they cant get any allocations! Sell the cars fast!!Thank you GM for changing the allocation process!

My father purchased a brand new 1957 Chevy from this family owned business it was on my bucket list to go back there just for nostalgic reasons the hospitality that was extended to my wife and I was beyond belief we were given a tour of the facilities antique furniture and cash registers free schwag I cant tell you how much we appreciated and how extremely nice these people were I have bought many cars in my lifetime but I will fly to Beaumont to buy my next car from these people again you cannot imagine the genuine nature of their hospitality I was also given a framed picture off the wall of their business which I will proudly display in my garage by my 57 Chevy these people are awesome

Selling customers credit life policies within a contract, but not honoring these contracts to those who have lost loved ones is an unethical business practice. There are too many reputable businesses one can buy vehicles from- don’t support Classic Chevrolet.AS TO THE RESPONSE: I am NOT the customer in question, but a family member. My experience was horrible m, my husband and I bought a used 2011 Chevy Silverado and had to wait a week to be serviced. Well, 2 days later we got it home and the transmission went out, the sales manager Perry Jones was a complete jerk about everything. I asked him why did the transmission problems not show up when being serviced. He said they dont check for those issues and he wasnt going to do anything to help us. Said it was our problem now. Wouldnt a transmission going out be a safety issue? The service department should check for ALL issues. Period. I am very disappointed and WILL be getting an attorney on this issue. Perry is a liar and con. Do NOT buy a vehicle from these people. They are very dishonest. Only out for themselves and what tjey can make off of people.

We got this 2011 Honda Accord that was used.. they have tons of inventory both pre-owned and new. I would suggest coming here to get a vehicle whether its a Honda BMW Chevy Ford or whatever this is the place

Only giving them a 3* because the people were so nice. They worked my truck in for a service.But there was an issue that I would like to share to others.. they said they rotated my tires, they did not! How do I know you say.. I have 1 tire that has a very very small leak, takes a few day before I lose a couple lbs.. and guess what after a few days I lose those couple lbs in the same back left tire.. so they did not rotate them. I would recommend marking your tires to make sure they rotate them before you pay for something that they DIDNT do!!!

Stay on top of the mechanics at the service center. My wife had to take back her car a couple of times because the repairs they were supposed to have completed werent. Not a bad place but maybe a little mismanaged when it comes to the service center and the mechanics. The mechanics even tried to argue with us about there not being a coolant leak stating that they replaced that line and there was no leak. Well that was until we sent them the pictures I took with my phone which are dated and would coincide with when the vehicle was there. Once seen that they were like well keep looking, eventually replacing that line and now there isnt a leak. Not bad, but would definitely go elsewhere if there was a dealership closer.

The service department has lost this dealership my business. Truck is a year old paid over 60k for it (still under factory warranty) it’s thrown a CEL twice in less than a week. Instead of letting me come drop it off on my day off I’ll have to take of work to bring it in, because they don’t have any loaner vehicles. Last I checked it was a car lot with plenty of vehicles. So not only do I have to take off work to bring my truck to the shop but I have to limp around I’m reduced power mode. Not a very good way to manage a business. Especially with someone who buys as many vehicles as I do.

If y’all want to buy a car, PLEASE DO NOT GO TO CLASSIC IN BEAUMONT. I bought a car over 3 weeks ago and was just able to pick it up today. They said they were going to put new breaks in it and it would take 1-2 days. They said they were waiting on a part, and I do understand that mail is backed up but 3 weeks.... I talked to 3 managers, and every single one would tell me they’d call me back and NEVER did. I always had to cal them. We told them we’d be there today when we got off around 530-6. We get there and 2 couples show up after us and get taken in the office before us. Customer service was awful, they way they talk and act, they clearly don’t care about their customers. Worst experience I have ever encountered.

Terrible communication skills!. No one will get back with you when they say they will. Will not return phone calls or texts! My husband was trying to buy a vehicle online with one of the salesman. We sent all of the requested documentation to the dealership and then everything went silent. The dealership now has all of his personal info and no one will respond, this has me very concerned. I have bought several vehicles online in the past and had everything done and completed within 24 hours. Not a place I would recommend! And as of right now I have no idea as to whether the paperwork went through or not because no one will return a call or text.

2018 silverado 16k miles had appointment to have leaf springs checked because they are making a clunking sound. Got to the appointment, they tell me 3 to 5 days before they could look at it. Wife has a 2018 Kia same problem they could never look at it. Today called about silverado tires chunks falling off, no response, it only has 16,660 miles. Service sucks and vehicles seems to suck also. Im contacting Chevy.

Even though we were just looking we had a nice young gentleman named Alex help us out and was so kind and very knowledgeable! My dealer was Kevin Lee I HIGHLY recommend this individual. He was extremely polite, informative, and went beyond what was required of him to make this deal work on my end. Aaron was very friendly, and not at all pushy. He even showed us less expensive alternative we had not thought about just to help us make sure that we were really getting the SUV that fit us and our lifestyle. There was no haggling or sales tactics, I had researched the trade in value of our old SUV and the price I was willing to pay for the new SUV, and gave him those numbers. He took those numbers to his sales manager and came back within just a few minutes to let me know that they had accepted my numbers, with one exception - they were willing to go $500 LOWER on the sales price of the new vehicle than what I had offered. I was shocked! Side note: I had not counted on my wife wanting the automatic retractable running boards and had not researched them beforehand so I had overestimated their cost. They could have easily taken advantage of me on the running boards (I was the one who had made the initial offer) but they didnt. I still would have gotten a great deal (we were about $6000 under sticker already), but their honesty really impressed me.Aaron was very busy that day, and it was late in the day, but he made sure we got through the finance department, made sure the vehicle got washed (even though the detail department was about to close) and filled up the gas tank. I would recommend Aaron to anyone looking for GM or related product.The finance department was great too. I was braced for the usual onslaught of add on offers and prepared for about an hour of saying no thank you repeatedly, but he wasnt pushy at all. He really only offered us an extended warranty, which my wife has gotten on every vehicle we have purchased for her (My wife has always ended up getting her moneys worth out of those plans).I would definitely recommend this dealership and especially Aaron.

I purchased a used Chevrolet Camaro a week ago through Carlton Smith. The clutch went out on the 6th day in the car and Carlton told me before making the purchase that the previous owner had burnt out the old clutch therefore he had too purchase a new clutch.( Lies, Lies, Lies) After speaking with Carlton on the 7th day on June 8, 2020 after 9a.m.. he told me had had too speak with his manager whose name is PerryI would advise no one not to purchase a new or used vehicle from this company because they all are crooks. Now i have to get the clutch fix. This is called bad business.
