Stopped by to check out this place called the kitchen just to see what it looked like. WOW!!! What a great place to grab homemade food ready to cook. Ran into the owner, by chance we graduated from Beaufort High in the same class. She has a great concept, fresh made foods for all taste, single or larger size entrees. I got the Lasagna for dinner, great taste, ground pork and beef with fresh basil. All entrees come with detailed cooking instructions, just a great place thats selling fresh home style food. Forget the froze food section at the grocery store.Fantastic!! PS........Im a Chef!!

The food from The Kitchen was delicious. I love the concept! The food is cold with directions for heating, if applicable. Their dishes were better than any restaurant in the Beaufort area. Grab lunch, dinner and breakfast on your way out to the sea islands!

The absolute best! We would be totally lost without them these days. The kitchen always has wonderful food. The staff is fantastic. They always have a smile on their face and ready to help! Thank you for making dinner easy.

I attended a reception this afternoon catered by The Kitchen. Everything I had was delicious! I will definitely use them when a future need arises.

Nice place! Very convenient & the food is tasty!! I was kind of skeptical of having cranberries in a chicken salad but, tried it & fell in love. The grilled wings are awesome also!!

Our family discovered The Kitchen during pandemic and we honestly may not have survived without them! We took advantage of their delivery service during that time, we now pop in or use on line ordering and pick up all our favorites! Shrimp and Grits are amazing and you can’t go wrong with their bakery items! We find great healthy selections as well!

Phenomenal food, friendly staff, and an amazing variety of choices make this my familys go-to place for take out instead of Door Dashing when we are too tired to cook our own meals. Everything we have tried so far is tasty, and just recently walked in during lunch time with a co-worker and had a wrap, which was amazingly filling and tasty as well. Everything was professionally packaged and sealed (on-site) and was only a few dollars more than you would pay at McDonalds.Fresh quality, ingredients folks. You cant beat this. Its a hidden gem in Beaufort.

The Kitchen has catered many times for our neighborhood events. Every time has been an outstanding experience. Their food is creative and delicious; their people are professional, easy to work with, prompt, careful to clean up and friendly. During the pandemic, we have taken advantage of their take-home prepared meals, and it has been so helpful! Thank you, the Kitchen staff, for the delightful variety of meals to choose from and for being there when we needed you!

They saved Mothers Day! I cannot recommend this place enough. I typically do not enjoy pre-made meals whatsoever, but The Kitchen changed my mind. I was late getting into town for Mothers Day weekend and stopped by here on Saturday morning (after seeing it on Google) and bought a full brunch spread in preparation for Sunday. The shop is beautiful, clean, and they have so many different options. Think of it like a chic boutique for pre-made meals. I bought tomato pies, pimento cheese, biscuits, shrimp and grits, and blueberry cobbler. There were clear directions for reheating everything (which was a breeze) and everyone LOVED the food. I will be going back again and again! And what a great gift idea as well. I also recommend it to tourists who are looking for great food and not wanting to spend lots of money dining out constantly. I love to cook for guests...but Im glad I dont *have* to anymore since I have this option now!

Food is excellent and staff friendly. Prices are a little steep but worth it.

I had seen this place before, but never went inside. When I recently had a baby my colleagues picked me up a few delicious dinners and desserts from here. Nothing was disappointing. Everything I had was great. So much so I went back to get more. They now have a long time customer. It’s ideal for a busy mom who still wants delicious meals for their family.

Excellent dinners when you dont feel like cooking. Our favorites are red Thai curry and shrimp and grits. Portions are plentiful. For appetizers/parties, the crab tartlets are terrific and have a bit of heat. We also got roasted turkey and gravy for Thanksgiving here. All delicious!

I highly recommend the shrimp and crab quiche and the tomato pie! Looking forward to trying some of their other dishes. They have an excellent selection of prepared meals. Something for everyone!

Tasty, fresh foods and awesome staff! Awesome chefs, too! Call for any special items that may not be on the menu and to check availability. They will bag your order and have it ready for you to pay and pick up.

The Kitchen is one of my favorite spots in Beaufort to go grab a snack or meal! Some of my favorites are the BLT salad, chicken salad wrap, ham breakfast biscuits, and my absolute FAVORITE is the pimento cheese dip!! You can’t go wrong with anything you get at The Kitchen!

My first time in and I stocked up! The empanada was delicious as was the Margarita Pizza! Looking forward to chicken enchiladas later this evening!

I ordered the Fall Harvest salad. I called to ask for certain changes be made. They met them all and then some. It was delicious. Thank you.

Very friendly helpful place, I havent tried to grab dip and pimento dip I bought but it sure looked good.

Prepared takeout meals and catering.Good variety to choose from.

The choices were plenty and they do list the ingredients on each lable, but we found the shepherds pie and squash soup to be too sweet when we were expecting savory.

The vegan meals were horrible and had zero flavor. The non-vegan ham rolls were horrible. Both were way over priced. A poor addition to thanksgiving and Christmas meals. Why is this place so popular?

During this long Covid time........we have blessed there existence & they have improved our marriage!

Great tasty options, with some on the healthier side which isnt always easy to find when it comes to prepared food. Very clean and nicely laid out shop, great aesthetic, and the new location is much more convenient.

Good selection of prepared meals and desserts to cook at home. The shrimp and grits were excellent as was the coconut cake. Decent value as well. Staff was very pleasant.

They prepare amazing healthy dishes for you to cook at home. The menu changes weekly and they are great for ordering a few meals a week or an entire meal plan for someone unable to prepare their own meals. The food is always amazing and so is the service inside!

Have purchased 3x now. Eggplant with spaghetti squash, lasagna and Mexican shrimp gazpacho. Excellent every time. And the apricot bars are FABULOUS.

Expensive but perfectly prepared foods!

The communication is very bad, prices over phone was quoted 2xs and got there and they saw me & assume I had plenty of money so went up on the price to $3.25 more per item than what I was told on phone for same product. Same size, same sku number! No call back or customer service satisfaction! Cashier today had bad attitude short lady with glasses and apron on!

From the moment I stepped through the door I was greeted with the warmest smile. The service was incredible and the atmosphere was none like Ive ever experienced. Everything from the local art to the rustic decor set the tone for what was next... The amazing food! They have everything from low country comfort food to garden fresh favorites. Do yourself a favor and go visit The Kitchen :)

Yummy food with a wide selection of choices. The Shrimp and Grits (any of the kinds) are AMAZING! Not Yo Mamas Meatloaf is also another fave of mine!!! Definitely worth every penny!

Leigh and her team catered our wedding. The food was excellent but the service was subpar. We had a terrible time trying to confirm services with Leigh and her team beforehand and finally got an invoice a week before the wedding. They delivered and setup the food but had no plan or directions as to what to do with all of their serving platters. We called and got no answer but received an email saying someone would be by to pick all of them up. The lady that did come by was very rude and said “Aren’t you all driving through town on your way out?” My response was yes, with a car FULL of stuff. She was very rude. Three stars for the food, none for the service.

Everything is so yummy! It smells so good when you walk through the door!

The food is the best in Beaufort, without a doubt. My personal favorite dish is the shrimp Alfredo, made with local shrimp sautéed to perfection. All of the staff are super friendly, and deliver home cooked meals right to your door.

Such a treat. Delicious with everything prepared daily. You must try them and treat yourself.
