Went here fairly late one evening with my family. We all tried different things. I tried the salted caramel and also an orange flavor. Both were decent, but nothing special. Certainly not the best Ice cream like all the reviews are saying.The staff seemed rush and not the friendliest. It also smelled like body odor inside, but it may have been some kind of cleaning spray or something. I was also disappointed to see NO vegan or sugar free flavors. Prices were a little high. I may be willing to come back yo give it another try in the future if they expand the menu and are more welcoming.

We stopped here multiple times in one week while vacationing in the area. Everything was SO good! The Oreo sherbet was just amazing and the mint Oreo crunch was so good I didn’t even get a photo before I had eaten most of it. They let us sample flavors before deciding on one or two in a cup, waffle cone, or milkshake. We tried the lemon chiffon, strawberry, Snickers, and salted caramel; they were great! You must go!

My husband brings our daughter here a few times a year, as a Special Father, Daughter Day secret between the two of them. Mommy isnt suppose to know,...lol!!! They have been doing this since the opening of the store. Id have to say, Stellar Ice Cream, must have that something special that keeps my husband & daughter coming back!!!

The owner was so kind and helpful. My partner loved the pistachio and strawberry ice creams. They had a vegan option too! Strawberry sorbet. 10/10 recommend this place.

Terrific ice cream shop! Friendly staff and reasonably priced. I recommend the Butterfinger ice cream. Best I’ve ever had! We’ll be going back.

This place is AWESOME! We visit every weekend after finding this place on accident. Im not sure about the poor reviews...but you all are SMOKING something. While I do notice a lack of engaging customers and standoffish body language at times, it doesnt bother us... because were there for the ice cream... and if there are questions about flavors, there is discussion and conversation about the products. Ill always come here to support this business.... everyone else complaining...is free to go to Publix.#coconut #darkchocololate

Ahhhhh- mazing ice cream!!! If you thought vanilla ice cream was boring, you haven’t lived till you’ve tried their Killa Vanilla ice cream. Bold vanilla flavor that is wonderful to eat. And the Banana Pudding ice cream was absolutely fabulous - real banana flavoring with crunchy nilla wafers even though I got the last of the batch!!Cannot recommend Stellar Ice Cream any stronger! You will not regret any of the flavors, and honestly, they should be charging more as the quality is that good!

Found this place while running an errand to Grayco. Thought I’d give it a try and so glad I did! Their ice cream is so creamy, smooth and beyond delicious! I’ve always been only so so about vanilla ice cream but their’s is the best I’ve ever had. I am a HUGE fan of their Killa Vanilla!!! Loved it so much that I bought a pint to go for my husband who has tried numerous versions of vanilla all over the world. He even agreed that it is of the best he’s also had. Will be bringing him next time to try some of the adult favors. Highly recommend this place to people of all ages! You won’t regret it!

Awesome home made ice cream. Lovely shop with excellent taste in design. My favorite is the seasonal Apple Pie and also coconut ice cream. They definitely taste to the names. Definitely recommend trying it out. They also have coffee and couple other things but have not tried those out yet.

Having just moved to the area, we discovered this place this evening. Worth all the rave reviews! We got the Danish cream, baileys, and coffee chip ice cream flavours which were all delicious. Though possibly the best was the fresh homemade strawberry milkshake - so good!

Their ice cream is SO GOOD. To be honest, Im not really an ice cream person, but theirs may be converting me. Its super fresh, tastes homemade in a way few places do, and theres not a flavor Ive found that I wont take a plunge into. *Note: to-go pints may cause fighting spoon-for-spoon between significant others.*

We stopped by after dinner. We are from out of town and went by the recommendations on here. It was delicious ice cream and the owner was super pleasant and friendly. We will go back tonight to try more flavors. The space was very clean and welcoming. A must do when you’re in Beaufort!

While waiting to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy down the street, I found this ice cream shop. Delicious ice cream flavors, so smooth and creamy. And the server was patient and friendly with my kids as they decided what flavors to get. So good, well have to come back again!

Every time we visit Stellar we love it. The Ice Cream alone is worth the trip (the best in town by far). But when the owner unlocks the door for you when you show up after closing time with your four kids it makes you even more appreciative! This is our ice cream shop of choice in our little town.

The ice cream is delicious. Creamy and top notch.The staff during my visit, which may or may not have been some kind of employee and a manager or an owner, were not all that welcoming to guests. They didn’t really engage with anyone or talk about their flavors or their product at all, they just sat there and waited for you to place your order and flipped the screen when it came time to pay and collect a tip. In such a small establishment on a Saturday, this lack of customer service stands out.I also inquired and you are not allowed to split a single scoop, which is something that’s a little bit unusual in an establishment that sells by the scoop. Most of them will allow you two flavors when purchasing a single scoop but that is not possible in this shop. The same cups are used for the single, double, and triple scoop, and having ordered a triple scoop and observed a single scoop, I will not be ordering a triple again. The best value is definitely a single scoop because the portion is relatively generous whereas the triple is a bit stingy.The quality of the milkshakes are quite high although the price is a little bit steep for a rather small shake. Overall, I will be back and I really enjoyed the ice cream, but this was almost in spite of the staff and some of these simple business choices. With Tillamook now available at the Publix across the street, stepping up the customer service may be wise.

Looked like it was going to be great but had a hard time choosing a flavor it was less than exciting and the peach and orange sherbet was not good. Lemon was good. Coffee chip was not very good either, all of the ice creams had little to no flavor. Not impressed.
