Called to speak to representative and kept getting automatize response and repeatedly hung up on. Recommended to go through the website for a reasonable quote and was quoted $750 for a basic windshield replacement for a 2014 F250 with no sensors. Went to follow up with a phone call to make sure i was quoted correctly. This company will never get my service again. Safelite, do better.

They called me to drive the vehicle in from two hours away. When I get there. They make me wait then they tell me the window they ordered won’t work because it’s not oem yet they didn’t attempt to install it. Now I have to come back in two days because they have to order the oem windshield which I think should have been done in the beginning since they knew the make and model from the start. Very unprofessional

Needed front glass on a 1997 chevy truck. Got the glass replaced some place else for $130.00 less than safelite price.

This was a joke. I paid for a service and they cancelled on me. I would not recommend them at all.

Customer service does not exist. I needed to speak to someone and you can NOT get thru to a live person. All you get is recorded messages then you are disconnected.

I dont do business with a company that can not use a real life person to answer the phone. Called several different numbers and only got prompts telling me to book an appointment on the website.

My wife couldnt do the drop off , but I had to schedule it online cause when you call all you get is a recording. But she let them know that she didnt have another ride so they got it done quickly.

Awesome customer service. My wife and daughter went here thinking a new driver side window was needing to be replaced. A representative quickly noticed that the window was not needing to be replaced. He temporarily secured the window and sent my wife to the auto part store to buy a regulator for the window motor. She then returned and they replaced the regulator for a nominal and fair fee. She bragged to me how they treated and respected her. My wife doesnt brag to much when it comes to things like this...but this place made my wife very happy and caused me not to stress out! Thank You Safelite Beaumont!! I just wish she would have gotten his name..when i look at the receipt, I will see if there is an employee name or ID#.

Great customer service! Called my insurance this morning because a rock chipped our windshield yesterday. I was given Safelite on Stagg Dr as an authorized repair shop. They were booked until next week but the claims agent was able to call the location directly and get an appointment for 2:30 today. I dropped in on my lunch break to see if they could work me in early. The gentlemen there were very nice and said they could work me in. I walked over to Jason’s Deli and had lunch. Within 20 minutes they called to say my vehicle was ready! You can barely tell there was a repair done! I appreciate the fast and friendly service! We will definitely return for any window repairs in the future.

Terrible..called me twice to get my car in early told them i was at work till 3. get there i see a note on glass that they close after last job is complete.. now i see why they called twice. they want to go home..didnt really want to listen to what i had to say. they know what they are doing and thats it

Manager, Ryan extremely rude and unprofessional. Sent someone out to fix a rock chip and she didnt know what she was doing and she made it worse. Now Im stuck with a crack thats spreading and they dont want to do anything.

I had a chip in my windshield and David came to my house right on time provided great and friendly service and even washed my windshield. I had a tow code thing written on the back windshield of my car for the longest time and he even cleaned that off when I asked. All in all a great guy and great service

So you hear about this company that goes above and beyond; going out to these people and taking care of them. This is not a negative review; but I will be writing another review today based on how I am handled this time. The first contact; they pretty much told me I needed to come in; they didnt have people available to get to me. I came in; and they did take care of me. If they cant come out on my next visit. I would recommend to use any glass replacement service as they all will be the same. What stands out about a company is not what they do; its what they do better then anyone else. Safelite was better because they went above and beyond. They didnt on my first visit; this is their second and final chance.

Great service from John Duke!!!! HE NEEDS A RAISE!!! This guy went above an beyond to get my windshield fixed! It wasnt supposed to rain that day ...an it did this guy knew his stuff! I had my car broken into two days before Thanksgiving, one of my windows was smashed. I had an appointment at Safelite for the repair, but when I showed up they had ordered the window with privacy tint even though I told them I didnt have it. I was told it would be another few weeks to order a window without tint. I was scheduled to go in today, January 5, to get the window finally replaced. I called to confirm and was told that even though my work order specifically said no privacy tint they took it upon themselves to order a window with privacy tint again with out consulting me. The desk clerk explained to me that they did this because back windows usually have privacy tint. I specifically told them no privacy tint, after my first visit the techs specifically reordered no privacy tint. Now Im told that I cant speak to a manager because its Saturday and he doesnt like to work on his day off. I have taken two days off of work and driven around with plastic taped to my window for a month and a half. He seriously cant take 5 minutes out of his day to fix his MAJOR failure? This place is absolutely worthless.

This chuckle head hops out of his car and talks about how state of the art their system is and then breaks my glass even worse. What’s was a small chip the size of a quarter is now the size of a softball. Then when he offered a refund I get an email saying that they cancelled the appointment and I would be charged a cancellation fee. ARE THESE PEOPLE CRAZY?!?!?!?!

The technician that came out to replace my windshield was not very experienced. He completely jacked up my windshield wipers. Safelite sent out a second technician to reinstall the wipers. That was just over a week ago. Today they stopped working again during a rain storm. Now I have to drive to Beaumont to get this resolved. Not happy!

The quality of the work is just bad

I did a quote about a month ago and the quote was $379. I did one again today for the same vehicle and it was $489. Seems like a steep price increase in a months time.

They were supposed to replace windshield after large crack formed across driver to passenger side and then recalibrate safety cameras and then replace windshield wipers. Receipt said they replaced windshield and wipers and exterior windows cleaned and vehicle vacuumed. I am not convinced they did any of these things, maybe just repair and maybe sort of cleaned exterior windows. They did not vacuum anything I could tell. All tape was removed prior to my return. They said they had pictures but when they showed them to me the three were upside down and very small of before work and one of the rear end of my vehicle after work. The adhesive from my dashcam that had been mounted to top of glass behind rear view was still there altho the plastic adapter was gone. The guy for customer service said maybe they tried to put adapter back on. I asked where adapter was, he said in garbage with old windshield. I asked if I could go get it, he said trash came yesterday after they worked on my car. Of course. I think I bought new wiper blades for no reason and they repaired instead of replaced (charging for replacement) and threw away my dash cam adapter. I no longer trust Safelite Auto Glass. They used to be awesome.

I went in today, for windshield replacement, but first I checked to see if it could be repaired. The crack was to big, 8:10am took me vehicle in 8:45 I was leaving, real professional, nice respectful, I will use this shop anytime I need a glass fix.

Had a cracked windshield replaced on our Mercedes. Safelite sent an email with an appt date, time and place confirming windshield replacement, as well as ADAS camera calibration. Upon 2:00pm arrival, I dropped off the car and was told it would take about an hour and a half. At 3:30 I was told it was not quiet ready. The windshield was installed but a tech was driving it to calibrate the camera and they were not quiet sure when he would be done but assured they would call me as soon as it was ready. I arrived to pick it up at 4:00pm and they said tech was still out calibrating. I inquired on how long this process normally takes. 20 to 30 min he said. How long has he been gone? About 45 min he replied. OK so I waited. About 30 min later he arrived in my car only to tell me the car was not calibrated, the test had timed out. At this time its almost 5pm so they asked if they could come pick up the car at my home some 40 miles away, keep it all day to do the calibrating and upon completion, they would return it back to me at home. They are scheduled to pick it up tomorrow and I have mixed feeling about this. Not sure I am wanting a young man whom I do not know to have access to my car all day. On the other hand I am not going back into the city I had it replaced in for another couple of weeks and appreciate they would pick up my car and return it to me at home.#worriedanduneasyyetgrateful

Came here to get the back glass on my truck fixed they had the best price and gave me a military discount. I will be coming back here for my glass or window repairs thanks again.

I was scheduled to have my window replaced on January 3rd between 2-4 pm according to the phone I received at 10 am. At 5 pm on the 3rd I called the safelite tech and he told he was behind on another customer from another appointment and didnt think about calling me about how he might be late that turn into not showing up at all or calling me about the holdup. I had to call him just so he could tell he wasnt showing up. So I lost a day of work because he couldnt be bothered to call me so could atleast get some work in that. When I tried to reschedule for the next day when I was off and they it would be another week before they could come out to fixed my window. They did take off twenty dollars like that would help. I would not suggest anyone to their service under any circumstance. Not how to keep customers. I know would not ever use them again. Just bad service all around.

Too expensive compared to me shopping around at other competitors. Found one for half the price and what they were charging me.

I had a crack repaired. The guy said it was guaranteed. About 2 months later, it cracked. I called him, he asked me to bring it in. I drove 30 min to get there. Short story, the technician was nice, the lady in the front office was rude. The guarantee pays back your insurance for the original charge. I didnt know what it covered, but was treated like I wanted something for nothing. I think its just a lame guarantee and she was anticipating trouble.

So my insurance company sets me an appt. with this company on a Tuesday. So I arrive at 1:12pm and was told that since I was more than 10 mins late I’d have to reschedule. While rescheduling I was told to take my light bar off the hood of my truck before work can be done. I go home remove light bar and wait to bondo the holes until after the window is replaced since they have to remove the seals. Fast forward now it’s saturday morning and have been here from 8:30AM - 10:15AM just to be told that they can’t even work on my truck because of the screw holes, but 4 days prior I had to remove it now that it’s removed they still won’t work on it. Highly advise going to cardinal or binswagner they gave me 0 problems and said safelite is always a problem. Save yourself the headache!

I cant believe I recommended this place to others over the past few years. My wife had a tiny bb sized rock chip so we made an appt for them to come out and fix it this past Friday. Lauren made this tiny barely noticable chip into a 2 long crack. She said there was nothing else she could do and there were no guarantees. Then she left us with damage to our vehicle that she created!!! My wife called and spoke to the assistant mgr Laura about the incident and she didnt have authority to do anything about it. She promised the head mgr would call us first thing Monday morning. Of course no manager ever called us. I will never recommend nor use Safelight in Beaumont again!!! Thanks for making it worse and charging my insurance!!!
